I wonder if P will reference own age on Thursday?

Ereshkigal · 18/03/2018 12:09

Olenna, do you mean 2012? Which would make Paris 30 in October 2017. 31 this year or last depending on birthday.

Ereshkigal · 18/03/2018 12:09

So birth year potentially 1987.

Ereshkigal · 18/03/2018 12:11

Has P ever mentioned star sign? Grin

Trumpdump · 18/03/2018 12:28

I think Heather Peto is lying about their age too... seems to be a trend.

OlennasWimple · 18/03/2018 14:22

Ereshkigal - yes, sorry, 2012 - typing before having my morning cup of tea...

Trumpdump - Peto has almost certainly lied about their age, though to what benefit I can't quite work out. At least with PL it's about image

BeyondDeadlySiren · 18/03/2018 14:28

Well then we can definitely all self ID as 26 and go to QT

Ereshkigal · 18/03/2018 14:56

Absolutely Beyond Grin

Bejazzled · 20/03/2018 20:05

Have the BBC announced the other panellists ?

mirialis · 20/03/2018 22:49

Who knows whether PL's wikipedia page is correct as it's wikipedia but that says PL committed the crime at 16 and started the prison sentence at 18.

I've not looked at anything other than the Guardian interview but in that PL says:

Did GCSES (so must be 16 or 2-3 months off max)
Moved out
Got done for robbery of a client
In PL's words, case dragged on far ages as accomplice refused to come to court and judge was adamant they get sentenced together.

PL probably at least 17 now.

PL does 12 months prison + electronic tag curfew combined.

PL then moves out again.

PL then starts college and does A levels (at least 2 years).

PL then goes to university from which PL graduated 2009. From the timeline PL was probably 20 when they went to university in 2006 latest so I think is 31/32.

I don't really care whether PL is 20 or 30 or 40 tbh but just thought I'd explain why I had figured PL was 32.

ElenOfTheWays · 21/03/2018 00:40

Found this. Apparently Paris is 31.

BeyondDeadlySiren · 21/03/2018 07:58

According to yesterday's (day before maybe?) daily mail, Paris is 54 Grin

KatVonSweet · 21/03/2018 10:05

What annoys me most about Paris Lees is the fact they are held up as a model for young woman. Yet have ridiculous opinions like "loving to cat called". Okay Paris I guess you need to be validated but that's your problem. Get some self esteem ffs

IntelligentYetIndecisive · 21/03/2018 18:57

How does Paris Lees end up on so many TV programmes?

BBC Question Time Paris Lees
Pratchet · 21/03/2018 19:00

By being attractive and working behind the scenes for so long with a massive trans PR machine.

Pratchet · 21/03/2018 19:04

That's four men and one woman on bbc question time. That's disgusting.

IntelligentYetIndecisive · 21/03/2018 19:05

We need our own Paris Lees.

Someone attractive, intelligent, articulate and with an influential lobby behind him/her.

Pratchet · 21/03/2018 19:10

I am really angry about Question Time. Paris wanted a cis ally and got one. There is no feminist on the panel.

BeyondDeadlySiren · 21/03/2018 19:14

I'm mentally preparing myself to be unsurprised that Peter Hitchens ends up being the most feminist person on the entire show Envy

Ellenripleysalienbaby · 21/03/2018 19:16

Urgh no, not Shami Chakribarti!

That picture from Paris Lees twitter with the heavy filter, the blonde hair and red lipstick is bloody everywhere now. Its their latest 'look how well I pass' picture.

There are loads of women who could easily go up against Paris and win. Amy or Hannah for starters. Give it time....i imagine tomorrow night will consist of Paris throwing out the usual tropes and not being challenged at all, but they can't run from reasoned debate forever.

Pratchet · 21/03/2018 19:20

Yes, it will. And to put PH as the gender critical voice in front of an audience of under-30s is deliberately framing us as bigots.

I don't know worried. I bet they give Lees' underlings the pick and choose behind the scenes.

LifelongVaginaOwner · 21/03/2018 19:36

I can't watch Question Time because I get too annoyed. You can however play a lovely game with Paris Lees. Listen carefully to what Paris says. Then realise that they have said precisely nothing. Paris is the king & queen of word salad.
