OK, during the last thread I managed to lose the grand total of...nothing in fact I am a few pounds up [sigh]

Have lost maybe an inch from bust waist and hips so that is something I guess, but I will not be in the same position at the start of the next thread. Sazz Someone give me a stern talking to

MrDizz thrilled re discussion over his thighs

lovely walk into forest at reasonable pace due to hip pain and not being allowed to march off

lunch was mussels then portobello mushrooms with brie and med veggies - and a wee shot of DH's steak

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/05/2010 13:32

Am duly shredded (2/30). After Friday's achy arms i have changed to Robisons 1litre squas bottles which weigh in at about 1.1kg each and they are more comfortable. Felt ok, maybe a bit harder as some muscles still feeling the first session! It went by SO quickly which is nice. I think i am going to try and do it every other day unless other opportunities present themselves

It is a bit that it means i can't eat lunch with the girls, but tbh i'm not sure they notice anyway whilst busy stuffing their faces . I just sit there and make mine up while they eat.

SPecial K for brekker, cake swerved at playgroup, tinned red salmon with cucumber on a slice of granary bread for lunch and thai noodles with griddled chicken for tea

Lady i hope today is the day for
reinvigoration

hots hope the self sabotage didn't extend to the weekend? You have done SO well so far it would be a shame to career off on the slippery slope of random eating and just shovelling in food without a second thought. Breathe, refocus and enjoy the tastes of fresh food, not processed cake/crisp crap. The evil 3 C's. Avoid. OK??

dizz your lunch menu sounds divine

LOTI hope you had a relaxing time in Cyprus and ate and drank lovely things

dizzydixies · 17/05/2010 17:19

Sazz, am I missing something - why can't you lunch with the little ladies? well done on the cake swerve though

I've only had two slices of toast, a handful of grapes, a handful of prawn crackers and some OJ today - planning baked potato/egg mayo and salad for tea.

had a wee walk along the river with DD2 after her swimming lesson but nothing of any distance/decent speed - it was lovely having some very very rare 'us' time. Had intended on going out with dog when we got home but DD1's split lip incident knackered that and now A is away so I've all 3 on my own. Am shattered so won't be doing anything tonight (sorry) but will try again tomorrow.

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/05/2010 17:34

I can't eat with them as they go from lunch table straight to bed, which is when i can shred. I couldn;t do it immediately after eating as i would get horrific indegestion, so have to eat after it is done. No biggie really

Glad to hear you had a lovely walk with DD2 . Sorry to hear of DD1 injuring herself. Hope she is ok and just a bit shocked rather than anything more? No need for any more exercise than a pleasant ramble in the sunshine for you, please wait until your strength is returned. It must be horribly frustrating but will see you best in the end

Off to pilates soon, think my abs/glutes will be complaining tomorrow

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/05/2010 20:36

Pilates ticked off . Very good session and I think my back is getting stronger which is great

HOTS.....where are you???? Missing you

hotterpotter · 17/05/2010 21:03

Awww shucks it's nice to be missed

Unfortunately I was not v good at the weekend, although the food was not crazy crisps/choc/puddings/cheese the booze consumption was ridiculously over the top. She even had us drinking champers at 11am on Saturday . Exhausted pizza and wine on our return didn't help much and the scales told a horrifying tale this morning. Still, it's mostly water retention and a few days of strict living will shift most of it. No chance to reshred as been washing / feeling like an old woman most of the day, and working tomorrow but going on the train so will at least get a brisk walk across town in the morning.

oh and DH did weigh in this morning, is suitably horrified and will weigh in again on Fri at the end of his boot camp to see where he does from here - maybe I can extend the support of the hot mamma's from here

Hots, glad you had a lovely weekend

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/05/2010 21:16

Strict living henceforth.........

Dizz, of course we will support MrDizz. I think it is best we leave the 'feel the muscles as they appear' testing to you though

dizz we

dizzydixies · 17/05/2010 21:20

if I must

luckoftheirish · 18/05/2010 21:34

hello lovely slim ladies i'm back did you miss me?? ..

need to catch up on other thread and only home 2 hours but dh already gone to the pub so we will leave it at that..

hots i did kink of wear lycra to the wedding ... little tiny look on the scales and all is well and have af so will have a proper look tomorrow and report in.. the cyclist is back and she will be hopping on her bike tom when dd2 is asleep!! xx

LadyGardenia · 18/05/2010 21:54

Welcome home lot and the hotster!

Missed you something rotten!

hotterpotter · 19/05/2010 11:33

Loti welcome home! Glad your scales were kind on your return but sorry to hear your H is being as bad as ever. Here's a good way to lose quite a lot of weight - throw the bugger out! I mean it too, he will never change...

Anyway, been good re food, even though was hungry last night and watching Heston Blumenthal I didn't cave so feeling a bit virtuous today. Going swimming in half an hour but that will be my first ExerSazz of the week

So do we have a boy with us now??? [silly giggle]

OP posts:
LadyGardenia · 19/05/2010 11:37

well popped on the scales proper this am and only 2.8lbs to go to reach original target... reckon its ot stress related than being good iykwim.. however true to my word gonna hop on the old bike at lunch to try and get some energy into the old bones

luckoftheirish · 19/05/2010 13:22

completed my quick 20km in 32 minutes so slightly slower than usual but back in the saddle again! xx

hotterpotter · 19/05/2010 14:26

And I have swum (swam?) 40 lengths in 40 minutes, and quite enjoyed it for once. And there is some leftover buffet and apart from one small chicken goujon have eaten nothing naughty, just a couple of slices of pineapple

Anyone seen Sazz? Last heard from heading off shopping yesterday afternoon...

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 19/05/2010 14:48

yes, do the words cheating in a pub quiz last night mean anything to anyone - I would tell you where she was but I'm not a grass

don't worry about the boy girls, he won't actually be allowed IN the club, just be told what to be doing and shall keep a track of his weight loss

2lbs up however I am not distraught as apparently I have to be putting on something if I can keep it to that till I get the all clear then all good -maybe/I suppose/waits on row

hotterpotter · 19/05/2010 15:08

No boys????

Do you mean sazz has been drinking?

OP posts:
LadyGardenia · 19/05/2010 15:10

Well done on exerSazzing. Must shred shortly.

dizzydixies · 19/05/2010 17:46

Yes am pretty sure there was alcohol involved

CrispyTheCrisp · 20/05/2010 11:39

^ That is me drawing a line under the last few days. Actually only bad on Tues with tapas for lunch (ordered a crayfish salad but did pick at other stuff, but no dessert), followed by pub grub for dinner and midnight toast and marmite munching . Pulled it back ok yesterday and trying to be very good today.

Shredding planned for after DD1 dropped at preschool and DD2 napping

LOL at you all trying desperately to flirt with mrDizz. Perhaps MrCrisp would be enticed to join with all the flesh on show you lovely ladies

Good to see you back and straight on the bike LOTI, you put us all to shame

luckoftheirish · 20/05/2010 13:14

managed two sessions on the bike today around child care and housework so have managed 50km in a total of 84 minutes so am quite happy about that..

sazz its good for you to have a little bit of a blow out {not that it was much} every now and again and well done for getting back at it

CrispyTheCrisp · 20/05/2010 13:35

I am shredded. Not as impressive as LOTI and her journey round the world on her bike but will do for now.

Week's Exersazz: 4 shreds (Level 1), one 20 length swim, one pilates. Feels very weird not to have done running/powerplate/long swim for a week or so. May try next week to run as Tues pretty free

Will move to Level 2 of the shred tomorrow to kick off a new week of exercise

CrispyTheCrisp · 21/05/2010 07:34

Bugger +3. That really deserves a not a . Oh well

Nuff said
