Just ventured into the terfisaslur website and the whole site has actually given me chest pain - my anxiety has sky rocketed.

They really hate us don't they? I have never been hated before like this ( I know it's not me personally but it's my beliefs).

I am a left leaning woman of fifty with a lesbian daughter and I am scared for her and all women and girls. I used to be on the 'oh let them be who they want to be - we should respect everyone and help them' but fucking hell this is an onslaught..... it feels like we are at war and our womanhood is at stake.

Fucking shitting bastarding bollocks

My chest pain is improving now

christinarossetti I was referring to how the person conducts themselves. Arguing their position in a manner that is forceful. The quality of the arguments or position they strongly assert is another matter.

So a forceful manner, with possibly nothing of substance to say, JANAB?

I see what you mean. Good example, thanks.

I absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt hate TERFs. I don’t think you’re feminist, I don’t think you’re radical

Umm.

So you hate trans-exclusive... what? just women?

I'm a woman. I'm only a woman in that I'm biologically and recognisably one. So, I guess my womanhood excludes transwomen. Go ahead, hate me for it, but I can't see that 'existing as female' is actually a crime yet.

Lancelottie · 13/12/2017 09:16

And I'm sorry that I can't see a transwoman as being female, but I just can't. I cannot see any reasonable definition of female that would include me and her.

There are plenty of other, inclusive definitions I'd be happy to use that would cover me and a transwoman -- friend, colleague, parent, good laugh, teammate, fellow MNer, whatever. Just not 'woman', otherwise I don't know what 'woman' means.
