Labour Against Transphobia Facebook group

Lily Madigan and Aisling Musson are asking for 'screenshots and evidence of transphobic behaviour' so they can make Labour 'a truly safe space for all members regardless of their gender identity or lack thereof.' In other words, doxxing people so they can be thrown out of the party for gender-critical views.

The group write-up is:

A group formed to oppose the rising tide of Transphobia in the UK Labour Party and to seek to make the Party a truly safe space for all members regardless of their gender identity or lack thereof.

PLEASE READ THE PINNED POST

If you have screenshots and evidence of transphobic behaviour please put them in the google drive folder rather than offloading them straight into the group as it may otherwise be overwhelming and trans members should have the option to not have to look at upsetting comments.

Do not add anyone unless you are sure that they:

1. Are a member of the Labour Party
2. Believe the basis of gender is self-definition
3. Think that transphobia is grounds for expulsion from the party
4. Respect the autonomy of trans people to direct the fight against transphobia (I.e will not take decisions against the will of trans people)

If you are a trans and/or non binary person and you would like to be added to the secret group (trans/nb people only) please message lily madigan or aisling musson and we will add you.

Rules:

• No advocacy for violence, threats of violence of other illegal acts (quite apart from the morality of it, please do not get this group shut down)
• This is a not a discourse group. If you do not agree that transphobia is bad, that the Labour party has it and that we should fight it, this is not a group for you.
• Be respectful. As far as possible, please always be friendly, respectful and comradely and treat others as you would wish to be treated.

It would be great if trans people could have their own shortlists (not that I would consider them a priority). But that's not what they want. They want to muscle in on ours.

I don't understand why there can't be a trans only shortlist. What's wrong with being trans and proud of it.

Exactly. But apparently this is 'creating' something like aparthaid- despite the fact this is the status quo and always has been. The basic issue is a) biological women are allowed absolutely nothing for the crime of being biological women- everything must be taken from them and given to trans people, and b) anything that denies that a man can be a woman if he says so causes narcissistic rages.

Also, the last thing that men who fetishise womanhood want is to be isolated from the source of that fetish.

Also, TBF, if their were trans only shortlists it would result in a massive over representation of trans people in government.

It was suggested somewhere else but how about an LGBTQIA++++++++ shortlist?

Why do trans deserve representation over and above everyone else? Are there shortlists for the disabled? LGB shortlists?

I would not vote for a trans person, because so far all they have shown is that their sole interest and defining characteristic is being trans. They will not represent anything else.

I was shocked to discover today that Aisling Musson was involved in setting up that hate group and the hate list (which I am on.)

Shocked because it seems she is a disabilities officer and to my knowledge at least two victims on her hit list are disabled.

Who is the journalist who wants to take this up I am ready to speak to him now.

Is the Sophie Cook (name same line as Wes Streeting) on the FB name list the same Sophie Cook/TIM who completed the Jo Cox Women in leadership training a year or so ago? Anyone know?

Any one on that list needs to seriously think about launching a civil case. You would walk it.

UPDATE on September 13th Trans Hyde Park attack:

Tara Wood (born Tanis Jacob Wolf - so posh!) has been charged with 'assault by beating' against a 60-year-old woman.

Plea hearing will take place at Westminster magistrates court on February 15th.

Yes he will be found guilty I am sure. Face book post shows intent as well. I know he will get a very minor sentence, but he will have a criminal record now.
