Linning - in the UK, lesbians are, by law, a protected class. A class of female human beings with a same sex attraction. This is defined in equality law.

You can waffle on about individual preferences as much as you like. And of course, any person is free to reject a sexual relationship with any other person, or have any preferences they like about who they date and who they don't date. It's called consent. And dating is naturally discriminatory. We like what we like and we don't have to have sex with what we don't like. But this is entirely irrelevant waffling.

Lesbian is a clearly defined protected class. And it only includes human females who are exclusively attracted to other human females.
