Terrible weekend and plus three here hungover to hell all day yesterday, ate jelly beans, crisps, buttered toast and something else I can't remember. None of it worked by the way and I still have a brutal headache and neckache and shoulder ache so I reek of Deep Heat. DS2 got a nasty cold so the pair of us are wailing round the house like a couple of miserable banshees. Beautiful day out, deep blue sky and sunshine, but we're not going out into the Big Bad World till after lunch, going to do a brisk pier walk and get some nice springish snaps, plus buy paint for ds1 room.

Have I bored you yet?

ALBS 11 pounds is super! Well done .

LOTI you and I are in the meh camp at the moment somehow we have to shake our booties out of it.

alittlebitshy · 08/03/2010 12:57

I am in some pre ds jeans not loose but they did up with some room to spare!!!!! woo hoo!!!
was going through my wardrobe seeing what i could wear to a christening on sunday - tried on a skirt i had, and when it worked dug into the jeans drawer and yay. oddly my knee high boots (fat legged duo ones from when i was between a 12 and a 14 ) are still snug but will do up, so i am sorted for sunday!

luckoftheirish · 08/03/2010 12:57

ow vg.. nice that you managed a few drinks but yuck on the old hangover.. maybe a brisk walk will clear out the cobwebs.. hope ds2 feels better..

just been on the old bike and have managed 21.5km in 32 mins so slowly getting a bit faster.. did the usual sit ups and managed to get dd2 out for an hour walk this am {tho did have to detour to the park}..

got a one-to-one pilates tom am first one in about two weeks and then as i am at the gym will try and go to step/all over body workout... all depends on how the rest of the day goes as normally when i book sessions something always go pete tong...

i'm even more boring vg!

Well done albs, 11lb is a great loss!

Just keeping myself marked on here, I'm not giving up yet. It's always the same with me when I attempt to weigh in, I lose nothing the first week and get discouraged straight away, leading to greedy relapse. So I'm making myself get positive again - back on the sensible eating wagon, did ten minutes of stretching and sit ups/push ups this morning (not much I know, but better than nowt). Plus lots of pramming with my little mood monster. Hopefully taking him swimming again or to toddler gym session, and friend and I are v up for the aerobics class tomorrow night now that she is recovered from her nasty vomming bug.

Hoorah, made it to Zumba fitness class and it was awesome! Will definitely be going next week. Haven't been too bad with eating either today, just a single toasted muffin with peanut butter to mar the healthiness.

hotterpotter · 09/03/2010 22:18

I have hardly posted in the last 11 days, no wonder it's all been going wrong . Have been good food-wise today, apart from small portion of icecream, and back to work tomorrow after 6 days off in a row so back to limited snacking opportunity and then see what Friday brings...

Walked miles on Sunday and gardened / been on bike today so that's 2x ExerSazz so far, could be worse. Cyteen Zumba class sounds interesting, glad you enjoyed it!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 10/03/2010 20:11

I have been meaning to come back, honest.

Have been very good on the eating front lately.
As of last weigh in (last week) I have lost 6lb.

I will weigh in again tomorow.
af is due and I feel very bloated today.

Started ditching car and walking more too.

dizzydixies · 10/03/2010 20:21

well done No1 but fingers crossed you're eating properly and not losing weight due to stress please be careful darling from what I've seen of you there isn't much to loose [meep]

hotterpotter · 10/03/2010 21:38

Loti yoou are the biking queen I have done a not so impressive 12 miles (=19.2km) in 33 mins but i was reading as I cycled Still, I also went up the stairs 10 times at work today; that's 2340 steps (not all in one go)

Dizzy don't be daft you ahve nothing to be about, you just need to find your mojo again

Hoorah. Am -4lb since the start of the 11 week challenge now. How many weeks do I have left? I haven't been this light since DD was born (so probably since about 12 weeks pregnant).

Nice work Sazz, unfortunately there was a malfunction in mine (week 4) and on Friday I was actually +1 on the starting weight . Will swap it back tomorrow when I am hoping to be down a bit.

Have been looking in my wardrobe with and a bit of as I really have not too much anything to wear for springtime. Even though my legs are approaching an acceptable size to wear knee dresses I have horrible varicose veins but not sure if I am old enough to wear light coloured tights, and then even if I did I don't have the shoes, having spent most of the last 8 years in flip flops. But what's the point of losing loads of weight only to continue wearing sack maxi dresses????

lwfh you are doing great, especially as you have only just given birth

OP posts:
VintageGardenia · 11/03/2010 10:13

Hell

Sazz thank goodness you swept in and tidied up the list! Thank you thank you thank you. Hope your shoulder is a bit better, swit swoo for you getting chatted up at the pool, there was no need to mention that Pat was an old blokey, it completely spoils the story, so tell the revised youthful Calvin Klein ad star version to DH everyone else please.

I was +3 at the start of the week, have had a preview and I am doing ok but will be mightily annoyed with self if am still up tomorrow completely own fault for a. getting a right royal hangover and b. dealing with it like a teenager, ie eating sugar and bread products.

I think I am getting old. but true. I can't process alcohol any more. I like a glass of wine but I can't get more than tipsy without being a complete wreck. I haven't had more than two drinks a week (I think ) for about 4 weeks and then go and dunk my head in a wine barrel. Stupo.

Anyway could you care less about my drinking habits? I don't think so.

Well done biker babes. Am going running at 11 if ds wakes from everlasting nap (v unusual at this time of am). Better do a long one, it's been an exerSazz-free week. (But Pilates later so that will be 2 in one day - can you tell Friday approaches...?)

VintageGardenia · 11/03/2010 10:20

hots what shapes do you like?

I don't know about varicose veins but I wouldn't let them stop you wearing the length you want to wear. As I said I am getting old. And my philosophy is now, stop trying to conceal all the flaws. Yes wear things that are flattering to your shape and your colouring, yes wear things that make the most of your assets and minimise what you don't want to boast about but don't let some minor imperfection stop you from wearing a look that is 95% good for you. I mean, wear a lovely knee-length skirt and a kitten-heeled flipflop (yes) and a light tan on your legs (can't say I do this but I am PLANNING to) and a pretty top and the OVERALL impression will be wowsers check out the hotster. Whereas if you say OH these VEINS I am UNDONE I will wear a maxi dress for the rest of my life, the overall impression will be there's a lass covering up and your sexpot potential will be going totally untapped. REVEAL and ENHANCE the good parts and no-one's going to care about some detail that's not been airbrushed out of existence.

GOT THAT POTS??

dizzydixies · 11/03/2010 10:27

am -2lb which means 3lb off from the +1

dh still stupidly busy so no gym again but beautiful day here so will head out for walk once playgroup rota done
