Hahaha shah . He's an idiot, (particularly if you consider the fact that biologically boys are weaker than girls. Male refuses are more likely to die in utero and make infants and under-fives have a higher mortality than females)

That fact doesn't mean I cannot comment on her name My point wasn't that people shouldn't comment, it was they should have picked a name less likely to make negative comments. The overall tone of my post laid the responsibility for the child at the parents door.

I applied your logic of no 'name less likely to attract negative comments' to the names of Adolf and Jack. Can you see what I did there? I made the assumption that your point would apply to all names not just the names on this thread.

Pan I am always on the lookout for evidence to back up my 'David Beckham is a tool' hypothesis but I shouldn't really be commenting since I've not read the article.

It's a petty example, but it does pain me that girls and boys are parented differently from the word go. This sort of unthinking nonsense from a v famous person just reinforces the stereotypes.

I thought that as well OP. All newborns are delicate FGS. They are already pigeonholing her as different and weaker than their boys. Whoever said boys are born with 30% more muscle - does that mean you slung your newborn boys around like a sack of spuds? because I remember mine feeling pretty delicate, myself.
