Obviously (or so I'd previously thought ) - conception happens due to both parties participating , male and female. If either partner is very adverse to having and taking responsibility for a child, then they should take personal responsibility to ensure this does not happen. For a male this would involve insisting on using his own condom (to be sure it wasn't tampered with). Although the poster with the aversion for "dick covers" was pretty hilarious

As for rape, I think it's a pretty disgusting and dangerous assumption to make that rape is due to men being "wired differently" , or the women being drunk or scantily dressed or walking alone at night. These myths really need to be blown apart. Along with the other common one that still holds true as far as I can tell from conversations with those around me in general - that your husband/boyfriend cannot rape you. Rape is soley the fault of the perpetrator, and the only way to eliminate rape is for RAPISTS TO STOP RAPING.

It states that aA condom can usually hold one or two tins of baked beans (this is my fact of the day) and condoms get weaker when they've got 500ml of water in them.

These guys were able to get 7 gallons in one condom.

I will probably never stop being a feminist, even if true equality and equity is achieved. However, I'd come a lot closer if rapists were actually convicted of their crimes at a rate that was on a par with other criminals, AND served sentences that demonstrated the seriousness of the crime.

Also: Just for any of the 'rapists are sick men who are wired differently' people - try reading this. It might help enlighten.
