Aaaaaaaaaaah have COMPLETELY fallen off wagon.

But how much damage can you really do in two days? Back to rights tomorrow, but would be rude not to fit in full roast dinner & crumble tonight, wouldn't it

cyb · 04/04/2010 19:04

stirling I'm not sure but having eaten bread tonight for the first time in nearly a month I'm convinced I've gained every pound I've lost

well done rowing nomdeplume.i ran 5 miles this morning so hopefully all isnot lost today

cocolepew · 04/04/2010 19:05

3000-3500 extra to put on a lb, Stop it!

duckyfuzz · 04/04/2010 19:06

have just weighed and am pleased to report no gain since thurs - no loss either but given the gluttony no gain is great news, I'm glad I'm not the only way straying from the zone

coco we are having a london trip starting on thurs this week, v grateful for lack of train strike now. I used to work for the london tourist board (about 15 yrs ago ) and am so excited about it

duckyfuzz · 04/04/2010 19:08

bread is the devil's food cyb, how I will cope with our holiday in france this summer is a mystery to me

3500 cals is what you have to cut out in a week to lose a pound, i.e. 500 a day, so stands to reason that's what you eat to gain, but gaining seems to be so much easier than losing....

cocolepew · 04/04/2010 19:10

Have fun ducky I hope the rain stays away. I'll expect an update on trip.

duckyfuzz · 04/04/2010 19:16

thanks coco, am having wardrobe dilemmas, its cold up north, presumably less so down south, what to pack?!? southerners please advise!

YoginiZonini · 04/04/2010 19:23

Happy Easter to all Zoners and non - zoners.

I am so not in the zone today but will put myself back there tomorrow.

dinkystinky · 04/04/2010 19:39

Am getting back in the zone today - restrained with cold turkey salad lunch thing and am having no point curried veg soup for dinner tonight. Though need a couple of glasses of wine after DS2 has been on a teething rampage since 2 this morning...

Coco - how old are your DDs? NHM is good but I quite like the science museum as has more interactivey stuff (and I have two loon sons so is nice not to be yelling at them not to touch every 3 seconds). V near each other - and you're pretty close (walking distance) to Kings Road to have a few shopping accidents.

Cyb and Bobbie - sympathies on the PMT. Get some medicinal red wine (just a small glass wont hurt) and a square of dark chocolate (only one mind) into you.

dinkystinky · 04/04/2010 19:41

ps ducky - have a great trip. Tis still a bit nippy down in london so bring layers.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 04/04/2010 19:45

Going to see MIL on Tuesday/Wednesday in London - DS1 loves the Science Museum - and Dinky is right - they have loads of hands on stuff which is great.

Have booked to go on the Eye - is it worth it?

Only shopping I will be able to get is IKEA but there is a Space NK on Chiswick High Road where MIL lives .

dinkystinky · 04/04/2010 19:50

Porridge - last went on the eye about 4 years ago but thought it was quite good, if slow, as was a clear day and could see for miles and miles. Hope its a clear one when you go up in the eye. Suspect will be good being on there with kids as they'll get quite excited about being up.

Chiswick High Road has a few other nice shops doesnt it? DH and I looked over there when we were looking to upgrade to a house (ended up going for a slightly less western and hideously overpriced area) but remember being impressed at the local high street offerings (including the Space NK).

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 04/04/2010 19:58

Thanks Dinky. Not a big fan of Chiswick tbh -but the High Road shopping is quite good. Often go out there with the boys when we need a breath of fresh air (MIL is a chain smoker although she does smoke outside when we descend). Have to say shopping is not DS1's idea of a good time!
