Hello all, congrats on those being noticed (especially su, being commented on my kids, very impressive)

Aitch, ahve always wanted ot know if colin and justin kept that evil fake baby damien they 'adopted' for a programme, made me proper blub that.

Don't have long, been naughty and had half a dinner roll for lunch witha slice of cheddar, was lovely but don't need anything esle so not so much biffy as wrong foody. Got makings of tomato and basil soup in oven so am going to have that for tea instead.
leave a nice clear link to new thread, am offski until tonight, must bath DD's so am going to get them filthy first in the garden. Fingers crossed for rain as it means I can stay inside on laptop...

BudaisintheZONE · 28/04/2010 13:38

The chicken sounds nice Cheese. Must try that. We are having salmon tonight. DH will come in and ask what is for dinner. I will say salmon. He will have a face like this - . When he has eaten it, he will say, 'that was OK, I don't mind salmon like that'. Happens every time!!!

Jack - are you making sure DDs are dirty enough to warrant a bath?? DS will be. It is dirty knee season. First day in shorts this year!

JackBauer · 28/04/2010 13:56

Buda, I know DD2 is, she needs a hair wash, which only happens once a week if I can get awya with it but she has so much soil and sand in her hair she looks like she has nits.

CheeeseOnToast · 28/04/2010 14:26

Wow Jack! I just had a nosy on your profile and your cake skills are amazing! Your DDs are gorgeous too.

EricPicklesFatNeck · 28/04/2010 14:28

jackbaur your wee girl has gorgeous hair, what are you going to do if she does get nits?

AitchTwoZone · 28/04/2010 15:01

oh dear biffed out on shortbread, sent c&j home with the rest. it's their 25th anniversary today so dd1 made them a card with 'a boy with yellow hair holding hands with a boy with brown hair'.

YoginiBikini · 28/04/2010 15:26

what amazing hair your dd has Jack

I also love the making the most of the grime/bath situation

Aaaah! to the anniversary card Aitch (show off!) Bet they were chuffed.

Took ds to the sweet shop and felt very saintly as I smiled the floral gums and sports mixtures and sherbet pips in the face, thinking Will It Make Me Happy? No way jose.

Yes they would have!! I've changed my mind now and am trying to scrounge a strawberry bon bon off ds. Will it make me happy? Let you know

fishie · 28/04/2010 15:40

25th! they don't look old enough.

m&m and cheeese i used to live near london fields too. now i am further east where it is cheaper but the running is good.

EricPicklesFatNeck · 28/04/2010 16:38

get you aitch with your celebratory biffing! 25 years! they are teh perfect match

EricPicklesFatNeck · 28/04/2010 16:40

celebrity biffing i mean

Themasterandmargaritas · 28/04/2010 17:12

celebrity and celebratory biffing, that's impressive.

Twenty five years is remarkable. They must have got it together when they were minors young.

AitchTwoZone · 28/04/2010 17:18

hahaha. 17 and 18, m'lud. all perfectly above board.

JackBauer · 28/04/2010 17:27

Am also at 25 years, my maths can't make it work, they were either very young or have disgustingly good skin, the bastards lunch so didn'

Have biffed a bit, have MN meet for picnic toorrow and had puff pastry to use up. Made pesto and cream cheese spirals and cheese and mustard twists, biffed 3 cheese twists, no spirals.
Had a small (like an inch) bit off the end off DD2's cheese mini baguette at lunch so didn't have planned stirfry, just had an apple and satsuma.
Made roasted tomato, onion and basil susoup for tea as well, vyer Mmmm

DD2 has had nits, I didn't notice for ages as her hair is so thick, spotted them on DD1 first. I have a bug busting kit, nitty gritty is useless on her hair, but I use neaarly half a bottle of conditioner to comb it out, and then she looks all weird with stupid flat hair, she looks a bit like princess holly.
Girls both bogging, ice lollies, sand, earth and water, lovely.

BudaisintheZONE · 28/04/2010 17:52

LOL at working out if C&J were illegal!!! They do look bloody good on it!

Poor you with the nits Jack. And she has fab hair!!

Soup sounds yum.

EricPicklesFatNeck · 28/04/2010 17:57

i didn't biff today! maybe i am tettering on the brink of the zone once more. sadly my nemisis 11 4 is still taunting me.

noddyholder · 28/04/2010 18:00

I bought a packet of those marks fake tortilla chips eat well or something BUT I ate teh whole bag Won't be having those again I am safer with no crisp type things at all!

ZoneArmatrading · 28/04/2010 18:04

branflakes and raisins
5 prunes.... you know.

soup (nasty, from tin) 4 corn thins, 2 rye crispbread.

Oatcake and small bit cheddar.

Salmon and salado.

Not very inspiring but worthy. Noddy, I am the same, give me an inch and I'll nom a mile.

Oh part of salado was nice. Grated beetroot with bit of honey and lemon juice. Yum.

ZoneArmatrading · 28/04/2010 18:06

Buda my DH same with salmon tonight. Not normally fish fan. Quite happy with nice soup now too. He's stopped thinking of it as diet food and enjoying it with whatever bits he wants to add.

JackBauer · 28/04/2010 18:06

I wasn't rtyint to work out if they were illegal, have no clue about age of consent, just how old they are if they got together in their teens. So in that case, they have disgustingly good skin and are bastards

DH and I got together when we were 17 and 18, 25 years is impressive as you do all your 'growing up into adults' together ahh

Yes, nits was not good, she hates anyone doing anything to her hair, every morning nw I spray it with water and then chase her round the house witha t shirt to scrunch it whiel she runs off shouting 'no, NO, mummy, leave me ALONE' or her favourite 'GETOFFGETOFFGETOFF it's MY hair'

I want to know if Yogi's bon bon made her happy.
I had a flyng saucer the other day, yes, it did make me happy, and a bit woozy from all th sugar too!

BudaisintheZONE · 28/04/2010 18:09

LOL at GETOFFGETOFFGETOFF it's MY hair!!!

noddyholder · 28/04/2010 18:10

Gorgeous hair!So sweet looking. My ds has similar hair(on profile ) but he is pita and riddled with headlice

BudaisintheZONE · 28/04/2010 18:15

OMG! DS is eating pesto pasta!!! He is a fussy bugger and told me he has is at school sometimes and likes it. So I suggested it for tonight and he had it. He was concerned it wouldn't be as nice as 'Istvan's' (chef at school) - cheeky! He has eaten it!!!!! Yay. Another choice for dinner for him!

cocolepew · 28/04/2010 18:18

Dinky (think it was you who asked what course I'm doing?). None is the answer, I'm a CA in a Special school.

I was told today I didn't need to lose any more weight. They're soooooooo jealous .

noddyholder · 28/04/2010 18:18

That is great buda!Such a worry when they won't eat certain things. My ds is dyspraxic and we have had nightmares over the years with textures although pesto pasta ok here too!
