Following on from my other post asking advice on Atkins, I'm going to give it a preoper go now and aim to lose 10lb by the end of September.

Who's with me - Katisha, Eyeballs, anybody else?

I'll start. This time last week I was 14 stone. I'm now 13 stone, 11lb. WOOHOO!

Sounds like AF really has an impact for you though.

Hm.. the 2 weeks after the wedding I really didn't follow the rules properly (had a big thing the weekend after two and ended up having 2 pizzas, oops!!)

Took me a long time to get back into it, but definitely back on track now. There's no way I would have continued until Christmas without that little break.

IMoveTheStarsForNoOne · 27/10/2009 09:26

after two? what.

I meant I had a big thing the weekend after the wedding.

too early in the morning

Casserole · 27/10/2009 13:15

Oh it's only day TWO and I'm already struggling! Am full of cold and tired and so want to go and fill my face with sweet and stodgy stuff, even though I know that won't help!

Got a Tesco shop of yummy low carb stuff coming tonight so hoping that will make me a bit more excited.

I'm not actually hungry, just looking for comfort. Ah well, off to do something else instead to pick me up a bit while DS sleeps (full of same cold, bless him)...

Oh - the crackers were not bad! I didn't season them, and definitely will next time, wanted to see what the natural flavour was. But they provided a decent Brie vehicle, so thanks! Going to make a lo carb cheesecake tonight with soft cheese, ground almonds, lemon and a little Splenda (not loads, don't like the taste much) and Greek chicken for my dinner tonight (Chicken breasts stuffed with feta) so at least my dinner menu is appealing!

IMoveTheStarsForNoOne · 29/10/2009 13:00

How's everybody doing today?

Just had the best chicken and bacon salad for lunch... Nom nom nom.

(sorry, thought I'd share)

Tortington · 29/10/2009 13:03

i have another thread but here goes

i have a box of 5 saCHETS of veg soup from lowcarbmegastore .com - was v. expensive.

i hate it

if anyone wants it?

IMoveTheStarsForNoOne · 29/10/2009 13:22

Not for me thanks Custy (not a soup fan)

How's your LCing going btw?

Tortington · 29/10/2009 13:54

its going really well thanks so far lost 34lbs just another 3/4 of a stone to go (hopefully before xmas so i can pig out a bit)

what about you?

IMoveTheStarsForNoOne · 29/10/2009 14:40

34lb! Wow - am very impressed and a bit . I think you were on 22lb when I started.

I've lost a stone now - had a bad couple of weeks but properly back in induction now and have lost 5lb in the last week. I love this diet, it's amazing!

Going to stay on it until I've lost another stone, or it's Christmas. Whichever comes first

Tortington · 29/10/2009 16:43

are you coming to mn xmas do?

BecauseImWorthIt · 29/10/2009 16:44

I'll be at the MN do - will hopefully meet you this year! (I left a bit early last year)

Tortington · 29/10/2009 16:45

great - where are you staying - or dya live closeish?

BecauseImWorthIt · 29/10/2009 17:04

I'll be getting a cab home (or the tube, depending what time I leave). I live in SW London, so it's difficult to justify the cost of a hotel room really!

Katisha · 29/10/2009 17:09

Well if no-one else wants the soup...

Tortington · 29/10/2009 21:45

well i'll see you there them biwi.

sure katisha - do you still have my e-mail address? i'llneed your address again!

Katisha · 29/10/2009 22:48

Custy - Have emailed you for my next red cross parcel

Tortington · 29/10/2009 23:37

oh dont be embarrassed - i'm glad to get rid - don't thank me til you have tasted the foul stuff. prob wont get round to sending til saturday or early next week

hows your LCing going?

Katisha · 29/10/2009 23:41

Cheers!
Well I have lost half a stone in the last three weeks or so. I was convinced that nothing was going to happen as I spent two or three weeks with nothing to show, and then all of a sudden the scales started going down.
I would like to get another stone off ideally.

Tortington · 29/10/2009 23:42

well done you!

are you coming to the xmas do in London?

Katisha · 29/10/2009 23:46

Ta! I was saying to biwi and imovethestars that I think the time of the month has an awful lot to do with it for me.

Christmas do - no I don't think so. I hack into London for work and don't really fancy going in again on a Sat night. I would have been more tempted to stay on if it was a weeknight but obv that's not great for most.

IMoveTheStarsForNoOne · 30/10/2009 22:30

Hi there.

Wish I could go to the Christmas do, but unfortunately not. Would be quite scared to go in any case.. I'm better than I used to be, but have never been very confident with people I don't know.

Anyhoo...

AF week this week, so not expecting any loss at all. The need for toast is quite alarming!

Katisha · 02/11/2009 11:53

OK well I've up and down like a yo-yo this week and am relieved to find on weigh-day that I have at least stayed the same as last week!

So no real movement.

Casserole · 02/11/2009 21:40

6lbs down, woohoo! I do love induction AND I'm due on....

celebrating with a glass of wine. shh....

BecauseImWorthIt · 02/11/2009 21:42

Well. I had a bit of a run in with a tin of Quality Street

So I haven't weighed in today.

Why do we do this to ourselves?!

Katisha · 02/11/2009 21:44

Oi BIWI as I remember you were being STRICT about the chart last week!
What's with the no weighing??

Casserole -

BecauseImWorthIt · 02/11/2009 22:54

I know, I know

I think I just got sick and tired of nothing moving on the scales. Totally stupid, as now I have surely guaranteed that they will be moving upwards!
