OK, during the last thread I managed to lose the grand total of...nothing in fact I am a few pounds up [sigh]

Have lost maybe an inch from bust waist and hips so that is something I guess, but I will not be in the same position at the start of the next thread. Sazz Someone give me a stern talking to

Am going to attempt level 3 shred in a mo once my lunch is settled, hoping that it won't be so bad on my back as level 2. Bought myself some proper weights as DD1 was PHSL at me doing it using squash bottles and kept asking for a drink

hots i did the no alcohol thing in the week for so long when on my weight loss phase and it has slipped from 2/3 nights drinking to 4/5 so i really need to cut it back. I am determined to go to France looking the very best i can, so six weeks of bootcamp it is

dizzydixies · 27/05/2010 13:26

oh cripes is it fri tomorrow already [sigh]

luckoftheirish · 27/05/2010 13:34

hope your shredding level three works out well crispy and looking forward to hearing about your loss tom ..

21km on bike today and hoping for a little loss tom... reckon these last couple of pounds may take a long time to come off!!!

CrispyTheCrisp · 27/05/2010 13:57

Upped the ante to Level 3 shred today and i believe Lady may have been railroaded persuaded into doing it too . I loved it, much more like level 1 just a bit harder rather than Level 2 which was all planks and reverse crunches which all get my back. Think i will alternate Levels 1 and 3.

May walk to preschool to pick up DD1 depending on length of DD2's nap/time to cook dinner and trip to Sainsbo's needed. I have 1.5hrs for it all, what are my chances?

Well done on biking LOTI and good luck with those 2lbs. My lowest was 10.2.25 on 12 March. I am now 10.3. Cripes!

dizzydixies · 27/05/2010 14:01

I don't know why we're bothering, doesn't matter how much we've lost, Oops will have win this week

LadyGardenia · 27/05/2010 14:05

Ouf fark me.

I did indeed do Level 3, I found it ok apart from a couple of things like the "proper" sit-up which I just couldn't do and my legs really burned on some of the squatty things.

Yes am on for Sheeps Head deadline!

alittlebitshy · 27/05/2010 15:12

eek this has fallen off my list too.

i gained 1lb last week . should be better thia week .

cyteen · 27/05/2010 15:31

Ha ha, I introduce you all to the Shred and then promptly disappear into the crisp cupboard. Haven't done much for a while due to the insanity of May, but now that things have calmed down a little I can start trying a bit harder. And hey, now I can drive to the pool in the evenings!

What is this Sheeps Head deadline you speak of?

CrispyTheCrisp · 27/05/2010 15:59

Sorry Cyteen, Sheeps Head was code for when Lady and Sazz family paths cross in Ireland in the summer

Lady, i didn't do fill sit ups, bless Anita, used hers and one set of push ups i did on my knees . Sumo squats were burning i agree

LOL dizz, but the baby only weighed 3oz, no? [head in sand emoticon]. Have you and DH formulated your plan to fitness? Scrubbing floors was a good start

cyteen · 27/05/2010 16:07

Aha, I thought as much. Sounds like we poor left-behinds might have to organise something to take our minds off such a collision of fabulousness

LadyGardenia · 27/05/2010 16:21

Anyone who hits our shores is welcome cyteen!!

Re. shred when I say I couldn't do the sit up I mean I couldn't do Anita's version! The one where you lie out like a corpse and have to roll up from nothing. I can do the legsy ab ones but I think I am missing some essential muscle further up .

CrispyTheCrisp · 27/05/2010 16:30

Am i getting Anita and Natalie mixed up? . I did the arms out ones and they seemed ok

Just for the record that was 8/30

Cyteen - i am very rude and invite myself

dizzydixies · 27/05/2010 19:52

plan at the minute includes lots of salad and floor scrubbing, nothing definite until after tomorrow's appt

hotterpotter · 27/05/2010 21:31

Cyteen how do you think I got to Sazzes?

Am shredded 4/30, even managed the bicycle crunches today Keep forgetting water though, think it might be too late now...

OP posts:
hotterpotter · 28/05/2010 07:55

Anita is the wuss one, I cry a bit when Jillian says 'if you're dying, follow Anita' but I already am

Actually can't feel the workout today, despite my arms burning yesterday, so might raise it up a bit soon. Got swimming today which is the start of a new ExerSazz week, logging 3 official ExerSazzes for last week - a swim and 2 shreds, plus lots of steep hill walking at the beach

Not sure what happened with my weigh in last week, I reported +3 but don't think that can have been right anyway I am -0.5 on two weeks ago and seeing as that includes two weekends of drunken debauchery am reasonably happy with that

Good luck for today Dizzy

Hope everyone is feeling thin today

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 28/05/2010 08:12

well done hots am also -0.5lb down today so only 2lbs to go!! off the the gym today hopefully before a mad weekend which involves a wedding and bil 40th birthday bbq.. mucho wine and nibbles will be consumed

CrispyTheCrisp · 28/05/2010 08:23

Hurrah for Hots and LOTI, am amazingly -5 here, but have been bootcamping. Like Hots, that is in reality -2 over 2 weeks ago (when i drew the line in the sand and promptly went up ) 4 3 mile walks, 1 swim and 4 shreds completed this week . Shreds definitely working and arms and abs more toned. Still have excess pouches on my thighs and tummy

I have now lost 4 stone 1lb . Have FINALLY cracked the 4 stone barrier so very happy. Only 1+ more off and the scales might show 9 something

Swimming all weekend so i am going to let myself off the hook and enjoy the Eurovision carpet picnic. Especially as my alcohol consumption will have to be limited

hotterpotter · 28/05/2010 08:47

Farking hell Sazz that is AMAZING You do so much exercise I am glad to see it paying off. Hoping to not go too crazy with drink etc this weekend and maybe have a good week next week.

Yay Loti to be only 2lb off target! Those last pounds are the hardest to shift (so I've been told...) so that's really great!

OP posts:
hotterpotter · 28/05/2010 09:17

Right, am drawing my own line in the sand. Sunny weather always makes me a bit depressed because I love thick black tights and don't know what else to wear

My new target is to lose 1 stone in the next 10 weeks. That should be doable as only 1 or 1.5lb loss needed per week, but recent form the last 8 () months have shown it's not as easy as Sazz makes it look .

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 28/05/2010 09:56

Hots, i was 1/4lb off my 4 stone target on 12 March. I'm thinking 1/4lb loss in 11 weeks is not so impressive

Hots - Linen trousers, 3/4 length capri trousers (GAP have some nice loose ones) and pretty dresses

hotterpotter · 28/05/2010 10:48

Yes but you are at your target so it's not surprising you are barely losing any more. The first time I got down to the weight I am today was around 22 September Am hoping my body goes in cycles of 4 months loss followed by 8 months maintenance as it's been a year now and time to lose some more

CrispyTheCrisp · 28/05/2010 14:26

Walked 3 miles this morning and just shredded 9/30 Level 3. Man, the cardio was hard today.

Sitting on my bed immac'd up in preparation for my course tomorrow. Off for a swim in a mo before DD2's lesson but think i will do a leisurely 10 lengths and then sit in the sauna and drink water

luckoftheirish · 28/05/2010 15:43

horray for crispy .. only managed 30 minutes on stepper at gym today as havig such a busy day... however 30 mins is all i needed to complete my first exersazz of the week!!!

bet you come back even lighter after your course crispy!!!

hots we are with you all the way to lose that stone girl xx

dizzydixies · 28/05/2010 23:27

well done everyone

I am 4lb up on what was my lowest. had appt with Dr today and can now stop taking my iron tabs and spatone thankfeck so I might actually be able to go to the loo at one point!

she has agreed to allow me to start excercising in moderation - walking and swimming only at this time and she'll review me again in 2wks

apparently the weight gain can be attributed to regaining lost blood, hormone imbalance (which should sort itself out after next few periods) and retained fluid that I still have to loose

line in sand here too, for many things including weight gain

LadyGardenia · 29/05/2010 20:18

great you can do some gentle ekker dizzy.

Am shredded at Level 3. Find it hard. Need a shower!!!
