She's taking a Twitter break for her mental health because of the level of abuse she's receiving. She's a teenage girl, FFS - and even if you think she's a teenage boy, in what world does a 19 year old deserve this amount of bullying?

Perhaps Labour will bring in a pledge of allegiance for new members joining where you have to stand and solemnly state “transwomen are women”. Any suspect members will be called in for re education and to publicly make the pledge.

My university has just released a statement of support for Lily. I wasn't going to link it as it's where I attend but I've recently name changed. There are also campaigns for more gender neutral toilets on the main campus, which funnily enough me or my peers (or both genders) do not want.

I've said many times I don't give a shit what people want to wear, and I'll address them by whatever name or pronoun they prefer, but I'm so uncomfortable with what's happening at universities across the country.

Ha, 'identify as black'? Maybe I will get in touch with Momentum - I actually have blond hair, blue eyes, very pasty skin, a British name and have not been subjected to racist slurs.

But yah, me and the man in that picture are totally the same. Our 'experiences' might be slightly different but I totally get what it's like to be him.
