OK, during the last thread I managed to lose the grand total of...nothing in fact I am a few pounds up [sigh]

Have lost maybe an inch from bust waist and hips so that is something I guess, but I will not be in the same position at the start of the next thread. Sazz Someone give me a stern talking to

Hurrah - shredded instead - Level 3 (15/30). half way

Had a bit of a moment though when doing rockclimbers (only wearing a sports bra as no clean t-shirts ) and realised that i have two pouches of skin which just hang down over my tummy and ribs . There are muscles underneath but really not sure what i can do about these. Well, other than surgery and i'm not up for that just yet. Any other suggestions, oh wise ones?

luckoftheirish · 18/06/2010 13:39

crispy well done on your shredding.. nae exercise for me today too worried about dd2 .. she has been really upset at nursery today and i had to go make and feed her some lunch so at least she would have eaten.. only positive on all this is no appetite ..

dh is going as a gladiator ..

no idea how to lose that excess skin but you have lost a hell of alot of weigh over the last year so i guess it will take time to shrink down.. that is probably why the scales are you heavier that what you are

dizzydixies · 18/06/2010 21:22

feck knows about the skin sorry I won't even think about mine

I was 6lb up on lowest but from this morning am 4lb up. Still crap but its the right direction again

CrispyTheCrisp · 18/06/2010 21:37

LOL dizz, have filled the excess skin with chinese, beer and red wine . LOTI my neighbour has told me that it will be gone in 6 months. I wish to God i could believe her. Sadly I am not religious

Yay for the right direction

oopsandbabycoconut · 18/06/2010 22:47

Crispy - I have told DH I am expecting a tummy tuck for my 40th birthday - as having his kids caused all the stretching!

No weigh in here as I am waiting for a friend to return my Wii which she borrowed 6 months ago

Keep going ladies

dizzydixies · 18/06/2010 23:03

Oops, the night after mum passed my dad informed me he'd pay for my tummy tuck if I lost the weight - in the same breath he turned to my brother and told him that his money was safe as I'm too fond of my food

hotterpotter · 18/06/2010 23:05

No Dizzy,

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 18/06/2010 23:11

ah Hots, we'll give him some leeway here due to the fact he was off his scone on some seriously big drugs, whisky, red wine and his wife had just died

it's his warped sense of humour

hotterpotter · 18/06/2010 23:20

You can forgiv him if you want matey but I am still going to be at least one on your behalf. I hope you do hold hi to the promise of a tummy tuck when you are very soon a slim jim

I have a similar problem to you Sazz, I was leaning over and breathing in yesterday and noticed how my three separate tummies were hanging down and it was GROSS . Wondering whether I should ask the doctor about stomach separation as mine has not joined back and it's not attractive

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 19/06/2010 07:12

too for you dizzy.. well done on the lose this week

6 months ought to do it crispy.. reckon maybe you should take a measurement around the area and see how your exercising/diet makes a difference ..

maybe you should check in with the docs hots on the old tummy separation???

well tonight is my daisy dukes night.. so hot pants/tied checkered shirt/high heels/big hair/guns ... thinking about maybe not even eating today as so much flesh on show but feck it!!

luckoftheirish · 20/06/2010 17:29

Just logging on as I promised myself I would report in every day! Have done absolutely nothing today tho did dance in heels for 2 and a half hours last night!!

Feeling an evening of junk coming up as so tired will do better tom

hotterpotter · 21/06/2010 08:51

My excuse is that I have hardly been able to get to the computer all weekend, although the fridge has not been so inaccessible

Starting the week at Friday's weight though so +2 on Thursday which is not bad considering.

Loti you looked amazing as Daisy Duke, and I really don't know where you are hiding those pounds you say you want to lose (unless you secretly have a massive bottom...)

CrispyTheCrisp · 21/06/2010 09:09

I am not going near scales. Pah. Someone please turn my self destruct button to OFF

hotterpotter · 21/06/2010 09:14

Yes but sazzamatazz you are already under your target weight and are allowed to cut loose with the cheese if you want

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 21/06/2010 09:22

Trust me hots they are definitely there and a fake tan does work wonders!

I am starting the week down 1.5 but as what always happens is it will start creeping up

dd2 has a temp so no swimming this am and she is like a limpit so will hopefully DVD it if she has a nap

crispy you have a wonderful ability of melting pounds away so fear not

luckoftheirish · 21/06/2010 12:50

Managed to do cardio and abs section of DVD. Pooped now tho found it really hard today!

alittlebitshy · 21/06/2010 14:37

oh good lord - no idea when i last came on here . not weighed for almost 3 weeks due to various things meaning our weighing sessions haven't happened. i realise now that not weighing means i think i have leeway and i have been atrocious with food. no idea if i will have gained heaps, stayed the same or what... will see on Saturday.

argh.

CrispyTheCrisp · 21/06/2010 22:29

Thanks guys, was just the wobbly belly this morning that caused concern. Have swum 1/2 mile and done pilates class today and food reigned back in

Will try and do a decent run tomorrow after dropping off at CM's to get back fully on track

LOTI, you must be shattered after your weekend of dancing and no sleep. Give yourself a break - you look seriously toned, so a few days break will do no harm

hotterpotter · 22/06/2010 00:33

No shredding today but have walked fecking miles tidying up and am aching like an old lady now. No chance of a lie in as much still to do before valuing guy arrives at 10am so better leg it to bed.

One positive though, am hungry and toyed with the idea of having toast [naughty] but decided to have a drink of water instead

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 22/06/2010 10:30

Hope the valuation is going well hots

Went to go for a run at the gym and there was a big accident on the dual carriageway and massive queues, so i drove home and went for a run up on the (very hilly) Beacon. Managed 5.7k (3.5 miles) in 35 mins which is almost 10km p/h. As i usually run on a flat treadmill at 10.5km p/h i was pretty chuffed

Peeked at the scales which were +2.5 on Friday , but i have drunk loads of water so will hope it melts away

hotterpotter · 22/06/2010 10:42

I too peeked on the scales and was -4 but think one of the feet is broken and giving false readings... May have to buy some new ones today.

Ta for good vibes re house, will bore you all with it once more on t'other thread then shut up about it forever

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 22/06/2010 11:01

LOL, hots i read that as one of your feet was broken and hence weighed less as there was a missing limb

Obviously there wouldn't be a after that if it what had actually happened....

luckoftheirish · 22/06/2010 11:23

Well done on the outside run crispy and so fast

lol at broken foot hopefully the -4 is a true weigh in hots well done

going to try and do DVD again when dd2 naps but as I got feck all sleep it might not happen will report in later

luckoftheirish · 22/06/2010 13:16

I managed to do my abs and cardio workout got a real sweat on so hopefully it's doing the trick! Body feels like it's working out more than just doing the bike which I guess can only be a good thing

hotterpotter · 23/06/2010 10:43

Got some new scales (bargainous £10 from asda for electronic ones!) then managed to fix the old ones... Weigh in was slightly optimistic but am still down 2 so not too bad

Have had no proper exercise this week apart from house blitzing, thinking of a swim today but can't really be arsed. I seem to find though that if I have a good week with loads of exercise and not many biscuits that the weight loss is delayed until the following Friday by which point I have given up and eaten a few cakes thereby scuppering the following week... Need to remember this and keep going.
