RECIPE!

Just had this for tea and it was easy and gorgeous.

Stir fry some scallops in wok oil (only a bit) with a clove of garlic and some fresh ginger.

Take 'em out when they're nearly done.

Add some shredded spring greens, chopped spring onions.

Whack the scallops back in.

Shove some soy sauce on.

Stir fry for about two minutes.

Serve with rice.

LARVELY.

DD2 has a chest infection. Her temp was 40.5, cue me (with coldand fever myself) trying not to FREAK OUT, applying drugs and taking her out etc etc, NOTHING WORKED> to hozzy, chest full of shit she only just got over an ear infection ffs.

Had to go to sainsbo's on way home as all other chemists shut, 1o minute wait for scrip and it was na hour past tea and I was HUNGRY but I bought some cheap broccoli and some milk and nothign else.

Got to till and someone had left a Fry Turkish Delight (food of the gods) sitting on the conveyor 'Is this yours' says the girlie
'NO TAKE IT AWAY!!'

I think she thought I was disturbed, it would have been so easy.

My whole WEEK is ruined as can't swap kids with mate tomorrow and thus get half day to exercise, can't send DD2 to nursery on thursday and get another free day, and no playgroups so her and me stuck in house all week. Great.

Washing machine is now fucked broken. DH washed dog's blankets and towels so am sure the filter is just clogged. But can I get the sodding thing out? No. Did this happen before? Yes. They came and fixed it. Now is stuffed again. Cue another snotty message to landlord. And what will happen when filter comes out? Water everywhere. Again. I have had enough water!

Basement stinks of damp. Walls are wet up to about 18 inch mark. Wooden door frames are black at the bottoms. Every time I move something I discover that 'cleaners' yesterday didn't move it so it's still wet. Aargh.

Am having wine. No soda. Just wine. So there.
