OK, during the last thread I managed to lose the grand total of...nothing in fact I am a few pounds up [sigh]

Have lost maybe an inch from bust waist and hips so that is something I guess, but I will not be in the same position at the start of the next thread. Sazz Someone give me a stern talking to

surprisingly i have lost 3lb over the last 2 weeks (which was a lb gain, so any loss was going to be welcome). have lost my first stone (15lb to be precise).

I so should not have lost as have not be overly good, but i think my body has become somewhat educated and bad is not as wholly "sod it i will eat anything and everything just because i feel like it" bad as it was 3 months ago. . do i make any sense?!

GreenGardenia · 10/04/2010 20:12

Great news albs! Well done. I did think you looked great at Miamla's by the way, I don't think I said so at the time, or perhaps I did. Fantastic!

We experimented with a family run today - ds2 in sport buggy, us running, and the larger of our two dogs. Was quite successful over 6K, ds2 happy, but my dreary old heels vv sore so I ended up walking at least 1K, not so good. Have a 10K race on Sunday next and feeling a bit nervous tbh - though heart & lungs are fine.

Arf nope I am here.

Waaaills though. Fed up, headachey, not thin enough and fed up with boobs which for unknown reason have been swollen & sore for last couple of weeks . In fact without going into it too much I think there may have been a reason which is not here any more .

Feel crap but haven't discussed at home.

Pah shouldn't even really post this.

Yes we will - have just been ships-in-night last few days, you know the way it can be.

Anyway, I am the optimistic sort about this kind of thing.

Glad you liked the pics I especially liked the group shot, but your place is so picturesque.

Taking the 2 boys swimming and dog walking when I pick up ds1 at 2pm (yikes - now!) and doing a Pilates class tomorrow am. Will try to run on Friday, then have the 10K on Sunday but no way have I done enough preparation. Am using Oruvail on heels and will pop Nurofen before the race! Oooh I feel like an elite athlete with all these injuries, embrocations and drugs!

Thanks Sazz xx

hotterpotter · 14/04/2010 16:04

Oh VG sweetie what a bugger that is.

You know we ALL look FAB in the photos, we have come so far in the last year or so. Obv sazz has come further than you & me VG but we are still gorgeous!

Good luck with the running...

just popping in, am -8 of the 11 week challenge at the moment, so not sure that I will make the -11 as am eating lots of chocolate and it is raining. But still feeling happier with what I weigh (a stone lighter than when I started) so maybe will leave it here for a bit.

VG how sad. Good luck with the run.

Well done sazz.

Went to pilates class but got called out with 15 mins still to go cos ds2 unhappy in creche.

Pah.

Oh well I am definitely running on Sunday! So is ds1, there's a children's race on first, 2.5K.

Bright side: I certainly won't have tired myself out with overtraining before Sunday.

hotterpotter · 15/04/2010 19:32

No ExerSazzes for me this week but I did avoid the Tunnock's wafers at work so a teeny bit of progress has been made.

I was walking in to work this morning behind a lady with a rather fat bottom and it made me remember 1. how far I've come but also 2. that I am not as thin as I want to be yet and if I don't buck my ideas up I will be sliding backwards even more and that is not good.

So, will be off again with the old ExerSazz tomorrow starting with a swim and maybe getting some skipping in too as biking didn't seem to be cutting it.

VG good luck with your run; hopefully it will be a lovely Spring day and all the sap in the air will make you extra boingy and fast

Sazz

Well I have made chocolate mousse for pudding tomorrow and licked the bowl -clean-- so will have to swim extra hard to make up for that. The driving to work isn't helping either, that's an hour's walking I don't do, although I save a fortune from not getting to the shops...
