Hello fellow mumsnetters,
Have you downloaded your copy of "The Girl Who Wouldn't Die" yet? It's free on Amazon this week and is currently #1 in the free Kindle charts. If you like a great page turner in the style of Jo Nesbo and Stieg Larsson, this could be for you.
I don't want to spam the list, here, but I wrote the sodding thing and it's FREE and GREAT and a 5* read, according to reviews. Do fill your boots, ladies. Think of it as my little treat for you. Oh, and there's a heroine who could teach Salander a thing or two about being kickass.

Thanks so much FlameAlluvium. If you get a moment, would you mind leaving a quick review on Amazon for me, please (if you haven't already, of course)? I'm ONE review away from 100 and I've had the shittiest day imaginable. That would make me smile. A lot! Thanks for feeding back. x

Haven't quite finished it yet but I've pre-ordered your next two, OP.

It strikes me that one very important reason why I mostly avoid this genre is the prevalence of sexualised women victims and I really appreciate the fact that you haven't gone down that road.

I so want to see this done on tv now! It would adapt absolutely brilliantly.

Horrormoanal1 · 12/06/2015 16:59

Thanks so much for that, TheCountessofFitzdotterel. Yes, I'm personally sick of reading about women as victims, rather than as empowered beings. The Girl Who Wouldn't Die has very fabulously been shortlisted for a Dead Good Readers' Award in the most exotic location category. If you get 30 seconds and are happy to do so, I'd really appreciate your votes, fellow Mumsnetters. Hope this link isn't taken down: www.deadgoodbooks.co.uk/exotic-location-award2015/

Finished and written you a short but enthusiastic review. Now waiting eagerly for the next one.

Voted. Well done, you!

Thanks so much! VERY much appreciated. Not long to wait until "The Girl Who Broke the Rules". As for the award, I'm up against some behemoths, but you never know. From little acorns and all that...
