Hello all, man here! am i welcome to talk and learn a bit about stuff ?

Ive done a little browsing in the feminism section and i admit its intriguing, please forgive my ignorance as i dont know alot about this all.

I just want to start by saying i was raised to respect everyone and i truly do, my view on equality is simply if some one, man or woman is good enough to do the specific job they aspire for then they have every right to get said job/goal, again if this is slight ignorance forgive me, i post this topic because i would like to learn and be less ignorant, love me some knowledge.. :)

So i suppose my question is broad and depends on the individual person's view, but what is the over reaching/ultimate goal of feminism ? or what does it mean to you personally ? and please, dont think im trolling or anything i genuinely want to learn a thing or two, thanks :)

Me too. I ran away at first because AIBU was what AIBU is. Then I found the FWR at the direction of my friend Dittany. Came to lurk and stayed to chat.

(OP was an arse. If he'd been reading threads here for ages as he said, he would be aware that a first post should not be a request for labour from women. He could have just tried a contribution or two to threads that were already running to test the water. But he didn't do that. Because he is a man.)

And posters who are saying new people should read up, lurk, watch, etc, before they dare to even come on feminism, don't be so fucking ridiculous! Who do you think you are, an elite club or something? Anyone can go anywhere, in whatever way they choose, new or not, on mn. And I like the way OP was told he was demanding answers, expecting things (or whatever) then gets ordered to "go read, change your name"?!! This isn't feminism
