Since it looks like the first chat thread is about to fill up, here's the next one all ready and waiting.

Think of it as the gated commune with babysitting on demand and gorgeous poolboys serving the drinks :o

I hope I was there Alice. On the AIBU book thread I once claimed to be swanning about in Hepburnesque satin pjamas although I am too bottomy and it is too breezy IRL to do this and I would like to think that this is how I appeared to you. Grin

Unrulysun · 26/02/2011 20:45

I thought that people had two reasons for finding feminism frightening on that thread:

  1. they had been here and thought it was intellectually challenging, which I can understand completely because I'm quite bright and much of it's beyond me. (Luckily I am also shameless :) )

  2. they say we're all harpies which means they probably haven't been here or have just to say 'get a life' and got told to piss off.

I thought some of you were very welcoming :)

Unrulysun · 26/02/2011 20:53

Of course Aviatrix. We can get halfway through Proust, realise that we're not really cut out for that kind of thing and go for cake instead Grin

Blimey have just seen all the new threads - it's all go in the commune tonight sisters. Better put out more sun loungers and an additional Fire Exit :)

SGM if you have so far missed Milwall FC as a part of British culture I don't think there's a poster here who is heartless enough to lift that particular veil :)

FlamingOBingo · 27/02/2011 11:46

I cannot keep up with this thread!

I've got a book about doing a PhD! My FIL has lent it to me Smile. I am very excited!

Yes, it's that one, Engelbert. I keep reading bits that make me go 'ooh! I could actually do this!' Grin
