luckoftheirish · 23/06/2010 13:08

Cardio and abs work out completed 3 down only one more to go this week phew

CrispyTheCrisp · 23/06/2010 13:20

Afternoon. No specific exercise today other than walking five miles on hilly terrain with the double buggy and 2hrs of cleaning . No shredding today, will watch footie instead . Had a couple of beers and a few peanuts at the pub last night, so need to be extra good today

Well done on keeping at it Hots and LOTI, as always, i bow down to your workouts. Glad DD2 on the mend

hotterpotter · 23/06/2010 13:56

Just half an hour in the pool today but was feeling sick from hunger so had to get out 8 lengths early Luckily biscuits now securely locked in the cupboard so will have to have coffee instead

Loti I don't know how you do it

Sazz mmmm beer, a couple won't hurt you I'm hoping to be home in time for 2nd half today, will try not to start drinking...

luckoftheirish · 23/06/2010 19:10

Hots you should never exercise starving hungry!! naughty girl well done tho on your half an hour very impressed

well ladies i did the cardio again when the girls went down.. dd1 did come in to watch.."h" hacking me off so much by text from the pub that i had to vent/channel my anger somehow

CrispyTheCrisp · 24/06/2010 08:30

Good channelling LOTI. I would be drowning my anger in a bottle of vino , so well done you on being more constructive

I have weighed this morning as off to stay with a friend this eve and i think we she is getting a babysitter and we are off to a pub which specialises in pies. My willpower is crap so

Up 0.5lb so ok, but creeping up which i need to halt. Not sure that will happen with big BBQ weekend, but i will be mindful

Special K for brekker and taking salad for zoo picnic so i will start the day off with good intentions

luckoftheirish · 24/06/2010 09:21

Thats that not too bad crispy well done!

Well I have managed to put a pound on every day since Monday so I am now +3 since Monday!! How in the he'll that has happened I have no idea. Have consumed no wine under calories for doing my exercises yeesh..

Last day of the week for my exercise so maybe after a couple of days might get back to where I started

luckoftheirish · 24/06/2010 13:07

Completed cardio and abs workout so that's my 4 exersazzels completed. Tis made sod all difference on the scales tho the reserve in fact

hotterpotter · 25/06/2010 08:44

-2lb this week after moving scales several times so only 2 more to go until I am the same as I was at the beginning of this thread

Only one proper ExerSazz though, a swim on Wednesday Jillian will be cross if when I shred again...

Hope for some more good news for you lovely girls

Eek it was off my threads have been vg this week foodwise, have run x 2 and shredded x 3, another one this after when ds2 conks out I hope. I am still in negotiations with scales

Pots GREAT you're down 2, lots sorry you haven't a better result though can I just say as Daisy Dukes you are one hot mama with a very well defined set of stomach muscles! I know it's all relative though and if you feel you have to lose a few pounds etc it makes a difference to you. I think you are fantastic esp with all the difficulties you are currently facing.

Crispy hope pub pies and bbq don't wreak too much havoc for you, envious of your hilly 5-miler, sounds great! Think we will do a monster walk this weekend.

luckoftheirish · 25/06/2010 10:36

Thanks vg and well done on all the exercise go girl!!!

Well done hots on being -2lb mucho impressed

not so impressive here at all as still +3 ... well am finished my official exercise til Monday so either I will have that post exercise loss or have put on even more by then! Praying not!! Xx

oopsandbabycoconut · 25/06/2010 21:29

Ladies - I have to say how absolutely AMAZING Crispy looks - it is hard to believe she is the same woman I met nearly 2 years ago. She had a fab looking salad for lunch but left her fork at home so very cleverly improvised with a carrot stick stolen fron her DD1's lunchbox. I on the other hand left my lunch at home so had to resort to an heiniously (sp?) expensive crap sarnie and diet coke. We did both however stay away from the ice cream.

My Wii comes back on Sunday so it's all go from Monday.

Well done on all the exercise and weigh lost - you are all doing fantastically. Have made a pact with DH to walk places more with the buggy rather than drive.

CrispyTheCrisp · 26/06/2010 07:48

Thanks oops , and yes I can attest to carrot sticks making edible forks for cottage cheese salad

LOTI sorry to hear of poundage off and on. You say you are under your calories, so just wondered if you are eating enough and your body holding on to the food as it know it needs it for the exercise? Maybe worth going back to the Lord for a bit to recalibrate calories in and out

Well done on the exercise VG and i hope the negotiations with the scales are in your favour

. Keep going on this roll and the pounds will drop off. Go Girl.....

I shall return on Sunday, undoubtedly a few pounds heavier and with a headache, but the middle bit will be fab

hotterpotter · 28/06/2010 08:37

Whoops, forgot to come on again all weekend and the scales told their sorry tale in consequence this morning. Am hoping all most of it is bread-induced but some will deffo be the Camembert

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 28/06/2010 09:31

morning hots,

i too failes to come on over her at the weekend .. typically the scales say i am -1.5lb so at least have lost half of my 3lb gain last week!!! cannot understand it, i seem to gain weight daily when i am exercising and when i have a few days off seem to lose!! help me out on this one lovely ladies xx

CrispyTheCrisp · 28/06/2010 21:18

All i will say is that we had a BBQ weekend and i enjoyed it rather too much

Swam 40 lengths today and pilates this evening but i fear it will take more than that to remove the spare tyre which has taken up residence

LOTI, i don't know the physiology of it but i would guess that your body is holding on calories/water as it thinks it needs them for all the exercise. If i were you I would sit on my arse for 3 weeks until I reached goal weight [unhelpful]

CrispyTheCrisp · 29/06/2010 07:27

Just logging 10.4 1/2 before i chicken out in denial. I think that is +2. Oops

hotterpotter · 30/06/2010 22:40

Oh we aren't doing very well at checking in are we... Have been necking bread all week but doing quite a lot of walking, although no shredding (sorry Miss Jillian) and will miss Friday's weigh as will be camping {grin] Hoping lots of walking while away will counteract the icecream

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 01/07/2010 06:59

i've been lurking .. have do no exercise at all apart from walking every day with dds .. also either have a water or kidney infection so another lame excuse to take things easy!

will weigh in tom and see if crispy was right ..

have a fab trip hots and remember you are on holiday so treats def allowed

VintageGardenia · 01/07/2010 07:57

Still alive here.

My preview for tomorrow shows a minimal loss ho-hum. I am thirsty ALL the time at the moment despite absolutely guzzling water, what is wrong with me? I feel as if I've eaten sugar or something, you know that horrible post-pudding thirst?

Will be trying to run today if can get creche, otherwise a ds2-accompanied shred, and if the rain clears up (it's lashing here) we will go out on the bike later. Luckily ds2 seems to really enjoy it.

LOTI you'll want to get that checked out won't you? I mean I know people always say water & cranberry juice but I think perhaps you ought to go to doc, kidney infection can be v unpleasant not to mention debilitating.

CrispyTheCrisp · 02/07/2010 07:01

Up 0.75 (i think) to 10.3. Logging weight on here as i seem to have mislaid my spreadsheet

Hope all good for you girls. Off camping now. xx

luckoftheirish · 05/07/2010 07:03

have been very lax and not been on here in ages and haven't even weighed .. have given myself time to recover from infection and will get back on the straight and narrow soon xx

CrispyTheCrisp · 05/07/2010 21:45

Oi Ladies. Where are you

I know I have been crap recently but you lot should be flying the Hotmama's flag [disappointed]

I am back on the straight and narrow today with ok food, swam 20 lengths and pilates class. Tomorrow will hopefully be the gym but i do have loads of other stuff to do . 7 days to holiday so i need a good week

CrispyTheCrisp · 05/07/2010 21:47

BTW LOTI you have a free pass as you have been ill AND checking in. Well done you.

hotterpotter · 05/07/2010 22:10

Oh sorry I have been bad today, quite bad over the weekend but that was counteracted by walking fecking miles every day. Scales not too bad this morning, may manage a level weigh on Friday...
