OK, during the last thread I managed to lose the grand total of...nothing in fact I am a few pounds up [sigh]

Have lost maybe an inch from bust waist and hips so that is something I guess, but I will not be in the same position at the start of the next thread. Sazz Someone give me a stern talking to

Gah, very bad here but at least posting to admit it . BBQ, drink and out for lunch today. Will do better tomorrow i promise

LOTI - mine is a weekly battle, up/down/level/up/down/level ad infinitum

dizzydixies · 06/06/2010 14:18

having a crap few days and have an unrepressible desire to eat everything not nailed down - I'm not really sure what has been going on, I have some weird bleeding so it may or may not be my period, I've no fecking idea. I put my name down at the local sports centre for a body balance class - if they have enough people they'll start one up so that will boost me a bit

I think I might step off for a few days ladies until I get this hosp appt done on Wed and kick myself up the arse

LadyGardenia · 06/06/2010 16:47

Am here, that is all, no good behaviour to report.

Dizzy I read that as "I might strip off", I was at your daring!

dizzydixies · 06/06/2010 16:57

never know

hotterpotter · 06/06/2010 17:05

Hell I'm back

Quite good yesterday apart from too much wine, but walked miles, mainly packing and unpacking the car Today loads more walking, mainly in the rain, and food not so good as we ate fish and chips for lunch but as that is the law when you are at the seaside there wasn't anything I could do about it

Better go and burn a few more calories unpacking all the wet stuff...

OP posts:
hotterpotter · 06/06/2010 17:06

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 06/06/2010 18:40

hell yeah you're back

CrispyTheCrisp · 06/06/2010 22:14

Hell yeah, i'm here with my stuffed tummy. Will do better tomorrow - please shout at me to shred. Thankyou

hotterpotter · 06/06/2010 22:27

Hey sazz and dizz have had Sunday wine and a bacon butty so not good here but have walked miles which is something to go on the plus side of the ledger. Will see what the post-weekend scales say tomorrow and cry...

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 06/06/2010 22:40

Hots, i think it is the minus side of the ledger you need

hotterpotter · 06/06/2010 22:46

LOL Sazz of course you are right

I have put more than enough on the + side so time for bed. See you all in the morning for lettuce and crunches

Hi all bank hol here - is it for you too? - but I am starting the week TODAY with INTENTION as Jillian would say.

Let's feel fit, lean and strong, it is so much nicer than overfed, underexcercised and whatever the other thing is.

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/06/2010 08:39

Arse. +3 this morning but in no way unexpected.

Will shred & swim today. that is my promise to you. And Jillian

hotterpotter · 07/06/2010 08:57

+3 here too, but am surprisingly OK about that, given some of the Monday weighs recently. Succumbed to wine and bacon butties last night so it's all water retention again I'm sure

Still, I am being good so far today. There is not enough milk for cereal and I would looove some cold toast with butter and marmalade but instead I'm waiting until DH goes and gets some milk Halo

feel like I shredded yesterday - every muscle is aching. Will do it properly today, and also lugging all the camping stuff away will get me a bit sweaty

OP posts:
LadyGardenia · 07/06/2010 09:45

I have shredded under less than ideal circs, i.e. with ds2 dangling off me most of the time and saying "up, up" when Jillian says "down" and generally contradicting everything. Anyway it's done and all being well I might get a run in later.

I find breakfast quite difficult - my natural inclination is either to eat toast and Marmite or nothing at all, in which case I am obviously ravenous by 11.30. So many breakfast things are carby and fatty. I know fruit and yoghurt is an option - any other suggestions?

dizzydixies · 07/06/2010 10:08

oh ffs am +6 fuck it

LadyGardenia · 07/06/2010 11:01

No, not fuck it.

Set a short term goal.

Today, commit to drinking 2 litres of water.

I am doing the same. Mine will be fizzy, I have a feeling it is not meant to be.

Come drink with me.

dizzydixies · 07/06/2010 11:10

does Rose count?

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/06/2010 13:11

LOL Dizz, especially at ten past 11 on a monday morning

Have just shredded level 3 (11/30), with Lucie trying to replicate moves, rolling under me during planks and nicking my weights. On the plus side she did sit on the window sill at one point shouting come on Mummy, go, well done

Am off swimming soon but have to practice technique from my course rather than pounding up and down so less calories expended there. Pilates canx for later as DH away oop North for the whole week

VG, i love pink grapefruit for brekker, or boiled/scrambled egg with salmon or i have special K/bran flakes, which i know isn't ideal but i do find satisfies me

LadyGardenia · 07/06/2010 13:11

For every glass of Rose you must drink 2 glasses of water.

hotterpotter · 07/06/2010 21:25

Just shredded (7/30) at level 2 I'm broken. Couldn't do bits of it, and as I have been doing it barefoot I was slipping a bit on the rug doing the plank stuff but I am actually really pleased with myself Just got to keep it up...

I love the fact youare doing it too VG and sazz, and imagine us scattered across the land muttering at Jillian with what little breath we have left

Dizzy did you actually eat 12 pats of butter last week? No of course not, so most of your +6 will be weekend living and will disappear as soon as you regain the sensible path Don't give up, like VG says it's finding small targets to aim for to rebuild your confidence in your ability to do this

OP posts:
LadyGardenia · 07/06/2010 21:44

Scramblers for brekker are a good bet Sazz, I sort of forget about eggs sometimes. Wait till I get my chickens! Asparagus in scrambled e is a nice alternative to salmon sometimes ... ooh actually breakfast seeming rather appetising all of a sudden...

Hotsy oddly I find I prefer Level3 to Level2, I didn't get on with Level2 at all - hated those twisty-under planky things - and while Level3 is probably tougher or it wouldn't be 3, I choose it! I have only just realised from something Jillian said that you are MEANT to do 10 days at each level wtf does it say that on the box or in the intro? And she keeps saying "if you have followed our workout and diet you will now have a six-pack" but I have not noticed any diet instructions . I still need to get proper weights mine are discs and they are in danger of braining me when I hold them in jumping jacks.

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/06/2010 22:25

You see. I told you Level 3 was better. I stick 2 fingers up at Jillian and her plan and flit between 1 and 3 as i wish. Sometimes i am very naughty and use handweights on Level 1 cardio. Get me and rule breaking

Dizz, Hots is right, it will not be a permanent gain. Just reset and go again. We all have wobbles and probably some self destruct buttons, but it's ok. We CAN all get back on track and hold each others hands along the way .

LadyGardenia · 08/06/2010 11:24

But where do they say that about the method of ten days on each level Sazz? I ain't seen it nowhere and I've been looking!

Right I have had 8 water biscuits for breakfast because there is no food in the house so I am off to do a supermarket trawl of fish and salady things and lovely fruit and some seeds and things and all manner of health-giving fabulosity.

Today we allow our bodies to reveal themselves (erm not literally) and we stop cloaking them in cheese and biscuits.

Water water water and pump the boday.
