OK, during the last thread I managed to lose the grand total of...nothing in fact I am a few pounds up [sigh]

Have lost maybe an inch from bust waist and hips so that is something I guess, but I will not be in the same position at the start of the next thread. Sazz Someone give me a stern talking to

Me too

Blaming it on my period though and the wine Maybe the poor solitary ExerSazz had something to do with it...

Walked 3 miles, shredded (level 2) and swam 20 lengths today

Where is Lady?

dizzydixies · 21/05/2010 22:36

I too am 3+ although DH giving me row for being upset about it, he seems pleased that all the spatone/iron/orange juice is doing its job

he is -3lbs after his boot camp though [clever boy emoticon]

managed to do very little today as spent most of it in a car between here and Edinburgh will do better tomorrow

no weigh in for me yesterday as have a horrible dodgy tummy .. think my bicycling around the world has done me in .. will try and weigh in at some point and report back.

luckoftheirish · 24/05/2010 11:05

2.5lbs to go to target which means i have lost 1/2 stones since starting back in jan ..

biking it as usual this week tho not the super sonic way i have been as took fri and sat to recover from my 50km.. thinking more of a 15km today

luckoftheirish · 24/05/2010 15:06

15km completed whilst dd2 fussed in her bed.. no nap today tis gonna be a long afternoon... here have you all gone

CrispyTheCrisp · 24/05/2010 21:00

Yay, well done on the cycling LOTI, i have mainly been sat on the sunlounger . 1/2 stone since Jan is very good. I cannot remember what i was in Jan but i fear much the same as now

Ate and drank too much at the weekend but did push DD2 for miles trying to get her to sleep in the buggy. Twice.

Have been much better today, Special K for brekker, ham salad for lunch & apple and jacket spud with cottage cheese/beans plus yoghurt for dinner

Swam 1/2 mile this avo during DD1's lesson. No pilates as DH late back from work , so shredded this evening instead (5/30)

I have to say i do thing the shredding and pilates is doing good. I can 'feel' all my muscles and when i go to do something strenuous i can feel my shoulderblades clenching and stomach muscles engaging. Hopefully the flabby tummy bits and cellulite will be addressed very shortly....

dizzydixies · 25/05/2010 11:51

I'm five up ffs. DH and I came to a decision last night that once my appts this week are past and I've hopefully got the all clear we'll start up. Eating mainly salads/baked potatos etc didn't eat much at the bbq (apart from wine) and have started walking and scrubbing the floors again so time to start going back down again.

well done on your loss LOTI

special K for brekker here too Crispy and a walk with the dog before dragging her into the parlour for her summer clip! DH and I went for a decent paced child free half hour walk late last night to ease guilt of pic n mix

hotterpotter · 25/05/2010 12:24

Sorry I did not check back in yesterday but was more than a little and [horrified] by the post-weekend weigh-in. Thankfully was dreg-end of period plus pizza water retention and am 5lb (yes 5 ) lighter today, thank feck. Still way heavier than I want though.

Loti well done on nearly reaching your target you have worked so hard your really deserve it.

Also well done sazz on 5x shredding, am still on 2 here although yesterday's planned shred was scuppered by helping my sister move a load of boxes up 3 flights of stairs to her new flat so reasonable workout there, and off to shred in 10 when DH takes DD to nursery.

Dizzy darling don't lose heart, maybe your +5 will disappear like mine did. Once you get the all-clear you and me can bully encourage each other into sustained loss I as seem to be floundering a bit among all these at/close to target girls. Still have 25lb to go...

dizzydixies · 25/05/2010 13:16

thanks Hots, my water intake has been pathetic so will work on that too I'm not convinced the irnbru assistance for the hangover wouldn't have done some damage

I've no idea when to expect a period etc - suppose it will come when its ready

luckoftheirish · 25/05/2010 14:35

dizzy please be kind to yourself atm.. you can go all guns blazing when you have finshed your appointments ..

hots 5lb down.. that has never happened here except for post birth ...

another 16km completed today phew.. not as much as normal but figured i go with the slow and steady wining the race than all hell blazing route

CrispyTheCrisp · 25/05/2010 17:37

Hey Hots, good to see you

Have you got Pilates sorted for the next couple of weeks LOTI to mix up the biking a bit?

Dizz - the +5 will definitely not be permanent and your body is still dealing with loads of hormones and trying to make iron at the speed of light. Good plan to wait until the all clear and then go for it guns blazing. And you are lucky to have your DH doing it with you. Mine sits and eats cheese

Walked 2.5 miles to the docs this morning and shredded (6/30 - Level 2) this afternoon. Level 2 does seem to twinge my back though so may need to modify exercises. Special K, egg salad & worcestershire sauce french fries (only 83 cals) for lunch and prawn salad for tea

Hope Lady is ok?????

Right, best go get DD's......

LadyGardenia · 26/05/2010 07:33

This was off my list that's not a great sign.

Sazz you are level 2 of shred that's impressive, I found some of the moves too hard e.g. the press-up position, knee to opposite side thing- v difficult. I will stay with level 1 until I reach 10 I think which should be... yikes Friday. I am feeling stronger for it too though I have missed running the last while.

hots erm I am not close to target I'll be in the flounderers group as I still want to lose another stone but ffs I seem to have been saying that for a Very Long Time. Well done on your mahoosive loss!

Loti you are nearly there! You vv much deserve it too you have been exercising and good all through a very sad and confusing time which is not easy.

dizzy ducks if you are due in hos later this week for blood tests / results could you ask them about advising you on exercise/diet?

hotterpotter · 26/05/2010 08:03

Oh you guys no need to be of the -5, it wasn't any actual loss, it just got me back down to where I was on Friday after a horrifying weigh in on Monday morning.

Lovely to see you back VG Let's see if we can actually fecking do it this time, with threat of bikini time coming up...eek! I have been hovering around the weight I currently am since bloody October but think Monday's weight may have actually scared me back to sense. That plus the fact my beautiful purple flower dress that you all made me buy was decidedly tight when I wore it on Saturday

Am shredded 3/30 and swimming today.

CrispyTheCrisp · 26/05/2010 08:13

Morning

Walking to preschool in a mo and will shred lunchtime (Level 1)

DH bought me a bikini for Xmas in a decidedly small size 10 and hasn't 'got round' to returning it. I am going to make a big effort to see if i can get into it by our holiday mid july. 6 weeks to trim and tone should be perfectly doable

Lady - do you want to set a target date for your stone? How about by the time of the Sheeps Head meet?

Well done on the exercise already Hots

hotterpotter · 26/05/2010 08:29

Oh shit am misleading you again shredding was yesterday! So far today I have walked only 500 steps and drunk caffeinated beverages

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 26/05/2010 11:48

morning ..

managed to get the gym this am so a quick 5min on rower and 30 mins on step [phew]...

really need to buy this shredding dvd as have no idea what you are all on about

hotterpotter · 26/05/2010 13:57

Loti it's just a slightly full-on exercise dvd, it's good because it's only a 20-minute workout but does leave you (well me anyway) a bit sweaty.

Been for 40 min 40 length swim today (good) and step count up to 1016 (piss poor)

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 26/05/2010 14:20

Here you go Hots

Have shredded (7/30 - Level 1) and walked 3 miles today. DD1 decided to do the DVD with me but gave up when she couldn't do the jumping jacks or push ups . By the end of it she was asleep on the sofa . I love Jillian with the 'if you think you are about to die, follow Anita' - what is she, some kind of resucitation nurse?

Special K brekker, cottage cheese salad with apple & satsuma lunch and duck breasts, new pots, asparagus & broccoli for tea

CrispyTheCrisp · 26/05/2010 14:21

D'oh LOTI. Must have shredded my brain in the process

LadyGardenia · 26/05/2010 14:46

I have shredded too, that makes me 8/30 too, though I started way before you Sazz so I must have taken rather a lot of days off. I have also walked about 3 miles! And have also garden centred and caught up with a nice friend and her baby and generally had a day off work.

Yes I love that too, if you think you are going to die you can get your breath for no more than 5 seconds, this is a 20 minute workout, what do you expect, naptime and a duvet, etc etc?

Loti I bet the dvd would be right up your street actually.

CrispyTheCrisp · 26/05/2010 22:27

Been pretty good today. DH opened wine this eve. GGGRRRRR, but i managed to resist and had a cuppa and one small mouthful of flake

Not sure whether to get my hair cut, go for a run or go shopping tomorrow afternoon when DD1 at preschool. Gah, too many decisions. Night

CrispyTheCrisp · 27/05/2010 08:54

Bootcamp this week working well and there may even be a small loss this week if i eat celery, drink water and run 10k

hotterpotter · 27/05/2010 10:48

Wow, [impressed] by wine swerving . Not that I think you are a lush or owt...

DH out tonight so might get a shred in once DC are asleep, trying to remember to drink loads of water in anticipation of tomorrow's weigh-in
