crispbutty you say various people 'have made it clear they do not accept trans women'. What do you think they have 'made clear'? What are they 'not accepting'.
My understanding of the people you mention is that they accept transwomen: exist, they are entitled to dignity, privacy and respect, are protected by some laws, have a right to speak/ protest peacefully and to hold views different to their own.
I don't think they accept trans women: are women, can become women, have protections that usurp all sex based protections or are entitled to shut down debate.
Believing that sex is fixed from birth and can and should determine access to some provision does not equal not accepting transwomen.
