There's 'not being dbs checked' and then there's 'everybody somehow failing to notice a major police investigation centred on the house which is the official address for the Coventry Green Party and and residence of one of its spokespeople'

One does rather wonder how police visits to the house could go unnoticed.

Aimee stood for election to Parliament in 2017, Coventry South constituency.

She remains the prospective Green parliamentary candidate, as far as I am aware ( ie viewing Coventry Green Party website).

but we'd ask you to be extra careful when discussing family members or attempting to piece together any information that might identify the victim.

She is currently standing for the Deputy Leadership of the Party. The contest closes next week.

I know people are desperately worried about the need to not punish s child for the crimes of a parent BUT Aimee showed a serious lapse of judgment AND failed to disclose a matter that would bring the Party into disrepute *.

That's a suspension issue, FFS, before we get anywhere near any question of actually mentoring and caring enough for a member/spokeswoman/candidate enough to get them to step back.

And that Aimee Challenor's mother, David Challenor's wife was Membership Secretary until very recently.
