Why “Get The L Out” ?
July 5, 2018
Angela C. Wild
Who We Are

Get the L Out is a group of lesbian and feminist individuals and organisations, opposing the increasingly anti-lesbian and misogynistic LGBT movement and the erasure of lesbians

Why We Protest

We believe that lesbian rights are under attack by the trans movement and we encourage lesbians everywhere to leave the LGBT and form their own independent movement, as well as to be vocal and take action against the proposed changes to the GRA.

Get the L Out believes trans politics (with uncritical support from the LGBT movement) does the following:

Promotes the social transition of lesbians, encouraging them to present as straight men thus favouring the pretence of heterosexuality over lesbianism – this is nothing more than a form of conversion therapy.
Promotes the medical transition of lesbians and pushes harmful drugs (untested hormone blockers, Lupron etc.) as well as unnecessary medical practices on perfectly healthy bodies – these are a form of misogynist medical abuse against lesbians.
Promotes the rights of heterosexual males who “identify” as women and lesbians (despite most of them still retaining their male genitals) over the rights of lesbians to choose their sexual partners. This new ‘queer’ LGBT politics thus coerces lesbians to accept the penis as a female organ and promotes heterosexual intercourse between male and female as a form of lesbian sex. This is simply a new facet to rape culture and compulsory heterosexuality." (continues)

OK, Snappity (reposted because I inadvertently misgendered Stefonknee Wolscht):

Under Stonewall's definitions fetishistic cross dressers and part time transvestites qualify as transwomen. Both these groups have sexual motives for transition. Paraphilias are almost exclusively found in men.

Among the sexual preoccupations of transwomen are dumpster diving for used sanpro and pretending to be a 6 year old girl whose "daddy" fucks her up the arse. Meet Reed Barrow and <a class="break-all" href="https://gendertrender-wordpress-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/gendertrender.wordpress.com/2015/11/29/transwoman-stefonknee-wolscht-lives-life-as-a-six-year-old-girl/amp/?amp_js_v=a2&_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQCCAE%3D#referrer=www.google.com&_tf=From%20%251%24s&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fgendertrender.wordpress.com%2F2015%2F11%2F29%2Ftranswoman-stefonknee-wolscht-lives-life-as-a-six-year-old-girl%2F" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Stefonknee Wolscht, who abandoned 7 kids to find her true, hideously narcissistic, self. If you want to argue that Stefonknee is a special case, please be aware that they are a spokesperson for transgender issues in their home country.

Transgender porn is becoming a hot seller. GameLink, an online porn provider, says its sales of transgender porn have increased 14 percent in the past year, and now make up 10 percent of its overall revenue <a class="break-all" href="https://www-cnbc-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2015/08/27/transgender-porn-quickly-growing-in-popularity.html?amp_js_v=a1&_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQCCAE%3D#referrer=www.google.com&_tf=From%20%251%24s&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cnbc.com%2F2015%2F08%2F27%2Ftransgender-porn-quickly-growing-in-popularity.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">link.

In two very common genres of trans porn - sissyfication and forced feminisation - the role of woman is adopted as arousing because it's seen as intrinsically humiliating. It portrays women as hot sluts eager for degradation.

A man who gets off on forced feminisation will clearly find the "humiliation" of being observed to be male by women in a loo or changing room arousing. Anyone who does this is using women as masturbatory props in a sexual fantasy.

Or try looking up hashtag girlslikeus.

But I'm sure you know all that.

Under Stonewall's definitions fetishistic cross dressers and part time transvestites qualify as transwomen.

They definitely do not because fetishistic cross dressers and part time transvestites are male

So your statement was wrong.

I started reading a recently published book, 'Trans: Exploring Gender Identity & Dysphoria- a guide for everyone (including professonals)' edited by Dr Az Hakeem yesterday.

Within the the opening chapters, Dr Hkeem discusses fetishistic transexxualism and autogynophilia and the significant differences amongst those people who would all be 'trans women' under the Stonewall 'umbrella' (including drag queens)

Is that the best you can do, Snappity? Do you realize how transphobic it is to exclude anyone who identifes as a woman from "womanhood"?

Don't GIRES release figures about the proportion of the trans population that seeks medical intervention? Only about 20%, as I recall? CBA to look but I'm sure it's something like that.

Hence the endless banging on about ladypenis and all the articles instructing lesbians - lesbians! - how to have sex with the feminine plonker.

Surely you are aware of Philip / Pips Bunce?

Yes Lang, GIRES monitor it... Here’s a report from 2009 worldaa1.miniserver.com/~gires/assets/Medpro-Assets/GenderVarianceUK-report.pdf

300k to 500k down to 3500 having some kind of surgical treatment.

Offred · 13/07/2018 10:16

I’ve deliberately included the ‘gender variant’ group as the top number since they are now being included re trans rights...

I also suspect it is way more than 300k to 500k if ‘gender variant’ means everyone stonewall has included in their trans umbrella term but I don’t know what they include in ‘gender variance’...

UpstartCrow · 13/07/2018 10:20

People who consider themselves true believers are convinced they know who the true believers are. This is part of the problem of joining a movement that uses woolly terms, especially if its used as a way of obfuscating the facts.
Everyone else who joins the movement also uses woolly terms, and no one can be sure anyone else is using the terms in the same way.

Offred · 13/07/2018 10:23

They define transgender as ‘some degree of gender variance’ (differentiated from transsexual which they define as suffering from gender dysphoria). They don’t explain what ‘some degree of gender variance’ is and go on to say since medical intervention is frequently not necessary there is no need to accurately measure the numbers in their report.

Snappity · 13/07/2018 10:23

Is that the best you can do, Snappity? Do you realize how transphobic it is to exclude anyone who identifes as a woman from "womanhood"?

The whole point is that transvestites and drag queens etc do not identify as female. It is why the gender reassignment protected characteristic doesn't cover them (and why Stonewall etc wants to change the definition) because they don't have the purpose of changing sex.

Offred · 13/07/2018 10:25

The numbers of transgender people (‘some degree of gender variance’) as opposed to numbers of transsexual people (with dysphoria and highly likely to require medical treatment) that is.

Snappity · 13/07/2018 10:29

Thank you R0wantrees

Trans woman is someone who lives and identifies as a woman.

It is a very narrow group. It doesn't include transvestites (they neither identify as nor live as women although they might spend a lot of time presenting as a woman). It doesn't include AGP males - they identify as male.

It is why Self-ID isn't a risk because Self-ID only applies to trans men and trans women (ie who both identify as men / women respectively) which is a small group, essentially just transsexuals.

Snappity · 13/07/2018 10:31

Pips Bunce is gender fluid and therefore not a trans woman

Offred · 13/07/2018 10:33

The whole point is that transvestites and drag queens etc do not identify as female.

Transvestites do sometimes identify as female, that’s the point of the current medical requirements... to distinguish transsexuals from people with paraphilias who are motivated by transvestic fetishism.

It is why the gender reassignment protected characteristic doesn't cover them

Yes, we know but the whole point is the transgender movement (which stonewall are part of) are lobbying to widen the recognition process to give opposite sex based rights to the other people in the trans umbrella who are not transsexual but transgender, remove the term transsexual, do away with medical requirements etc etc

(and why Stonewall etc wants to change the definition) because they don't have the purpose of changing sex.

Total inversion of reality there!

R0wantrees · 13/07/2018 10:38

Have you read this statement Snappity by the founder of TransOxford?

"I’m normally not on this account anymore because of the threats I was receiving. But I can’t ignore the news and what’s happening to women’s rights. So here’s a few more thoughts I’ve been having lately.
I am a transsexual. I’m not ashamed or proud of it. It was not my choice of lifestyle and it doesn’t make one’s life easier. It’s not a delusion. It’s a disorder, a rare medical condition I’ve been suffering from since early childhood.
I tried to ignore it for many years but, unlike fancy pursuits, medical conditions don’t just disappear, so I had to deal with it. I’m feeling better and happier now and more in harmony with myself and won’t want to and realistically can’t go back now.
I remember the early days when I’ve learned about transsexualism and realised that I wasn’t just having a unique unexplained madness but it actually had a name and doctors studied it.
Unlike many modern trans people learning about it from the sensationalist media and following the trend, I was actually living and behaving contrary to the (stereotypical) expectations of my birth sex since I was 1,5 years old.
As the male hormones were taking over my body, I realised that I needed specialist help which I was lucky to receive.
When I was in my 20s I enjoyed meeting accomplished transsexuals who looked convincingly like women and behaved compliantly to the expectations of the sexist patriarchal society we’re living in. They’ve integrated socially so well!
I was learning about them and from them. We were treated like women by the society at large, experienced sexism as women and felt strongly about feminism and women’s rights. I still do. In any gender debate and sex war, we were women’s allies.
Then came a transgenderist, a transvestite, a crossdresser we used to bar from our circles, a man who envied us and wanted to be accepted purely because he liked dressing up but didn’t want any medical transition.
And wanted to have sex with women and transsexuals. On his terms, like any other man.

In transvestites’ mind we were transitioning purely because we wanted to look more feminine to have more sex with men. What a joke!
For most of us, it wasn’t about men or sex at all, we just wanted to fit it, be accepted, allowed to live with no social expectations from us as men, to be left in peace to get on with our lives.
Some truly evil fringe politicians promoted the idea of transgender being an ‘umbrella term’ for transsexuals as well as transvestites while, in reality, we’ve never had anything in common. But we politely stood back and listened.
They wanted to create artificially a new political / social justice lobby group and a new consumer group to fund their politics - a transgender community. Creating such artificial groups is now called sociogenetics.
They told us about our rights and tolerance and diversity and being kind to the others having hard times as we did for so long. And we listened and tried to accommodate them.
Then they told us about trans community, culture, need of visibility, fighting for trans rights and can confronting the rest of the world. We gasped in amazement and tried to ignore them.
Because, as transsexuals, we always knew that there is no ‘trans community’, our community were ordinary men and women around us and we felt more things in common with women than anyone wishing to confront them (as usually they were men!).
We had some rights by then and for most of us women’s rights were sufficient and important and applicable to our lives. We didn’t need any separate ‘special’ trans rights. Most of us weren’t suffering from misgendering or had any problems with access to female only spaces.
Calls to be ‘visible and proud of being trans’ were also defying the whole purpose of our transition as ultimately we all always wanted to integrate seamlessly and live as ordinary women without drawing any unnecessary attention to ourselves.
But the new transgenderists insisted that we know nothing and have to fight for more rights. Fight with whom against whom? It appeared along with transvestites against women refusing to see them as women and denying access to female only spaces!
Because now we all were under the same umbrella. We all were transgender and the very term ‘transsexual’ was said to be obsolete, archaic and transphobic!
Our medical definition was hijacked, transvestites were setting the rules and laws now and all those who didn’t buy into their ideology were branded transphobes. That was a wake up call and a peak trans moment to many of transsexuals.
Further developments were predictable: the new gender expressionists wanted to ‘remove the medical stigma’ out of transgender status by abolishing our diagnosis and widening further their made up umbrella.
Now even a statement that to be a trans one needs to be diagnosed with gender dysphoria is considered transphobic. Because anyone can now be a trans purely if they self-identify as it.
The idea seemed preposterous to transsexuals but not to transvestites because they had no gender dysphoria and always wanted to hijack transsexual rights accorded to them on medical grounds.
More and more transsexuals peak trans now and oppose the very idea of gender self-id but more and more often we are assumed to have self identified ourselves as trans in the past, so why can’t we be ‘fair to transgender’? Why do we ‘throw them under the bus’? (continues)

I assume @snappity that you've written to Stonewall to express your discomfort at their definition including cross dressers etc? Oh you haven't. Why not?

Pythagonal · 13/07/2018 10:42

How do we tell the difference, Snappity? How can we tell, just by looking at them, who is a transwoman and who is a transvestite, and who is someone with AGP who is dressed as a woman to enter female only spaces to get their kicks?
