The link is a big collection of how many trans activists responded to the women's March.

I must admit, I've had a good chuckle at some of these!

Fuck sakes. It gets worse

More whining about pussy hats

CoteDAzur · 24/01/2017 22:16

"I am reminded of my assigned gender at birth"

Who gives a flying fuck? Hmm

So women aren't allowed to talk about their genitals because it offends this special snowflake? I don't think so.

venusinscorpio · 24/01/2017 22:29

Bla bla bla, yes I can perhaps live with the idea of a vagina as a symbol of womanhood, but first women need to make some changes in how they speak so as not to offend me me me me!

Don't think so mate.

SpartacusWoman · 24/01/2017 22:49

Wearing pussyhats, or chanting about vaginas, lays out a hierarchy based on genitals that is exclusionary and painful.

The blogger seems to only feel that way when it's women wearing the hats, they were offered one and wore it for the March.

If the writer finds the hats upsetting as its a reminder of what they don't have, I really don't get why they would wear one and take part in what they see as excluding and cause pain to their fellow Transwomen, or is it only offensive when it's an actual woman wearing it?

Italiangreyhound · 24/01/2017 22:51

Mercy actually I quite liked this one theestablishment.co/how-pussy-hats-made-me-feel-excluded-and-then-welcomed-at-the-women-s-march-ef11dae19c54#.bpabq2wic

apart from the moaning and the pointless "I think it’s easy to forget that trans women exist and have political needs beyond bathroom bills. Some of us medically need a quite literal pussy."

If you think you need a pussy stop griping about those of us who have one!

MaryTheCanary · 24/01/2017 23:05

Did you see the photo of "trans dykes" wielding rainbow-colored baseball bats?

Italiangreyhound · 25/01/2017 00:37

Janet Mock mentioned sex 'work'.

motto.time.com/4640713/janet-mock-womens-rights-march/

It all sounds so nice and inclusive about sex 'work' but in reality prostitution oppresses women and I don't think any women would want women who are involved in prostitution not to be included in a women's march.

EmpressOfTheSpartacusOceans · 25/01/2017 05:48

Janet Mock romanticises prostitution for trans teenagers as part of an [[http://janetmock.com/2014/01/30/janet-mock-sex-work-experiences/
"underground railroad"]].

As for the "trans dykes" and their baseball bats, my first thought was "How phallic."

In the hierarchy of genitals the vagina is not at the top.

venusinscorpio · 25/01/2017 07:03

They just don't get that, do they?

Gallavich · 25/01/2017 07:17

No! How did we get to a point where women are apologising to people with penises for having vaginas?

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 25/01/2017 07:20

Baseball bats at a march - lovely, bringing a symbol of violence to a completely nonviolent march. Hmm

DameDeDoubtance · 25/01/2017 07:27

The whole movement is openly narcissistic.

Seriously, we are being Single White Femaled!

Just when you think you have no more peaks to climb, bam, another one comes along.

Beachcomber · 25/01/2017 07:56

The self absorbed cluelessness of this comment is quite astounding.
It speaks volumes about how little awareness these people have of female oppression and woman hating.

A hierarchy of genitals! Pah!

Nearly right but just oh so wrong. It's a hierarchy of REPRODUCTIVE CAPACITY and it's called PATRIARCHY.

Wearing pussyhats (FFS) and chanting are not how it is maintained however.

usernonsense · 25/01/2017 08:02

"The whole movement is openly narcissistic." Agreed. Part of me wonders if it is secretly promoted by psychiatrists to fill their pockets and exploit confused people for research. half kiddding

it reminds me of the aggressive father movement, which has achieved that dad's rights are considered over and above the needs of women and children. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-38719709

A victim of domestic violence was assaulted after a social worker twice disclosed the address of her safe house to her abusive ex-husband, the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire show understands.

"Ivy", who was considered by police to be at high risk of being murdered, was at the safe house with her children.

It is claimed the social worker believed it was the husband's "parental right" to know where his children were.

Men's wants trump women's needs even in the 21st century Sad.

Gallavich · 25/01/2017 08:19

Just to note - that social worker was acting very much against policy and procedure and from their own bias there. There isn't an institutional dismissal of the safety of women and children in social work.

Italiangreyhound · 25/01/2017 09:53

Is the social worker being sued? I fucking hope so. I used to think no win no fee lawyers were such ambulance chasers!

But I think they may just hold the key to pushing back against areas where women are bullied (against any bullying) and where the official systems just do not care.

MercyMyJewels · 25/01/2017 10:57

Gallavich

"How did we get to a point where women are apologising to people with penises for having vaginas?"

^^This sums it up perfectly. And women are doing it too. And those who refuse are judged to be 'bigots'.

It's fucking ludicrous!

EmpressOfTheSpartacusOceans · 25/01/2017 10:59

Of course there's a hierarchy of genitals.

Anyone with a vagina is expected to defer to anyone with a penis.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 25/01/2017 11:35

Bigot has become the new word for a woman who stands up for herself.

CoteDAzur · 25/01/2017 11:39

"Anyone with a vagina is expected to defer to anyone with a penis."

Oh we were always expected to defer to men but now we are even expected to defer to people with penises who claim to be women Angry

QueenofallIsee · 25/01/2017 11:55

Yet more evidence (as if we needed it) that Transwomen must be central to ALL debate or they are being subjected to, you know, actual violence. I mean who gives a fuck that women are being literally attacked minute by minute when the dick being not female and not on a homemade sign makes you FEEL attacked.

Fuck the trans agenda - fuck their eradication of lesbianism from debate, fuck men trying to tell me how I am allowed to feel and a massive FUCK YEAH to the womens march

Twogoats · 25/01/2017 11:58

I wonder how they feel about the 95% of females in Sudan who go through FGM? Do they think that they should stop fucking complaining too? Angry

Women are disadvantaged in our male dominated society because of their female biology not because they happen to feel like 'women' Hmm.

Women's biology the fact that we get pregnant, give birth, have generally a smaller physique compared to men, that we have breasts to feed infants and vaginas for a range of functions is why we have specific needs and vulnerabilities compared to men people without these biological factors. Now transacts say we must not mention our biology so they don't feel marginalised and have to face that no, they are not female, they are men who dress in women's clothes and 'feel' like women but they are not biologically female.

Transacts could have positioned themselves as promoters of women's rights furthering feminism and empowering female human beings rather than demanding that women ignore their vagina, breasts, uetrus, period, hormones, to spare the feelings of the trans community.

Gallavich · 25/01/2017 12:08

The painful thing about many of those tweets is that they were written by women who have made themselves 'allies' to TAs and therefore participating in their own oppression.
