OK, during the last thread I managed to lose the grand total of...nothing in fact I am a few pounds up [sigh]

Have lost maybe an inch from bust waist and hips so that is something I guess, but I will not be in the same position at the start of the next thread. Sazz Someone give me a stern talking to

Well done everyone for active days so far :) I have taken DS swimming for the first time in aaaaaaaaages, so much soggy fun was had. Going to make myself a salad once he's in bed.

VintageGardenia · 07/09/2010 12:51

OOh sounds rather punishing crispy, go for it! Grin

Back to gym today after summer break, grooooan the old body says. I ran for 20 mins and for fear of heart exploding left it at that. Was only 3k. Shock amazing how quickly you lose it. (Fitness I mean, not weight!)

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/09/2010 13:10

Yay for cycling, swimming and running - you 3 should set in in Triathlon Grin

I have just shredded level 3 . However i fear it will be a while before a shred enters the triathlon world Hmm

hotterpotter · 07/09/2010 20:35

Bizarrely cyteen I just noticed in the radio times that rita sue & bob too is on next week! Haven't watched it for years but if I do will think of you ;)

No shredding yet today, time got away from me at lunchtime. Psyching myself up for it now... Have done more than 13000 steps though, and parts of the house and the outside of the car are sparkling Smile Just don't look inside the car BlushBlushBlush

Another shred done, that's 6 in the last 7 days [proud][knackered]Grin

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/09/2010 14:58

Ran 5k and 15 minutes on powerplate before going to my tax course this morning

I definitely feel slimmer and 'firmer' this week, so the scales had better bloody reflect it on Friday. No daily weighing for me so i really have no idea

Well done on the shreds Hots, pretty impressive Smile

How you doing this week VG??

VintageGardenia · 08/09/2010 16:47

Hello there. Well I was busy this morning meeting the lovely (and supersuperslim Shock) loti and her little ones, so didn't run, but shredded later on. Good with food but still feeling pretty sluggish tbh and HAULING the zip of my jeans up Hmm. Day trip cancelled tomorrow so will get run in a.m. Legs feel "used" today after only 3K yesterday, PATHETIC.

Steamed cod for dins with soy, sesame, garlic, ginger & spring onions yummy yummy yummy, and going to watch dp do a 5K in the pishing rain.

Well done on your multishred pots and your rather swotty run BEFORE school Sazz! Grin

hotterpotter · 08/09/2010 21:26

loti is indeed a slim jim, I don't know where she is hiding all those extra lbs she wants rid of... Wink Glad you got to meet up you two.

Well done with your exer sazz and good luck with shred tomoz VG. I have shredded again tonight (7 in 8 days) but calf being jippy (gyppy?) so couldn't do jumping jacks or butt kicks and had to 'skip' for all those bits. Will have to dig out the deep heat.

Definitely not feeling any less wobbly and scales haven't shifted since Monday am despite all this activity and no biscuits. Trying to remind myself that my losses seem to come the week after I've been good so maybe a 5lb-er next week... [no chance!]

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/09/2010 22:14

ok, so i had to drop the DD's off at 8 at the CM's and then not in Bristol till 10, not worth coming home so really i had no choice excuse Grin

hots be careful with your calf as you don;t want to be laid up . Can you swim this week instead?

Well done on shredding too VG and good food. I can feel losses for us all this week Smile

VintageGardenia · 09/09/2010 08:49

LOL at laying up. She's right though potster, when I had my Achilles problem it was incredibly frustrating not to be able to do any exercise so mind your pins.

Hope you are safe home today lotster! You are v.v. nice.

CrispyTheCrisp · 09/09/2010 11:50

Grrrr, made the mistake of jumping on the scales this morning. Ok there is a loss but not as big as hoped, especially with me feeling 'trimmer'

Ho hum, muscle heavier than fat and all that......

Just been shopping and bought some new Circulon pans (55% off in Debenhams) and had to run through town with them as my car parking was running out. Am calling that my exercise for today, plus hopefully a walk to preschool this avo

Very Envy of the Oirish meet. Love all you hotmamas Smile

luckoftheirish · 09/09/2010 15:36

I'm back!!!! Lovely meet up yest vg Smile and she does look super fit!!!

After our walk with v, had another walk to feed the ducks and another walk this am.. that combined with two horrific trips in airports transporting dds means tonight is definitely wine night tonight!!

Will weigh tom but not hopeful Hmm

CrispyTheCrisp · 09/09/2010 16:32

Ran to preschool as I was late Blush. Looked like a right loon with an empty buggy bouncing all over the place Blush. Walked back at more sedate pace, but was pushing heavy child

LOTI - definitely wine o clock for you lady

VintageGardenia · 10/09/2010 07:38

I am minus three today which should have me leaping about but to be honest I am still so upset about being +7 last weekend it seems like nothing and making no dint. I was reading about coffee the other day & has some fat retaining crap in it, am thinking of cutting down to one really nice cup in the morning and nothing after that. Better for me generally, regardless of weight.
Alternatively am seriously considering a one or two-week detox of some sort - water and fruit and veg or something - anyone know of anything like this?

Ran 3K (I know, I know, I must be careful not to overdo it Hmm) yesterday & off to walk the dogs a looooong way after school run.

VintageGardenia · 10/09/2010 07:39

AND my shred dvd is damaged Hmm. Is this Jillian's way of telling me to buy her new one? Keeps stopping mid-butt kick or something, is very aaaaaargh.

hotterpotter · 10/09/2010 07:56

Oh VG I know what you mean, it goes on so esy and takes so long to come off Sad but you are nearly half way back to 2 weeks ago so fingers crossed for the same again next week and for the next 10 weeks... Like the idea of living on raw veg and water for a week with lots of meditating etc but in reality would be clawing at the cupboards for a biscuit within 36 hours Blush

I am down 1lb which is piss-poor too considering the amount of shredding I did and the amount of biscuits I didn't eat Hmm. Oh well, not losing focus yet and hoping more does come off next week. Am a bit scuppered by exercise though, leg still stiff and now shoulder really sore too Shock so no swimming either. Am having yesterday and today off shredding and hoping the rest'll heal me enough to start again tomorrow.

Sazz I thought you said Circulon panTs and wondered what was so imopressive about running with them Grin

CrispyTheCrisp · 10/09/2010 09:44

I'll join you in the misery corner too if that's ok? From the way i was feeling i was hoping for a good loss, but no, was 3/4lb Hmm. We did go out to a carvery for tea yesterday to say thankyou to my CM and i did have a yorkshire pud and a couple of roast tatties, but surely that shouldn't scupper everything

However, i think we should focus on the next 7 days and if we can make them good then we WILL all see results. I have walked/run to preschool & back (2.5 miles) and now have 2hrs housework to do before pickup

luckoftheirish · 10/09/2010 10:15

also joins misery corner, up 1/2lb, after four good sessions on the bike, lots of walking and two manic trips to the airport, running/carryind dd2, big bag and backpack Hmm..

well no more trips for me for a good while so will aim to improve more on the food and try and mix up the exercise.. tho looking after nephew nxt week so won't really get a moment.. night time exercise for me Hmm..

CrispyTheCrisp · 10/09/2010 11:27

Oh and whilst cleaning i have been LOL'ing about Circulon PanTs (and by christ they would be difficult to run in) Grin

VGI like to avoid detox type stuff now as i do believe yo-yo'ing between little food and eating normally does have an effect on the way your body processes 'normal' eating.

Having said that, i have done Atkins, SW, diet pills and the works so you may wish to ignore my holier than thou commment above Blush

LOTI - i think mixing exercise is good. Is there any way for you to get back to pilates as i reckon just a bit of body 'sculpting' and you'll be grand?

luckoftheirish · 10/09/2010 13:25

Pilates would be great crispy but no childcare for at least the nxt week or so! But def want to get back into it!

luckoftheirish · 10/09/2010 19:27

Major diet blow out today Blush promise to do better tom!!! Smile

CrispyTheCrisp · 10/09/2010 20:22

Oh lordy, i have just helped myself to seconds of chilli (which DH hasn't had any of yet as he is in the bath). AIBU?? Blush

hotterpotter · 10/09/2010 21:36

No YADNBU Grin Burger, chips and wine here, yum yum. Love Friday night Grin

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 10/09/2010 21:41

I LOVE you WinkGrin

Obv if i had asked this in AIBU, i would have been flamed Blush

hotterpotter · 10/09/2010 23:46

Love you too Smile
