Yes, it was pulled for a while. The warning it's getting pulled and MNHQ's response is near the end. The thread seems quite effectively killed at the moment.

It was suspended, but rather than just suspend posting, they deleted it while it was being looked into. Until that point there were maybe two deleted posts?

I've just posted in the wrong thread. Just to say I had considered writing to the Principal but did not want the risk of my letter or details being passed to Wells. Given my own professional profile I could not risk it.

I've been considering a letter, too, but I am also concerned about it getting wider distribution. I am an Edinburgh alumna from the US and have responded in a modest way to fundraising campaigns here because for me the university was a life-changing experience in every positive way imaginable. It is sad to think that it might be considerably less so for many women who are there today.

FFS. MNHQ is being far quicker to delete threads now, I have seen far worse less to stand. And yes there is a definite pattern if threads being deliberately detailed, and then ending up deleted.

I went through that thread shortly after it was reinstated. There were only about 10 deleted messages (pretty much all Special's, if I'm remembering correctly) - this was after MNHQ went through it with a fine tooth comb. I simply don't believe there was that much misgendering going on (and why misgendering should be so much more terrible a crime than calling women cuntscum, I fail to see). I suspect something funny has been going on behind the scenes. I wonder how long it will be before this thread pops up on someone's radar.
