I caught the tail end of a discussion about this case on Law in Action, Radio 4, between ?Joshua Rosenberg the presenter and Alison Saunders from the CPS. Did anyone hear all of it? Will try to listen again.

Yes, and no surprise, she does not support a change in the law following the Chedwyn Evans acquittal re: s41.

Totallymyownperson · 05/11/2016 22:30

Why is it that when someone is found guilty beyond reasonable doubt people and press can say they are innocent but when done is found not guilty by reasonable doubt no one can say they disagree with the verdict.

SomeDyke · 17/11/2016 10:17

According to the BBC:

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-38007467

they plan to have a review of the Section 41 whereby details of a victims sexual history can be introduced in court.

Which is the least we can expect, and if nothing else keeps his name in the headlines...............

Reminds me to stay off social media today, his gurning visage makes me want to spit.

Totallymyownperson · 18/11/2016 20:20

Now even Karl Massey giving interviews about it. He says he wants to give the woman a hug - just another PR move. I think his realised his help in getting acquittal has impressed anyone. Maybe people are boycotting his business. I hope they are money is the only thing these people care about

Move on tell - that to his future father in law. Didn't think he would start doing interviews especially a month on.

Shockingly, no.

Evan's is a disgraceful scuzzbag. Even if what he did didn't meet the legal definition of rape, he still treated an intoxicated woman like a wankbucket.
