I thank you. I am attributing the weightloss to eating less and better and the fear factor of having to post on here what I ate. The toned butt is all Jillian.

Blokes were fat, luminously pale and hairy. In God' name I ask you why shorts? On a freezing day? Don't they have womenfolk at home saying "you'll look like a twat if you go out, you know".

dinkystinky · 21/04/2010 14:22

porridge - given your description of the blokes, I rather suspect they dont have womenfolk at home to give them sartorial advice!

ZoneArmatrading · 21/04/2010 14:34

LOL porridge.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 21/04/2010 14:38

Dinky - there is someone for everyone and they need to find someone. I was almost traumatised!!! Put me off viewing DH in a favourable light IYKWIM.THEY HAVE A LOT TO ANSWER FOR.

jenduff · 21/04/2010 14:52

Wow two zone babies!

Don't these things come in threes usually?

dinkystinky · 21/04/2010 14:54

Maybe you should give them some sartorial advice Porridge - will help them find someone quicker and save you more trauma in the long run....

geordieminx · 21/04/2010 15:29

Hey loosers!

Another 1lb off here - making 10lb in 2 weeks. Despite sharing mcnuggets and chips with ds and 2 glasses of wine for end of term night out.

Hows this for torture.... I am currently making Nigella buttermilk cake, knowing that I wont be eating any of it... grrrrr

Tis ds's 3rd birthday next weekend so we are having a trial run. Will send cake into work with dh tomrrow - an office full of blokes who's wives never feed them - they are like fucking gannets.

Fantastic news porridge!!!

Hope things are starting to look up for you JB.

Am crossing fingers that flights are sgtarting to get back to normal now - as we fly a week on sunday, also hoping I can get 5lb off between now and then... although I cant see that happening unless I have an amputation

dinkystinky · 21/04/2010 15:52

That's graet work Geordie - you'll be looking all slinky for your holiday. We did Nigellas chocolate cake for DS1's 3rd birthday last year - he had 2 parties so had to make it twice - was lovely but calorific. This year we're wussing out and getting him a M&S race car cake for his party on Sunday....

geordieminx · 21/04/2010 15:59

tbh he doesnt even bloody like cake, and we arent having a proper party as we will be in Tenerife... bad mummy.

My parents, sis and grandad are all coming up from Newcastle, so we'll be going for lunch, then home for tea and cake.

He wants a Waybuloo cake, so am making the cake and icing it, then lovely MN'er is making the characters not that I will be telling my mum that

Have heard good things about nigella choc cake but I wouldnt be able to royal ice it would I?
