Irish referendum - abortion - should men vote?

Fabulous news. Finally a referendum in Ireland to decriminalise abortion. About bloody time.

But should men be allowed to vote on an issue that is about controlling rights, freedoms and bodies of women?

I don't think so. Very interested in thoughts.

Those posts were to the two posters who had a go at me.

I am so angry you just do not have a clue to you?

Thank you so much OkPedro Flowers

I've just realised I meant to say The argument which works for me is the foetus has less rights than the woman rather than what I posted earlier.

I didn't see the deleted posts but I did not "have a go at you". I argued against you.
I don't know your circumstances and tbh I don't really care to. This is not a theoretical debate, this is peoples real lives you are having opinions on, so educate yourself.

Now, I'm away to the Annual March for Choice with my repeal jumper and placard, if anyone would like to join me?

Imagine having such disregard for anyone else you belittle them and "don't really care to" know anything about them. How hideous.

existentialmoment · 30/09/2017 10:52

Yes, it does. It says that you and your deleted comments (so I presume personal attacks) are not relevant to a very important issue that affects millions of women.

This is life and death stuff.

Why don't you tell me what your deleted comments said about me then and why I should care to know anything about you?

NoLoveofMine · 30/09/2017 10:53

Ah, "life and death stuff". I know plenty about life and death, thanks.

NoLoveofMine · 30/09/2017 10:54

I can't say what they said as they'd be deleted again. The parts which may not have warranted deletion were that you were very quick to attack and belittle me without knowing anything about me.

BertrandRussell · 30/09/2017 11:08

NoLoveOfMine- I reported your posts because in a "mothery" way I thought you might regret them in the morning. I'm sorry- I was obviously wrong.

existentialmoment · 30/09/2017 11:10

Could you maybe start a thread about your own issues? I'm sure you'll get lots of attention.
This is about the basic human rights being denied to millions of women in a modern democratic country. It really is not about you.

I would say the right to life is the most basic human right of all. Something women and girls don't seem to have in any country including the UK.

For goodness sake NoLove do you really think you're the only poster to lose loved ones?

Your loss is tragic but not relevant to this thread and expecting other posters who don't know of it to not disagree with you is a bit much.

NoLoveofMine · 30/09/2017 11:18

Except I was posting about abortion in a similar manner to many others when some posters chose to have a go at me specifically. But yeah alright.

NoLoveofMine · 30/09/2017 11:19

Read the thread up to where I first posted (having been at school all day and just saw it when I got home), then see how I was the only one making certain comments who was attacked.
