Thanks! It's taken about four years from starting the manuscript to seeing it published. When I joined Mumsnetter as a blogger all those years ago, my kids were tiny. Now they're grunting pre-teens. Anyway, hope you lovelies enjoy it in between wiping sticky kid-gobs and mashing food. Sometimes it's nice to read about a character who can get out of the house, stain- and push-chair free...

As for getting it up the free chart, I've just been very lucky that people have RT'd my link on Twitter or shared on Facebook. I already had some great reviews from the paid chart and had appeared on several book blogs with guest posts. I've spent days and days approaching book bloggers and asking them to review. But most of it is word of mouth, TheCountessofFitzdotterel. Good luck with your publishing endeavours!

Actually one thing I am noticing is that you are very positive and enthusiastic about your book and it makes me want to read it! It's very easy to be too self-deprecating, I think!
