The latest addition to a Labour LGBT+ advisory board has been announced. I think we safely say the party has made its position clear on trans issues

Like a trendy sociology lecturer being ‘down with the kids, hey!’

It's all so unbelievably childish. 'I'm a woman because I say so and you have to agree with me or you're being mean!'

My 3 year old has a better grasp of material reality and a more mature negotiating stance.

But if it’s a feeling - so not based on gender stereotypes: I like pink so I’m a girl - how do you know that you don’t actually just feel like a geranium?

Actually it may be a smart move re PR as it takes focus off LM. The two token TIMs. I bet he'll give LM a run for his money and I will lay money on the fact the two of them won't get on. LM will feel excluded I'm sure so he accuse MB of Transphobia? Got you LM!

It would be great if Jess Phillips went to the Birmingham meeting. I might start encouraging her on Twitter

A poster "Mr Mildy Annoyed" says:

"Presumably, they are gambling on the youth and women's vote to fill in the gaps left by the working man vote"

and gets 57 "likes". Seems some people are still not getting the message!

The first response is from a woman saying, er NO! This is not going to get the woman's vote, with 90 likes and then various other people pointing out that Mr Mildly Annoyed seems to have missed the point a little.
