When you see threads plopped into FWR, especially the curious repeat of well worn subjects, I recommend you check for poster history before engaging.

There are a number of posts/posters/threads being referenced on twitter with screen shots & flagging in either MNHQ or outlets to try & get articles commissioned.

The explanation didn't load for me before but it's: Message from MNHQ: We've had a mail from the OP and have agreed to delete this thread at the advice of her solicitor.

That possibly makes sense but, tbh, so many threads have been deleted (including other sub-forums) that I'm losing track of what material is where etc.

Phew.
I almost lost my marbles there.
But does that mean the demonstration for Linda and Venice is still on? I hope so.

I'm interested to see what happens this weekend.

Just a quick reminder. Some new posters with some forthright views that seem GC on a surface level, but look like parody screengrab fishing expedition to me.

You can check if someone's already posted a link by putting the URL in the advanced search. I've only just worked out how that this works.

FermatsTheorem - it's one of those things where I keep working out how to do something and then forget!

I can only intermittently remember how to do a 'deep' link to an individual post in a long thread after locating it. (You know, when someone says, "Does anyone remember where that cartoon is? - and you end up naming the thread , the pg # and doing a C&P of the user name and date:time stamp because there's no easy way to pick up the URL of just that post?)
