Here we are, thanks Cyteen for the excellent title although it's slightly false advertising on my part

sorry Sazz in my defence I have been coping with the PIL and doing late shifts - am all done with work till Hogmany so am all yours to crack whips at though [meep]

I'm hoping that my 2lb loss should appease you for a moment though - god bless no point soup

thank you for lovely new thread Hots and Cyteen

SazzlesOnASled · 14/12/2009 15:53

Yay, a sparkling new home

Glad you guys are back, i was a little lonely over there

Well done on the 2lbs off Dizz, great news whilst coping this week

I have actually started the week ever so slightly better than Fri (despite being up Sat and Sun morning) so am chuffed to pieces. Also given me the impetus to continue being very good and will definitely try and get 4 ExerSazz in this week as next week may go a bit Pete Tong

Dizz, do you think you might get to Curves this week now work is temporarily ceased?

Hots - what do you need us to do to help you back on the straight and narrow? Happy to crack whips or cajole, incentivise or whatever . You were doing so well, it would be a shame to lose it now

hotterpotter · 14/12/2009 17:49

Well done Dizzy that's great news

Well done you too Sazz, starting Monday down a bit is a great start so hoping for a decent loss for you

I don't know what's up with me, I guess I am just fed up that I have been up and down for so long and am only 1lb down on 2 October It must be my own fault but I have done loads of exercise and not been really naughty so why won't it go down??????

On the plus side I have been shopping with my Grandma today and she's bought me a nice tunic top for Christmas, size 14 and it looks great then I have come home to find a sparkly dress I ordered had arrived (from BHS ) size 14 and it fits perfectly . Went in H&M too, and although I am still resolutely a 16 in there it is so refreshing to be able to shop in the normal part and not have only 6 things to choose from in the bigger girl bit. So I need to remember that and if I can stop the bread again and go back to one pudding a week I might start to lose some more again [fingers crossed]

Do you think reporting to Lord Ford for a week would do the trick Hots? Since i stopped using it i have felt the snacking (albeit pretty healthy) increase and that 'oh i'll just finish off DC's toast/dinner'. I have reigned it back in now as i think the 'little extras' were cancelling out the exercise benefits

Well done on the clothes though . The exercise will be helping your shape, even if the scales are a bit stuck

hotterpotter · 14/12/2009 18:09

You are probably right Sazz that I need to really look at my eating with an honest eye, I just find Lord ford so time consuming which is something I don't have loads of at the moment. Oh look, there I am making excuses again...

Can you believe I was so fed up this morning I didn't even get weighed and I have had bread which is utterly forbidden on a school day so I will do my penance on the bike tonight and try and get my 4 ExerSazzes in this week.

OP posts:
SazzlesOnASled · 14/12/2009 18:34

It is time consuming, although with your own laptop you can just leave the website on, so much quicker and easier to hop on

I would say get on the scales in the morning, read through half closed eyes and start afresh

hotterpotter · 14/12/2009 21:34

Well I dragged my sorry ass upstairs and really went for it - managed 16 miles in 40.48 and the bike said that's 100 calories but as it seems to be out by a factor of 4 I'd say that's 400 which cancels out the bread [phew]

Having a big drink of water and thinking thin thoughts...

OP posts:
SazzlesOnASled · 14/12/2009 21:47

Woo woo

When i cycled for just under 45 mins the other day it was 450 cals so i reckon 400 is about right

Right. Plan. 3 point plan so very easy :

  1. Half week weigh in tomorrow morning
  2. Completion of 4 Exersazz between now and Fri
  3. No booze, chocolate, finishing DC's food, late night eating

You in????

hotterpotter · 14/12/2009 21:54

No booze until when?...

OP posts:
SazzlesOnASled · 14/12/2009 22:01

Oh sorry, only till next weigh in (Fri)

You can breathe again

hotterpotter · 14/12/2009 22:04

Oh feck arse just remembered it's work drinks on Wednesday afternoon with the Chief Exec , I will have to be good and just have one... at least steer clear of the buffet - it's not the booze that kills me it's the bloody crisps

Apart from that, you're on

OP posts:
SazzlesOnASled · 14/12/2009 22:09

Ok, i will make an exception, just because it's you - one night off the no booze rule. Sheesh, i am getting generous in my old age

Sazz is reminded that it is her work do on Thurs night

hotterpotter · 14/12/2009 22:12

LOL

SazzlesOnASled · 14/12/2009 22:15

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 15/12/2009 10:43

Ooh I am down 0.75lb on Friday

Righto, being good it is

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 15/12/2009 10:44

Keep forgetting the Christmas smileys

SazzlesOnASled · 15/12/2009 11:09

Hurrah hots, 1/2lb down here too

Just ran 10k in 57:40 [woo woo]. 800 calories

SazzlesOnASled · 15/12/2009 14:03

I thought you might be interested in this article about Xmas eating. There are some truly bizarre suggestions about sprinkling bran on your food , but overall worth a quick reads

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 15/12/2009 23:15

Excellent running Sazz . I did 16 miles in 40.20 so progress here too. I even turned down flapjack at MIL's today

Interesting article, I agree about bunging unwanted sweets in the bin. To my shame I just can't leave them alone if they are in the house . Will not be sprinkling bran on my food though [eww]

Off to bed, way past bed time and have work tomorrow. Will try not to get pissed in the afternoon...

SazzlesOnASled · 16/12/2009 07:49

Runs through for an announcement

I AM NO LONGER OVERWEIGHT

VintageGardenia · 16/12/2009 07:54

I'm back in the game girls.

Sazzles hoooooooooooooooooraaaaaaaayyyyyyy well done my absolute darling you SO DESERVE YOUR RESULTS!

Slim, gorgeous, a fab mum, sexy wife & Christmas is coming. Yay for you!

oopsandbabyJesusinacoconut · 16/12/2009 08:21

Blobs onto thread to see Sazzles news.....

YAY SKINNYSAZZLES You have achieved an amazing amount in the last 7 months, you should be thoroughly proud of yourself.

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 16/12/2009 09:37

Wooo hooo Sazzeroony well done!!!!!

Fancy being normal, how amazing I see that chocolate Santa did not scupper you...

I am back down to Friday's weight which I am pretty chuffed about too, and looking forward to a little loss this week. Still 6lb to go for me to be not overweight but that in itself is miraculous considering my girth over the last ten years, and it couldn't have been achieved without your whip cracking support and encouragement

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 16/12/2009 14:56

Have had a minor breakthrough today at the leftover buffet - despite a dazzling array of sandwiches and mozzarella sticks I had one slice of beef and a small piece of cheese

Plus The Christmas lunch and few pints planned for Friday afternoon has been cancelled but that will save me quite a few hundred calories and I may even go swimming one more time.

dizzycringles · 16/12/2009 15:36

oh well done Sazz, you truely are a superstar

Hots, buffet a BIG achievement too!!
