Thread prompted by one in AIBU ...

? Women's performance is always evaluated separately from their appearance.
? Women are proportionally represented at all levels in government.
? Half of all CEOs are women, matched equally with men by corporate worth and reward packages.
? Women are proportionally represented at all levels in the judiciary.
? Women carry equal weight in the military and law-enforcement services.
? Half of all wealth is owned by women.
? Women's fertility is not given as an excuse for their disenfrachisement.
? No woman is blamed for her own rape.
? Mainstream pornography does not promote violence against women.
? Mainstream media do not promote the sexualisation of women.
? No woman is expected to tolerate violence against her person.

That'll do for starters.

As a free extra: I will accept that men's rights movements have equal validity when ...

? All of the above.
? Men accept full responsibility, of all kinds, for all of their children, as automatically as women do.

We seem to be really having a go at men on these threads and it's Christmas.Even the troops in WW1 had ceasefires at this time of year so in the interests of balance and harmony i'm going to say some good things about men!
Firstly, they do all the dangerous jobs - if you look at statistics for workplace deaths it's always men.Secondly, they pay all the child maintenance.Thirdly, some of them (apparently) need extra large condoms.I could probably come up with some more points but i've been drinking.

WilsonFrickett · 27/12/2011 17:41

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 27/12/2011 17:41

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 27/12/2011 17:42

my DH is helping DS out with his maffs homework, while I Mn and drink sherry Xmas Smile

lollygag · 27/12/2011 17:43

I forgot one - they always play the hero in the summer blockbuster - apart from that film 'Miss Potter (but that was shite).

PamBeesly · 27/12/2011 17:44

I'm pregnant with a son and he seems to have been considerate enough not to kick me to shreds last night and I had a decent nights sleep, but considering he is still in utero that doesn't count, right? Grin

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 27/12/2011 17:46

it counts !

and what about the bloke that impregnated you ?

that little swimmer came in kinda useful

< not that we even need a male partner, these days >

WilsonFrickett · 27/12/2011 17:53

Mine has just popped through to moan I didn't buy the right kind of envelopes, so I withdraw previous post in favour of the gender Xmas Hmm

PamBeesly · 27/12/2011 17:57

mwahahaha....yes he is a good sort I suppose, when I'm heaving in agony he just looks at me and says, 'don't worry we will never do this again' ...note the 'we will' HC he seems to know his part in it all, he has a grasp of basic biology you see... Hmm
He does look awfully guilty when I'm crying out in pain...I don't think I've lifted a cloth in our house in the last 7 months...I never have too but we both see this as normal, he can't gestate so he does everything else. We work together too and he goes into work everyday so I don't have to if I don't want to. I do feel so sorry for those who have to do everything when they are so tired and sore, its just not right

lollygag · 27/12/2011 18:00

wilsonfrickett - you haven't grasped the rules.Moaning about envelopes clearly doesn't negate always taking the bins out.Haven't you played Top Trumps?

WilsonFrickett · 27/12/2011 18:06

But but but I thought wifework was Top Trump? Maybe my brain is just wired differently?

lollygag · 27/12/2011 18:11

Remember, men don't give a xxxx for wifework apart from the cooking - they can live perfectly well in complete squalour ( in fact i think they prefer it!)

ElfenorRathbone · 27/12/2011 21:53

You know, men with REALLY ENORMOUS dicks, know that there are condoms made that fit them comfortably.

It's only men who don't have big dicks, who imagine that men with really big dicks can't get a condom on.

Just sayin'.

OnemorningXmasCockMonkey · 27/12/2011 22:20

yy Elfenor. [happy memories emoticon]

OnemorningXmasCockMonkey · 27/12/2011 22:21

My DH (former scout dib dib dob dob) has told me that a condom will hold a bathtub's worth of water, which is why they are issued to troops.

How big is his pee pee?

Ah lovely dh came home from work to find me pissed with my mate under the weather, he took DCs with him while he dropped dsd home and the. I disappeared to bed while he found the house again :).

I hate dong bins - that's his and ds1s job.

AyeFartedOnSantasLap · 27/12/2011 23:07

Was the large-condom focus group pissed when they came up with "dong bins" as the brand name? Grin

WilsonFrickett · 28/12/2011 00:26

one morning I have had wine. Really?
