And other tweets. I think she has lost the plot.

I wonder if the lack of empathy from IW over those murdered women is down to knowing that, in general, women are murdered by male partners or ex-partners. IW's issues with men not fancying him were shown in pretty lurid detail in CBB, and even on his Twitter, he's said he'd do Celebrities Go Dating but suspects they wouldn't find anyone for him. So on one hand it's a security that this isn't ever going to happen to him, and possibly even a jealousy of these women who had what he badly seems to want -the ability to attract straight men and have relationships with them.
I genuinely think there must be a deep resentment of women to go on Karen's website, see all those lives taken by violent, unbridled misogyny, and think "poor men." Hell, just reading about Molly McLaren who was stabbed 75 times by her ex boyfriend would be enough to make most people want to bloody weep.

iamawoman · 08/02/2018 16:17

I can only think it must be all those artificial hormones are not such a good thing. I wonder if when they presented as more masculine and wore the attire of a man that they were as completely bonkers !

Datun · 08/02/2018 16:25

LadyMcLadyCrisps

Will you ask him to make a UK list such as the one he has offered. The listing all the 'trans people suicides, attacks of trans people and trans people hounded by radfems'?

Let's cut to the chase and get statistics.. And definitions of attack/hounding.

Geronimoleapinglizards · 08/02/2018 16:26

I think India's protection of men is instinctive, because on one level India knows she's a man. (It's really, really hard not to write 'she.' I think I was far too easily moulded into being nice by society, what with being female.) She's simply protecting her tribe without stopping to consciously remember that, oops, they aren't her tribe.

That or she's attempting to be a handmaiden because it makes her feel more female to be a low-status, submissive person who considers men's feelings above hers at all costs.

I have to say, I went on Shon Faye's twitter. I know very little about Shon Faye but it struck me that Shon at least had tweeted things about how just because trans issues mattered to her, it didn't mean she and other women shouldn't shut up about all the other girls and women around the world living with other awful types oppression. I was quite shocked by the lack of narcissism and the consideration, tbh. I've gotten used to reading such awful things on there by TRA's.

Thisusernamethingistricky · 08/02/2018 16:27

Why don't you then India? Why don't you take the time to do this if its something you feel strongly about, and start your own website?

Oh yes, it's because you aren't a fraction of the woman Karen Ingala Smith is and you don't actually care about anyone but yourself.

Shon Faye libelled Kenneth Zucker on national television.

And also said this.

The female estate and female space has been marked out as the performance area for a loud sub-set of trans performers.

It's like being colonised. We didn't get asked; we're getting told.

Thisusernamethingistricky · 08/02/2018 16:39

Shon Faye does seem to come across as a bit more moderate as he does actually discuss women's issues alongside the trans stuff.

But then he also tweets stuff like the above or this. Shon appears to have 'no understanding' about why women might not want to share a refuge with someone with a penis.

When Shon Faye tells women that they can enjoy their erasure, they demonstrate the same tribal allegiance to men, as India.

Terftastic · 08/02/2018 16:46

India also fails to point out that when transpeople suffer violence, or murder, other men are the perpetrators - not radfems. Those poor old men that she feels so sorry for.

"Enjoy your erasure" - yes, it's a determined and deliberate attack. Shon Faye and IW are not women, they are transwomen. They know it, we know it.

So they'll bellow at us, and deliberately erase us, because they can't be us.

Collidascope · 08/02/2018 16:49

I also think IW has that whole 'privileged white male' faith in bureaucracy and the law when he was saying that it would be fine to let men (sorry, trans "women"😐) into the shelters because they'd do checks and vet and whatnot to make sure all was in order.
I mean there's the whole issue that the types of men who've decided they're definitely female and any woman uncomfortable with that needs to just deal with it aren't ones that should be going into places where women have had their boundaries breached again and again.
Also though, your average woman knows that most sex offenders aren't listed. They get away with it. Most aren't reported, aren't tried, aren't convicted.
And Christ, even if they are convicted or reported, it's not as though that would guarantee these men not being admitted. I mean, trans women rapists are allowed into female jails, right? And we've already had the argument about Marie Dean that he "offended as a male and now that she's found herself as a female all those issues that were a result of her confusion are gone." Or "well, this tw was accused of rape but found not guilty so I guess the cis bitch lied." Or "well that cis woman hit her boyfriend back, so why shouldn't this tw, who was found guilty of gbh, be allowed in?"
Women have no reason to believe that these checks and vetting will be any more sensible than anything else that has preceded it, in the trans rights movement. So much stuff that makes sense has already been sacrificed on the trans rights altar, why would this be any different?

Sabistick · 08/02/2018 16:53

Just tweeted channel 5 to say our household will no longer view their organisation (used too like alix polezzi) because of in antics. Feel better!

Sabistick · 08/02/2018 16:55

*IW.

backaftera2yearbreak · 08/02/2018 16:59

I’m coming out of lurking mode just to ask...what the actual fuck is going on 🙄 how can anyone look at that website and feel sympathy for a men.

I’m just. Well. I don’t even know what to say!

OvaHere · 08/02/2018 17:00

Welcome back back.

I’m just. Well. I don’t even know what to say!

Yes quite!

TheGoalIsToStayOutOfTheHole · 08/02/2018 17:35

I think, ask its specifically the site about murdered women thats being joked about and the owner slaughtered, maybe asking india for the very long list of trans people who have been murdered in the UK in the past year. You know, to show that trans people have it just as bad, if not worse?

TheGoalIsToStayOutOfTheHole · 08/02/2018 17:37

Or transpeople who have been murdered in the UK (of all time) by women. Seeing as India is concerned about men getting a bad name. That should do it.

OvaHere · 08/02/2018 17:41

I don't think for a minute Karen should compromise the website in this way but a section specifically on TIMs murdered in the UK would be interesting in highlighting that it happens very rarely in this country.

LindySprint · 08/02/2018 17:41

Yes. Isn't the issue that India should care about, who's doing the murdering and why? (Clue: it isn't women.)

Geronimoleapinglizards · 08/02/2018 17:48

Shon Faye libelled Kenneth Zucker on national television.

And also said this.

Shit. That's dreadful.

Fauchelevent · 08/02/2018 18:17

It strikes me that the trans movement is the only movement not creating its own spaces but demanding women give them theirs. And when women share these spaces we are called dirty cis this and that, insulted and criticised. But if we make our own spaces, so trans women can have theirs away from us as they wish... it’s also oppressive.

My conclusion is that what the movement wants is to stand on the shoulders of women and be fawned over how much better they do womanhood. How cis women could never . It’s this, or we ought to just fuck off.

doctorcuntybollocks · 08/02/2018 18:19

The trans movement is the cuckoo of civil rights.

LindySprint · 08/02/2018 18:21

Yes, my life - my female life - is not someone else's performance space, thank you very much.

Never ever posted on Twitter. Clicked on one of the India screenshots up thread to discover little India has blocked me. Poor wee snowflake.

What a joke India is.
