Lily Madigan and Aisling Musson are asking for 'screenshots and evidence of transphobic behaviour' so they can make Labour 'a truly safe space for all members regardless of their gender identity or lack thereof.' In other words, doxxing people so they can be thrown out of the party for gender-critical views.

The group write-up is:

A group formed to oppose the rising tide of Transphobia in the UK Labour Party and to seek to make the Party a truly safe space for all members regardless of their gender identity or lack thereof.

PLEASE READ THE PINNED POST

If you have screenshots and evidence of transphobic behaviour please put them in the google drive folder rather than offloading them straight into the group as it may otherwise be overwhelming and trans members should have the option to not have to look at upsetting comments.

Do not add anyone unless you are sure that they:

  1. Are a member of the Labour Party
  2. Believe the basis of gender is self-definition
  3. Think that transphobia is grounds for expulsion from the party
  4. Respect the autonomy of trans people to direct the fight against transphobia (I.e will not take decisions against the will of trans people)

If you are a trans and/or non binary person and you would like to be added to the secret group (trans/nb people only) please message lily madigan or aisling musson and we will add you.

Rules:

  • No advocacy for violence, threats of violence of other illegal acts (quite apart from the morality of it, please do not get this group shut down)
  • This is a not a discourse group. If you do not agree that transphobia is bad, that the Labour party has it and that we should fight it, this is not a group for you.
  • Be respectful. As far as possible, please always be friendly, respectful and comradely and treat others as you would wish to be treated.
-No members of other parties.
  • TERF is not a slur.

Okay, I had another brainfart, so texted an ex of mine, who is hugely connected, proper elite type, he knows government and MPs etc, he’s going to do me a favour and find out where the government is on the GRA, I’ll update you guys.

NettleTea · 24/01/2018 16:00

no, Pink news is just twisting shit.
It doesnt mean anything
Everything as it was - transgender women (with GRC) already allowed
In the future we want to .......

who is pulling the bloody strings. I keep thinking we are just looking at the footsoldiers here, but there must be people up top applying pressure too, this has all been so well orchestrated. They already had fingers in every pie before we even knew what we were doing.

We are lucky with our equality act, and with the AWS, because its pulled this thing up short. Its the first time there is an actual law that has stopped them being allowed to do something. They thought the GRA upddate would go through without a wimper, because people would be blind to what it meant and they wouldnt want to be nasty to the poor transexual people they felt sorry for.

Oh from coversation today... a labour member male relative of mine - who's very much of the "ignore them and they'll go away" persuasion - has decided that any unofficially Labour sanctioned doxxing of mners (not miners, a/c!) which potentially puts me at risk, is his line in the sand for leaving the party. :)

Even older men care when it's "their" women.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 24/01/2018 16:08

What about officially sanctioned doxxing?

BeyondWW · 24/01/2018 16:09

That too Grin

Maryz · 24/01/2018 16:10

Those Emily Howard videos were very prophetic, weren't they?

doctorcuntybollocks · 24/01/2018 16:12

Andy was a pioneer of transableism.

LangCleg · 24/01/2018 16:16

Wes Streeting has just been very dismissive and weaselly word-y to Lisa Muggeridge on Twitter.

Battleax · 24/01/2018 16:21

Andy was a pioneer of transableism.

True.

Between Life of Brian and Lityoe Britain I'm scared to death to watch comedy now. I don't want to know the future Smile

“Free the Wolf”? Does that not constitute dead-naming?

Speaking of the attempt to purge uppity women from the party, Linda Bellos is apparently the Grand Dragon of all the witches.

"that opinion being pro trans which you don’t necessarily get from Pink News"

Actual pmsl!! 😂

BeyondWW · 24/01/2018 16:43

"pretty obvious that the intention of the TERFs campaign of harassing Lily with transphobic hate is to go as far as to drive her to committing suicide, because the ultimate objective is to eliminate all trans people from the planet one by one if need be."

Oh dear goddesses above! 😂😂😂

"Infiltrated the Labour Party." What an immensely cheeky little pip squeak Ms Botha is. Shock Theae women have been in the party for lifetimes.

I'm increasingly thinking ageism is part of the motivation here.

EmpressOfTheSpartacusOceans · 24/01/2018 16:52

chchchch on a very ranty TRA blog post someone linked to earlier, it seems that the (some) TRAs have Caroline Lucas pegged as a possible TERF, along with Jess Philips.

Isn't that Caroline Flint, not Lucas?

Battleax · 24/01/2018 16:53

Oh no not a pipsqueak. A bloke in lipstick. Of course.

BeyondWW · 24/01/2018 16:54

That's the long game these terfy types are playing, battleax.

Infiltrating the Labour Party in advance when these blokes were still (being washed with oestrogen or whatever) in the womb...

AngryAttackKittens · 24/01/2018 16:55

Nasty wimmins, infiltrating a party they've been in since before this person was born.

RedToothBrush · 24/01/2018 16:55

that blog piece isn't as crackers as the labour get a grip with your transphobia part 2 one.

It’s very simple & so I’m not sure as to why people don’t get it, particularly people who are members of the Labour Party, what KKK/Nazis are to Jews & Blacks, TERFs are to trans people (particularly trans women), at best they want there to be some kind of apartheid regime against trans women which would entail trans people not being able to use the same facilities as cis women, at worse TERFs would in fact like to exterminate all trans people off the face of the planet, so the question is why the fuck is the Labour leadership tolerating TERFs preaching transphobic hate amongst the Labour ranks?

Battleax · 24/01/2018 16:56

Well nothing like advance planning 🙄

It threw me though because it's a Tim with a sensible name. Most of them opt for stripper names.
