Zinnia is real, just a really horrible vile creature. He has a treatise on how it is ok to wank off a horse to make horse dildos (apparently because it saves more horses getting molested?). And when a porn star killed herself following Twitter bullying, he was the first in line to say she had only herself to blame for being homophobia (she said that she didn't want to have sex with men who have sex with men).

Zinnia has a massive following, and is the sort of person that they'd hold up as the ultimate outcome of Western liberalism in an Islamic state, as in 'if you don't implement sharia law, you'll end up with THIS'.

haXXor · 10/06/2018 20:30

XYR2000 has protected h** tweets. I suspect that that account holder monitors this forum.

bd67th · 10/06/2018 21:10

@haXXor That's a shame. I was going to link to the tweet that XYR sent to me telling me that the reason why the sexes are segregated is because of "toxic transphobic patriarchy that says women are too weak to be housed with men" or words to that effect. Except that we are physically weaker, and also have the ability to be impregnated by said men, so yes we do need to be housed separately.

Helpful screenshot.

waves to Aunty Xyr

bd67th · 10/06/2018 22:03

@EmpressOfSpartacus No, it was a reply to me, when I said "Why do you think prisons are sex-segregated? It's to stop male prisoners from using their penises to rape female prisoners. Gender identity has nothing to do with it."

XYR replied to tell me IIRC that women only think that we need single-sex prisons as protection from rapists because of "toxic transphobic patriarchy" tells us that we are weak. Never mind men having testosterone-induced muscle hypertrophy and a penis with which to rape...

NotARegularPenguin · 10/06/2018 22:14

You would have thought the transactivists would want to distance themselves as much as possible from Ian Huntley.

Anyway who knows if he actually wants to be called Lian or not? Until I see him giving an interview (unlikely) saying so or the head warden at his prison releases a statement saying it’s true I take it all with a pinch of salt.

EmpressOfSpartacus · 10/06/2018 22:18

Sorry bd67th, cross post. I thought that if Xyr's tweets are now protected it would be useful to share my screenshot of the Huntley business.

GeordieTerf · 10/06/2018 22:37

This story has been floating around for about 18 months now and the prison service are yet to deny it... which makes me think there may be some truth to it.

I doubt Huntley is allowed to give interviews or release statements anyway.

Either way, this is just more pain for the victims' families. AngrySad

AskATerf · 11/06/2018 04:15

I will wait until there is official confirmation, rather than rumours, before referring to Huntley as she.

I will never be referring to Ian Huntley as she. Because he is a man.

Even if he were a nice man, not a child murdering rapist, he would still be a man.

That lunatic Zinnia is right though. If you believe that a man is a woman because he says so, literally 100% of "transwomen" could be rapists and you would still have to let them use the women's loos. That's actually a perfectly logical, rational proposition, which is unusual from the trans lobby. You can't say only the nice ones get to use the women's loos: if they're really women, then all of them, including the rapists and murderers, get to colonise our space.

CaitlynsCat · 11/06/2018 06:22

I did a fairly thorough Google search, and there wasn't really any solid evidence that Ian Huntley is now called Lian. It's all basically 'according to the Mirror', and then the Mirror said 'sources said'

Bibesia · 11/06/2018 06:41

Why all the cries about alerting the Mail? If you think Twitter cares one iota about what the Mail says, you really are deluding yourself.

Pratchet · 11/06/2018 06:45

It's more coverage of how women are silenced.

Pratchet · 11/06/2018 06:51

Julia Hartley-Brewer on talkRadio will be duscyssung this today.

Pratchet · 11/06/2018 06:52

Discussing: excuse my typo.

This is wonderful

Cwenthryth · 11/06/2018 07:39

From previous trans topics she’s covered (and the fact she just ‘deadnamed’ in that tweet!) I think we can predict how that’ll go. I’d mostly be interested to see if any TRAs publicly defend this. I don’t know who ‘Aunty XYR’ is (hi though, I assume you’re reading!) but what have the usual known trans-commenters said on this.... I’d really be interested to hear opinions from Fae, Madigan, Bergdorf, Lees etc.

Did Martha Lane Fox ever respond to FPFW’s open letter about the Twitter bans? I expect that’ll come up.

Bowlofbabelfish · 11/06/2018 07:42

Why all the cries about alerting the Mail? If you think Twitter cares one iota about what the Mail says, you really are deluding yourself.

I’m sure they don’t. However, the mail, whatever your opinion of it, is a mass circulation daily paper with a huge reach. We are finally starting to see coverage of this issue in the mass media and that’s a positive thing.
This issue needs to be brought into the public domain as widely as possible and discussed by the general public - NOT by policy makers behind closed doors and not in a Twitter bubble. TRAs want this legislation to self ID snuck through without debate. I want people to talk about it, understand it and decide on that basis.

2rebecca · 11/06/2018 08:07

Dead naming is bonkers as a concept. You can't and shouldn't try to pretend part of your life didn't exist, particularly when talking about decades of your past life.
For people who were abusive and murderous this is particularly important.
This sort of splitting of your life in to strict compartments and legally stopping people talking about the earlier bit is wrong and psychologically unhealthy.

fruitcider · 11/06/2018 08:07

XYR replied to tell me IIRC that women only think that we need single-sex prisons as protection from rapists because of "toxic transphobic patriarchy" tells us that we are weak. Never mind men having testosterone-induced muscle hypertrophy and a penis with which to rape...

For fucks sake.

I work in a male prison. Men in prison still rape weaker men as an act of power and control. Of course sex offenders who suddenly decide they feelz like a woman are going to rape women in female prisons.

Are people just complete idiots?

RhythmStix · 11/06/2018 08:17

I am confused by all of this. without wishing to come over as ignorant (which I am on these matters) can someone please tell me if my summary is correct:

Is the child murderer and serial child rapist Ian Huntley now describing itself as a woman? Is it because he really is a woman or so he can get into women's prisons so he can rape more of them?

What does 'deadnamed' mean?

Is it now illegal to call Ian Huntley 'him' ?

When people say 'I am peaked' do they actually mean 'Piqued'?

Thanks.

Terfulike · 11/06/2018 08:17

Yes, shouldn't Caitlin Jenner hand her medals back.

RhythmStix · 11/06/2018 08:19

Also is it now the case that anyone, anywhere, can just wake up one day and decide to call themselves a woman ? does this mean they will be able to go into female only places like women's hospitals, girls changing rooms and such?
