Aaaaaargh! If I lose then gain this same bloody, fucking half a stone once more I will bloody scream!! Lost half a stone before Easter. Two weeks of kids on hol from school, no exercise and eating like a piggy and it's back on!

NO MORE!

Went for a 30min run today and am going to do a food/exercise diary on this thread to keep me focussed until I learn some new habits that stick!

I am 10st 12 and want to hover between 9st7 and 9st10 so a bit to lose, but mainly some kind of stability instead of yo-yo diet/binge hell!

Feel free to join if you are in the same boat!

So today:

Breakfast: Activia yog and an apple
Lunch: Big salad with ham and cottage cheese
Snack: Steamed brocolli
Dinner: Rice noodle and tofu salad

Lots of water to drink.

Optional extra snack if I am munchie later - vanilla yog or cinnamon ryvita with a cup of tea.

Exercise: 30mins run + 100 sit ups

Feel so much better already - living on mainly biscuits and wine is NOT good for me

Didn't need any extra snacks last night

Plan for today:

Breakfast: Activia yog
Lunch: Big salad with tuna
Snacks: fruit/carrot sticks and cream cheese
Dinner: veggie lasagna with salad

I may go for a run this evening - bit achy from yesterday at the mo so will see how I feel

Hi Livvy & welcome well done on losing 10lb already!

Going well today - as planned and lasagna made and in oven. If DH is home by 7pm I will go for a 30min run while it cooks. If not I will run tomorrow morning.

Me and DH have a rare night out on friday so am going to be good all week and have fri night as treat night although i will still make good choices at the restaurant - no creamy sauces or pudding. Will be drinking though

I can't face 30 day shred - running and sit ups are my exercise favs especially now it is so sunny and lovely out

OP posts:
twinkle183 · 20/04/2010 19:44

I might start running again, I know this would allow an occasional treat! I think staying active and eating less is the key to my success!!!!

simmo39 · 20/04/2010 21:44

Ha! I found you, can't hide from me
Can I join too? Twinkle and I were getting a bit lonely...

RSNK - your food list is looking good, keep going you can beat the yo yo!

TBB - 5 DC's wow that is amazing, that must keep you soooo busy!

I am still weighing in on a Friday, had a naughty couple of weeks and the loss has slowed but hoping this week it will pick up again. Still doing my Golower diet and so far 12 weeks in and 37 lb off .....

redshoesnoknickers · 20/04/2010 22:04

Hi simm - glad you found us! i was too to carry on the other thread after bingey easter but it did make me realise some sort of consistency and a gradual loss is going to be better for me.

I went running this eve virtuous and had yummy healthy dinner - no other snacks polishes halo. Off to bed soon as am knackered from the running!

OP posts:
redshoesnoknickers · 20/04/2010 22:05

By the way Simm 37lb off is ammmmazzzzing! How much more do you want to lose if that is not too nosey?

OP posts:
Ivykaty44 · 20/04/2010 22:09

do some weights not just the cardio and you may find then that you stop yo yoing and actuall stop the weight you want to. By all means up the cardio but match it with weights

redshoesnoknickers · 21/04/2010 07:29

Thanks Ivy - what sort of weights? I am not joined to a gym so is there any set of simple weights exercises I can do at home?

Plan for today:
Breakfast - activia yog
Lunch - Big salad with hummus
Dinner - Baked potato with tomato and mozzerella salad
Snacks: fruit/rice cakes

Have a good day all

twinkle183 · 21/04/2010 09:45

Honestly Red shoes if you want a weights program get this 30 day shred its fab... I am on day three and am absolutely sore on my arms that I can't even lift a hair brush without saying... ouch!!! But I know it is worth it as I will have a fab looking body at the end of it...!!

I am still carrying on with weight watchers but have fallen off the wagon and managed to gain 2lbs but I did loose 7lbs in two weeks so gaining 2lbs is not so bad so am completely focused and off for a long walk with a friend up St Bees head!!! Am gonna love it!

Will do 30 day shred later also and finish my essays.. gonna be a busy day but have woken up with a sense of determination!!!

Come on girlies we can do it!!

Simmo39 was so glad you found the new thread we were lonely on the other one weren't we!!!

livvylouis · 21/04/2010 10:46

Hi ladies, well yesterday went almost as planned, didn't have melon and yog for snacks may have accidentely had a hobnob instead .
More focused today tho!

friendly7 · 21/04/2010 11:15

Hi ladies, livvylouis suggested I could join you. Do you have a room to squize me in? Well, I need a bid space as I'm a big fat big belly lazy so and so.. Can I join you?

Squidmission · 21/04/2010 11:35

Can I join here please?

I'm doing 30 day shred too for exercise (waves hello to fellow shredders )

I weigh 10st 10lbs at the moment and need to get down to about 9st 7lbs.

I love the weather at the moment as the sunshine makes me cheerful and want to stick to my diet but its still cold enough to wear some kind of coat!
I'm dreading the hot weather and not being able to hide in my cardis and coats.
Actually no I'm not! I'm going to lose that stone and a bit and look really good in summer clothes

food plan for today;
2 chicken sausages, baked beans
tomato soup, ryvita
salmon, salad
snacks are yogurt and satsuma

redshoesnoknickers · 21/04/2010 12:51

Hi friendly and squid - course you can join! Nice to have you

I'm having a good day so far - the 30 day shred thing scares me...i might go and have a look at the shred thread and see if it can convince me to try it!

OP posts:
twinkle183 · 21/04/2010 16:00

I have been for a beautiful walk for 6 miles up St Bees head and round to the lighthouse! I haven't managed to do the shred yet but I will later I promise....

I have been really good with food today and am not hungry at all.. I have managed to drink 1.5 litres of water so far.. so will keep going...

livvylouis · 21/04/2010 16:20

wow twinkle 6 miles and the shred, you're hardcore .
Not got round to any exercise yet today but will later I promise!
So far today i've had

1/2 piece of marmite on toast
2 large slices low fat pizza
1 slice of melon

Gonna have bulgar wheat for dinner when I figure out what the heck to do with it.

I'm going to try and only weigh myself weekly from now on coz I think i'm getting obsessed and hopping on the scales everyday, not good!

twinkle183 · 21/04/2010 16:24

livvylouis your not the only one.. so am throwing the scales out and am only gonna get on them monthly from now on!

Thanks for the hardcore comment am touched... just hope it removes some of the fat!!!

livvylouis · 21/04/2010 16:32

Monthly sounds good, not sure I can resist the temptation I may have to move them out of the bathroom.

Squidmission · 21/04/2010 16:45

I have to weigh in daily to keep on track.
If I weigh myself every morning, I seem to be more focussed during the day. I'm either happy so I'm motivated to carry on or annoyed so am extra good.
The times when I've gained weight is when I've stopped weighing myself and so have buried my head in the sand.
Horses for courses etc

I'm getting that urge to snack to biscuits so have just had a satsuma and am having a cup of tea.

I need to stay strong and think about summery clothes

I've not shredded yet but will do so once the kids are in bed.
