Here we are, thanks Cyteen for the excellent title although it's slightly false advertising on my part

OP posts:
SazzlesOnASled · 24/12/2009 11:08

. I think that allows you a mince pie as well

dizzycringles · 24/12/2009 13:38

you two crack me up ladies, well done you're such an inspiration

feck all for brekker here as was in M&S at 8am and homemade soup for lunch - am making NO promises for tea or thereafter and am sorry but bets are completely off for tomorrow

SazzlesOnASled · 24/12/2009 18:23

Swam 50 lengths after 3 sausage rolls at lunchtime. Not sure when i will next exercise sit in the sauna

Sounds like a very good day dizz

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 26/12/2009 19:52

Hello lovelies

Hope you are enjoying the delights of the season without going overboard.

I did drink loads of wine yesterday but not too much dinner, hardly any tea and not much chocolate at all I think this might be sinking in at last Of course the scales may tell a different story...

dizzycringles · 26/12/2009 22:13

I had lost another 2 lbs when I weighed in yesterday morning and was rather sensible during christmas dinner - not exactly intentionally, I just didn't feel like eating too much

today has been a different story as I've had two tins of coke to counteract the champers from last night and the Roses got opened tonight

SazzlesOnASled · 26/12/2009 23:46

I was +5 [arse] yesterday and i swear not THAT bad at all. However AF turned up today so at least there was some contributory factor

Had more sausage rolls today and some turkish delight, but other than that, pretty ok. And my mum has finally noticed that i have lost 3 and half stone a bit of weight

hots sounds like a real mind shift. Well done , and dizzy excellent news on the reduced appetite

dizzycringles · 27/12/2009 09:52

well done Mammy Sazz about time too! My 2lb off on Christmas morning is back on today [not fecking surprised emoticon] but am not devestated - we have people coming tomorrow, am cooking up a storm but will behave myself

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 27/12/2009 11:36

LOL I spoke too soon way too much wine led to pringles I can't even remember eating and rather too much toblerone Oh well...

Glad your mum finally noticed Sazz , and I'm sure most of that +5 will be water retention

Dizzy never mind about the +2, if it follows a -2 then that's fine

SazzlesOnASled · 27/12/2009 23:42

+7 this morning. not weighing till new year

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 27/12/2009 23:52

...

SazzlesOnASled · 27/12/2009 23:57

I need one with tears Hots. Seriously it is getting ludicrous. i am like someone being imflated with a blow up airbed pump Poor Dh doesn't know what to say

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 28/12/2009 10:01

Well I got weighed this morning and in solidarity with you I am +5 and that was before the three slices of toast with butter and marmalade

I know at least one is semi-permanent as I have eaten almost 400g of toblerone since Christmas day the really stupid thing is I don't even like it that much

SazzlesOnASled · 28/12/2009 13:57

Well i am back down to +5 so if i can hold steady at that then not too bad. I may try and gym/swim tomorrow apart from the fact that we are due blizzards tonight but we'll see

hots i ate turkish delight pure sugar just because it was there and something to pick at. At least no visitors now till new year so no rounds of coffee and sausage rolls and tea and cake to tempt me

SazzlesOnASled · 28/12/2009 20:43

Doing much better today as a result of bashing my head on the car boot lid i seem to have lost my appetite and don't fancy any wine . I wonder if this is permanent?

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 28/12/2009 20:58

Eek, scary I sincerely hope it is temporary.

No such restraint here, have had toast and sandwiches then chips and two portions of pavlova at MIL's, and chocolate log on our return home wine is coming out again in a minute too...

I think a week of excess will be good for us actually, to get our bodies out of 'being good' mode then when we start being good again next week it will be a shock and have good results

SazzlesOnASled · 28/12/2009 21:20

ROFL at your diet psychology . If it works i reckon you could make your millions selling your new pig out diet plan

I am quite impressed that you are still sticking to your 9pm wine 'appearance'. I was drinking champagne at 10.30am on Xmas Day

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 28/12/2009 21:24

Only because if I start any earlier I would just be in a puddle of drunkenness. I had some pink cava on Boxing day, started drinking it at 8 and the whole bottle was gone by 9.15pm , so I had a bit of red too and passed out on the sofa Starting at 9 gives me some chance of remaining awake

dizzycringles · 28/12/2009 21:28

ladies, I haven't weighed in but I know its not going to be pretty [meep]

dizzycringles · 28/12/2009 21:30

ESPECIALLY as my fecking dbrother filmed me during a wii game where you have to dance copying the person on the screen - not pretty, not pretty at all was good fun and great cardio workout until I saw myself [weeps]

SazzlesOnASled · 28/12/2009 21:38

Oh Dizzy, that is never going to be a flattering film, even if you are built like Keira Knightley. Delete, delete, delete...

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 28/12/2009 21:44

Oi cheeky I have only had one glass

Dizz I agree with Sazz, that is never gonna be flattering. Keep it up though, good fun and a workout is not to be sniffed at!

I know what you mean too, I have been playing with the webcam on this new laptop and it makes me want to weep. I don't know if I want to skype with any of you, or my cover will be blown and I will be revealed as the haggard 40-year old I really am

dizzycringles · 29/12/2009 11:07

am hiding from the skpe until my grand 6stone lighter unveiling - see you in 2020 then

breakfast in bed of toast, 2 slices of bacon and some scrambled egg has happened for first time in 5yrs so I didn't refuse and I'm not apologising for it

on scales and another +1 so will start behaving myself - pot of homemade soup called for me thinks

SazzlesOnASled · 29/12/2009 21:23

I may be getting a webcam for my birthday, so no bloody hiding you two

Back down to +4 so feeling a bit better. Special K for brekker, turkey soup and 1/2 slice toast for lunch and coronation turkey jacket spud for dinner. A very small piece of Xmas cake was had with a cuppa this afternoon which was very much enjoyed

HotterTheRedNosedReindeer · 29/12/2009 22:36

Back down to +3 for me but have eaten like a glutton all day [fshame] We seem to be drinking every day too, but only for another 4 or 5 days...[eek]

I will do webcam but may be forced to smear vaseline on the lens first

SazzlesOnASled · 29/12/2009 22:41

I was thinking of some rose coloured film to hang over the lens
