I am not sure this will help peak people.

People know, however hard they pretend not to, that TIMs are men.

Men are seen as individual people, when they do or say stuff, people do not use it against whole groups of them.

So when IW says shit, if people don't like it they will think, IW is awful. Not, TIMs are awful.

We all know that what individual women do is taken as evidence against women as a class - so if one woman in the world anywhere has ever done a thing, it is used to demonstrate that this is what women as a group are like.

This is why people feel comfy saying that the fact that 98% of sex offenders in prison are male doesn't mean reducing sex offending should focus on men, as 2% are women, so therefore it's the same and needs equal attention.

The handful of serious offenders we have had who are female (usually acting with a man) are held up repeatedly to draw attention away from the many many more male offenders.

Yes, it rather kicked off didn't it. Loads of fawning over what was obviously a bloke in a dress. I just didn't participate because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and thought if they genuinely had gender dysphoria, then I guess the fawning might help them.

LOL and behold it turns out he had started messaging a 16 year old member of the group with inappropriate messages. The failure of the mods to deal with it apparently led to the flounce of many of the core members who set up their own group.

There was another gender fluid lad on there. Again loads of fawning but he was clear that he was a boy who loved make up and he was quite good at it. I hope he is doing OK now.
