When you see threads plopped into FWR, especially the curious repeat of well worn subjects, I recommend you check for poster history before engaging.

There are a number of posts/posters/threads being referenced on twitter with screen shots & flagging in either MNHQ or outlets to try & get articles commissioned.

OP posts:

Is it sad that I just tried it?

Why do you think I said that about dislocating shoulders? Although I did stop before I quite got to that stage Grin

EmpressOfSpartacus · 24/08/2018 17:56

Pulling my elbow out of my ear & getting my sturdy pyjamas on to bump for the bank holiday weekend.

Bienchen · 24/08/2018 18:15

Think it has already started, new poster and second post on FWR.

IncrediblySturdyPyjamas · 24/08/2018 18:18

Crikey, they are all out today aren't they?

Hang on to your seats, this weekend will be bumpy.

Bumpy bump...

VickyEadie · 24/08/2018 18:34

There are actually three of them working in tandem on that 'differences' thread.

Do they get orders from TRA or MRA HQ and sent as a team?

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 24/08/2018 18:40

I see that you've deployed the buttered weetabix, Vicky!

I was going to post pointing out that the main, nay most important, difference between men and women is our ability to run under a bar...

VickyEadie · 24/08/2018 18:41

Y'see, that's where I'd be outside the 'norm' as well, because I'd be crap at it.

People were far too accepting on that thread - it was obvious.

LangCleg · 24/08/2018 18:46

Obviouser than an obvious thing.

Ereshkigal · 24/08/2018 22:26

I see that you've deployed the buttered weetabix, Vicky!

I read that as "battered weetabix" like a battered Mars bar and thought, "Now that really is going too far" but maybe not for Lang

Iused2BanOptimist · 24/08/2018 23:57

There was once a horse that refused a bar over a big ditch at Badminton horse trials, and crawled under it instead, rider still somehow clinging on. It was a female rider of course. And it didn't count as a refusal because it went between the flags and negotiated the fence. Way to go.

heresyandwitchcraft · 25/08/2018 12:32

Time for another bump.

carceralfeminist · 25/08/2018 13:47

Urgh, that is definitely a PSA-worthy poster on the other thread.

EmpressOfSpartacus · 25/08/2018 14:18

Boing. Just for a change.

heresyandwitchcraft · 25/08/2018 17:09

Did someone feed the Gremlins?

ReluctantCamper · 25/08/2018 22:25

At Victorious festival in Portsmouth and listening to the charming and erudite Billy Bragg’s unquestioning acceptance of the Daily Mail = Bad, Minorities = good rhetoric made me think this was due another bump

Also thank you amazing people for helping me use my brain a bit more so that this I made this face Hmm

frogintheTyne · 25/08/2018 23:32

Reminder

ballsballsballs · 26/08/2018 09:39

Morning!

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 26/08/2018 10:39

"Hello, I'm a super concerned parent who knows absolutely nothing about this topic despite my child being completely immersed in it. Please can you say something awful about trans kids so I can screenshot it? Thanks!"

Popchyk · 26/08/2018 10:43

We'll get a lot of this over the next few days I think.

The TRAs will desperately try to create some outrage in order to try to stop people talking about the Green Party stuff.

LangCleg · 26/08/2018 10:56

We'll get a lot of this over the next few days I think.

We will. No way to counter the various allegations so an alternate distraction tactic will be deployed.

athingeveryoneneeds · 26/08/2018 10:58

Took them a few days to think it up, didn't it?

heresyandwitchcraft · 26/08/2018 11:02

It's so disingenuous. But I am trying to follow Datun's maxim: "remember the lurkers"

TerfsUp · 26/08/2018 11:07

Bumping. Like a bumper car gone rogue.

LangCleg · 26/08/2018 11:09

What the lurkers need to see currently is the important threads with implications for safeguarding at the top of the page.

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 26/08/2018 11:12

Heresy, true. On occasions I've wondered if someone is genuine and being hostile is not a good look when considering lurkers. Patience until they reveal themselves!
