This absolutely stinks to high heaven. What other political parties have inadequate background checks? Who amongst serving m.p.’s has not been properly checked out. Again, nothing was learned from the last round of investigations into child abuse. Background checks should be standard. Why aren't they? Much like the BBC I guess people in politics just didn't think it was important.
