I'm Jenni Murray too.

I think the world is going mad.

karry says it better than I could and I agree with her points.

I'm very worried for my girls and the world they are growing up in.

Loveandtrust · 05/03/2017 22:56

I'll also email wh regarding my support of jm.

parklives · 05/03/2017 22:58

Thanks from me Jenni Murray!

CourageCamille · 05/03/2017 23:00

I'm with Jenni too - thanks for the email link.

Couldn't agree more. I'm Jenni Murray.

venusinscorpio · 05/03/2017 23:07

How disturbing to learn there are such a large number of misogynistic hate-fuelled bigots on this forum.

You goady disingenuous person you. You know full well that mumsnet has a lot of gender critical posters, I've been on threads with you before. You're not Jenni Murray.

iremembericod · 05/03/2017 23:08

I am so pleased she has spoken out and am horrified that yet again women seem to have no right to free speech on such a fundamental matter.
That said, I think that a thread on mn and emails to WH are not enough to show support. I think that if we really feel strongly about this we must be willing to put our heads above the parapet and say so on our social media pages and in our own names (and therefore take the risk, as JM has done, of being attached by our friends, family and society) until we begin to stand up for people like JM and Germain Greer without the protection of anonymity on mn we are not really being Spartacus.

I totally agree with you on this and funnily enough Jenni has allowed me to take a stand today. I've been very cautious showing my 'terf' views but Ive shared the arse out of Jenni's interview today

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 05/03/2017 23:09

As somebody who personally supports trans people- In real life, not just hypothetically- I think Jenni's article is very well reasoned.

You cannot become a woman. You either are a woman or you are not. You can present as a woman. Genetically you are not a woman.

lakeswimmer · 05/03/2017 23:14

Well done Jenni for speaking out. I've emailed WH too.

Cooroo · 05/03/2017 23:32

Email sent.

LevantineHummus · 05/03/2017 23:36

Another Jenni here. And emailed.

venusinscorpio · 05/03/2017 23:38

I've never seen anyone advocate mandatory genital checks on mumsnet!

That poster's pants are on fire.

ExitPursuedByJenniMurray · 05/03/2017 23:39

Way to go Jenni.

2rebecca · 05/03/2017 23:43

Thanks Jenni Murray, and Germaine Greer.

talkingtoclarry · 05/03/2017 23:46

thedogsitter · 05/03/2017 23:49

Well done Jenni - you are my hero for doing this xx

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 05/03/2017 23:51

Thank you Jenni Star

MeMyself1 · 05/03/2017 23:56

I'm Jenni Spartacus Murray too!
As she's getting so much online hate and many of us are commenting about how we are silenced from expressing gender critical views, perhaps we should all complete this survey for the Fawcett Society? (oh, the irony!):
