Thought i'd set something up, as so many of us are interested in joining.

Not sure what goes on in these threads, but guess a good starting point is for everyone to state how much weight they want to lose? Then i guess we need to decide whether to just update each other on progress as and when, or whether we should have a communal weighin say on the 1st of each month.

I guess if anyone has any healthy recipes, or exercise tips, then its a good place to share them too. Also a good place to boast when you've eaten something healthy rather than heading for the biscuit tin , or when you've dropped a dress size or got back in pre-preg clothes (I've had to go and buy more clothes as i'm nowhere near my pre-pg size).

I'm just jealous really. 10st10lb is the lowest I've weighed ever. I'm not sure I'll ever get down to that. It was just before I had dd1.

I remember being less than 10stone.. I think it was 20yrs ago and I'd got glandular fever! God I feel old now!!! 20yrs ago

well no loss this week for me.. exactly the same. lucky really as I've scoffed lots of kids birthday food.. taken ds to 3 parties since saturday including his.

FiKelly · 17/08/2009 10:11

No loss again this wk.. ho hum.. looks like i'm not going to shift it with bf alone. just don't have the drive to push myself to do more exercise.. even walking everywhere pushing the pram with ds on the buggy board isn't helping me achieve weight-loss

FiKelly · 25/08/2009 08:28

yay!!! somehow i've lost 2lbs this week i've not done anything different at all but not complaining 173.8 now but still lots to go..

pulapula · 28/08/2009 09:35

I'm down to 10st 3 so not far off my 10st target. I must admit my diet is bad, but i do walk a lot and BF is still helping with the weight loss!

wow pula only 3lbs to go that's great. I too walk a lot & my current diet is quite healthy.. but still finding days I am ravenous with bf so maybe that's why the weight isn't just falling off me?!

Saying that though I've lost another lb this week so now 172.8 I'm hoping it's the start of a losing trend..

pulapula · 17/09/2009 14:53

Well after a week of pigging out on holiday i have now put 2lbs back on but it's not as bad as DH who gained 4lbs . So still 5lbs to go.

FiByTheSea · 28/09/2009 23:18

hi youngmumtwice It is hard isn't it?! I thought running round after DS and BF DD would make the weight just drop off in no time shame it hasn't happened.. but i'm still hoping!
