OK, during the last thread I managed to lose the grand total of...nothing in fact I am a few pounds up [sigh]

Have lost maybe an inch from bust waist and hips so that is something I guess, but I will not be in the same position at the start of the next thread. Sazz Someone give me a stern talking to

there is a skipping station on the curves circuit but I always did something else through fear of lamping on my face

Sazz - not sure this is the right place but your Rose fruit juice is on 3 for £10 in Tescos. I bought DH some brie today as he now has a taste for the finer things in life too

hotterpotter · 15/04/2010 20:36

LOL at 'slipping rope'

I too love camembert although am a bit of a philistine and prefer it jeune

Hotsy thanks! Believe me I need no help in being boingy no matter how sturdy the sports bra!!

Slipping / skipping is meant to be amazing, it's how boxers train innit, stamina, nimbleness, quick reactions, etc.

GreenGardenia · 15/04/2010 21:05

And boing of course.

hotterpotter · 15/04/2010 21:13

VG I know what you mean re boinging bosoms, my sports bra is no good and I will have to resort to tying my bust to me with a scarf if I am really going to do skipping...

Ladies, with my rather ample bust I can recommend this I have little or no bounce at all, comfy and soft, I wear it alot even though i'm not running anywhere (except the loo)

hotterpotter · 15/04/2010 21:28

We do have a sports direct in Leeds and I am off that way after work tomorrow so will have a look. Need to think carefully what size I am now...

Yes me I got weighed and am now 1lb above my starting weight still got one week to go though haven't I?

Been good with food for last three days and started ExerSazzing again today with a 1km swim at lunchtime, plus will be having a brisk walk of an hour or so when I go shopping after work. Slightly scuppered by a colleague giving me the profiterole tower from her M&S £10 dinner but as long as I share it with DH and the DC it won't be toooo bad

Good cycling Sazz. What's 20km...12.5 miles, good effort

I weighed & am -1lb from beginning of mini challenge which am well chuffed with considering am still pathetically exhausted. I have to remind myself that Ive still lost 20lbs since I started this & if I can just be sensible throughout this I'll be happy

luckoftheirish · 17/04/2010 07:37

morning ladies i'm back ..

will not mention the horrible week away but i have lost 3.5lb... so only another 3lb to go

They only had 7.99 bras in our sports direct and none big enough for me so will have a go with my scarf instead

Sazz you are right it's time to get serious again I went shopping for clothes yesterday and it was just depressing , not helped by the fact I remember all this stuff from the 80s and didn't really want to wear it then, never mind now.

Dizzy to get to 12 weeks and be -1 is AMAZING see if you can do it again over the next 12 weeks...

Loti sorry your hols were grim but yay for your silver lining

managed 20km in just over 30 mins on bike at lunch.. so back on the wagon exersazz so to speak.. feel totally exhausted tho and have yet to brave the ritual saturday afternoon swim with the girls whilst dh at footie..wish me luck!!!

dizzydixies · 17/04/2010 14:18

ROFL - not bloody likely Hots, remember I have >10lbers [meep]

GreenGardenia · 18/04/2010 19:47

Bonjour think I have been subconsciously avoiding the thread...

Anyway did an exerSazz today in my 10K run, 1:06 which on the negative side is slower than I did last time, but on the positive side kept my heart rate up for longer I suppose!

Have been reasonably good on food front etc but haven't been as hard core as I ought.

Wait now & I'll have a look at yer stats.

Events of yesterday lost me 4lbs dipping me under another stone mark however I believe the minute I rehydrate I'll be back up! Never mind, was nice to see if even once!
