missnat how frustrating for you!! You need to see the scales going down to give you the motivation to carry on don't you?

Buzz well done to you (and you looked fab in the photos ) Are you going to carry on dieting now or are you done?

Dozy knew you couldn't stay away At least 4 off and 2 on is still a drop in the right direction.

I lost 2lb this week so my total is now 32lbs (which is the same weight as my nearly 3 year old )

DH's work has settled into a more predictable pattern so my exercise routine is now more settled which is good as I can plan better. I am currently doing Combat on Mondays (which I LOVE - thanks Jodie/Dozy), Pump on Fridays, Attack on Saturday, Attack followed by Pump on Sunday. On Tues, Wed, Thurs I am walking DS1 to nursery as often as the weather allows so a maximum of 40 minutes a day whilst lumping chunky monkey DS2 around in the sling Am really trying to make sure that I do 2 Pump classes as all the advice on WLR is that weight training is the way to go!

Got my ultrasound scan tomorrow on my gallbladder - I just want it out now tbh and apparently there is an 18-week waiting list Although it is great for the diet, I am so fed up of not being able to have a takeaway every so often as a treat/break from cooking and having to constantly monitor how much I eat to make sure that I don't have another attack - pretty crappy way to live really.

LadyBuzz · 16/06/2009 08:32

Well done Ceebee you are doing brilliantly!

I'm not done yet I would still like to lose another stone at least which would take me to round about 9 1/2 stone which is great for my height - as Ceebee knows I am quite little

JODIEwantsanewname · 19/06/2009 16:41

YEAH, I saw 10 stone something on ,my scales this morning!!!!!!! 10 stone 13.75 to be presise!!!!

I'm so excited!

How is everyone else???

Ceebee74 · 19/06/2009 21:10

Jodie woohoo to you I bet that feels great!!

I will never see 10 stone something on the scales My next mini-target is to be 12 stone something.

I went to work on Wednesday with DS2 and got tons of compliments - kind of makes all the hard work worthwhile

Weigh-in tomorrow for me but I have ended up almost 1000 cals over this week and I have no idea why. I haven't particularly pigged out or done less exercise - so I am not hopeful about tomorrow!!

Dozymare · 21/06/2009 19:38

Well done jodie good week for me as well, lost 3lbs taking me to 13st 7lbs which I am so happy about! However, my weigh in was friday and I have true to form, pigged out since then so we shall see what this week brings. I am definately back on track though, after a few weeks in the wilderness....

cebbee it is so nice to hear the compliments isn't it..definately spurs one on!

Where is five and missnat and ali

Morning,
Wel done Jodie & Dozy great going.
I put 2lbs on this week but I have eaten none stop since last Sunday so I'm not too bothered. I really do have to get back on track this week, although it is DS1 birthday so it might be a little bit hard

missnatalie · 25/06/2009 10:55

Well done Dozy and Jodie. I lost 2lb too last week. Im now at 12st 1lb. Just 15lb away from my target of 11st but id love to get down to 10st really. Might give it a go just going to wait and see how i look and feel at 11st first.

I love getting compliments too Ceebee. Makes it all that bit more a worth it.

Were all doing so well. Still can beleive that ive stuck to it and its so easy. I do have my bad days, we all do but its really easy to get back on track.

Ive sorted out my meds so hopefully (fingers crossed) i shouldnt need the streroids. Hope everyone is well

Ceebee74 · 27/06/2009 13:16

Hey - just checking in

Lost 2lb this week so total loss is 34lbs - I really wanted to get to 2 1/2 stone today but hey ho.

I am noticing a big difference in what I am able to eat now - obviously my daily cals have dropped dramatically since we started in January so my daily Smarties habit is going to have to go by the wayside

LadyBuzz · 27/06/2009 17:29

Well done Ceebee thats great going, can't ait to see the new you .

I weighed in this week stayed the same but I wasn't too fussed as I haven't really been trying. I am def back on track next week though!

Dozymare · 03/07/2009 13:40

morning all - just checking in - I stayed the same last week, but have lost 3lbs this week taking me to the magical 2 and half stone loss!! Am very happy as also bought some size 14 shorts in next that fit (Although quite snug as my problem area is my tummy).

Hope everyone else is doing well!

OP posts:
Ceebee74 · 03/07/2009 15:58

Dozy well done on getting to that 2 and a half stone mark - I am 1lb of it and not very confident about my weigh-in tomorrow as it is TOTM!

How good does it feel to be in size 14 clothes?? I am definitely a size 14 on top now and just above a size 14 bottoms - like you, they fit perfectly on the bum/thighs but I can't breathe struggle to do them up as my tummy is still so wobbly and big I never thought I would be getting anywhere near size 14 when in January I was struggling to get in size 18's!! I bet you look fab

Ho to everyone else -hope you are all still around!

LadyBuzz · 05/07/2009 15:53

I'm still here but i'm too ashamed to post at the moment
I did so well to get into my dress for the wedding I have been so bad for the last 3 weeks, I had a half hearted attempt to re start last week but failed miserably!
I really need to get my motivation back. But I can fit into my pre pg clothes (12) now so i'm getting lax!

Well done Dozy and ceebee 2 1/2 stone is fantastic going!

Ceebee74 · 05/07/2009 20:26

As expected, weight loss this week is a big fat zero so still frustratingly 1lb away from 2 1/2 stone!!

missnatalie · 05/07/2009 23:29

Im doing terribly at the moment. Not that im not trying though. Im doing loads of exercise and sticking to my daily cals but for some reason i seem to be hovering between 12st 3lb and 12st 1lb. Its been the same for the last 3 week and is doing my head in AAaarrgghh

Even though im 12st 3lb i managed to fit into a sie 12 at the weekend. I found the most beautiful dress ever in French Connection and i just had to have it. So even though im still weighing alot i must be more toned to have been able to fit in it. I dont know. My body is really strange at the moment.

Speaking of strange. Has anyone else noticed a change to their cycle since starting the diet. Since my periods began and straight after DS they were always a 28 day cycle but since starting the diet there all over the place. Sometimes at 15 day other times a 20 day. Im just worried that im not eating enough and im damaging my fertility. Has anyone else had this problem

LadyBuzz · 06/07/2009 09:03

Missnat My cycle is all over the place but I think it has more to do with going back on the pill and not being normal since DS2 was born.

I had the same problem as you I hovered around 11st for over a month until I managed to shift that last lb to get under it.

Well I weighed in this morning and I am 10st 13lbs so 4lbs on in 3 weeks which I suppose isn't too bad!

I'm going back on FF (can't afford WLR) as I seem to be getting too lax with the weight management programme I was following.

So here I am starting again with a vengance!

Ceebee good luck for this week I'm sure you ill get the last 1lb!

JODIEwantsanewname · 06/07/2009 09:46

Hi all!

missn Don't worry about your monthy's, mine were all over the place after giving birth and I went back on the pill 2 months ago and even now they are trying to fight that!!! Don't forget your body goes through a HUGE change after and during having a baby, and your LO isn't even 1 yet is he??? Also, I struggled to get past 11stone 3,, then I did it (took weeks) and it kicked strted something and it's coming off again now!

It was Sam's 1st birthday on Saturday and I'm only 7lbs off my pre-pregnancy weight, so I'm quite about that! I did want to be near 10st for my 30th in August, I;m 10st 12.5 at the mo, so still got about 5 weeks, I might do it!!

missnatalie · 06/07/2009 10:14

Thanks girls. You've put my mind a ease a little re my cycle. Ive got an appt with the nurse this week. Im gonna mention it to her too and see what she says.

Jodie DS is almost 17 months. Well done to you for getting so close to your pre pregnancy weight in less than 12 months. Well done!

LB I hope that the scales do move eventualy but then not go back up a few lbs the week after. Going to up my exercise intake this week and see if that helps.

Ceebee74 · 06/07/2009 20:30

Missnat hope you get some answers from the nurse. Since having DS2 8 months ago, my cycle has been anything from 27 days to 38 days I never know when it is going to arrive tbh - but this is the longest I have gone without being on the pill for 18 years so I have no idea what is 'normal' for me.

Jodie belated happy birthday to Sam Hope you all had a good day. I have got DS1's 3rd birthday party this weekend which means lots of food no doubt!!

Well I lost the 2 stone I put on with DS2 in about 5 months..just need to shift this other 2 stone I put on with DS1

Ceebee74 · 11/07/2009 09:50

Just checking in to say I have lost 2lb this week so reached my 2 1/2 stone target

Next target is to be 12 stone something - just need to get rid of another 2lbs to do that - but it is DS1's birthday this week and DH is off on holiday so probably lots of lunches out/birthday cake etc.

Hope you are all doing ok.

missnatalie · 12/07/2009 00:08

Quick update from me. 3lb loss this week.Same at Ceebee 2st 7lb loss in total o far. Puts me at exactly 12st, 1st away from my first target of 11st

Well done Ceebee. Hope that DS has a lovely birthday

JODIEwantsanewname · 21/07/2009 08:24

Right guys, time to get back on track, I'm slowly putting the odd pound back on and I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!

missnatalie · 21/07/2009 10:30

Have you got anything planned Jodie i.e. holiday, wedding etc. That has helped me. I had a wedding last week (althought didnt end up going) and were booking a holiday for Sept. My inspiration is looking at DS 1st xmas pics where i look like a huge lump of fat. They really are terrible pics. This yr the pics will be lovely with a nice, lean "Yummy Mummy" in them. Try and think back to what clicked in your head to make you want to lose the weight. Come on Jodie you can do it. Once you've lost the weight you'll never need to diet again. Come On .

Well my weight has gone up again . Back up to 12st 3lb. I contacted the help team and they've told me to change my activity level to moderatly active (was moderatly sedatary before) as im constantly on the go with looking after DS, shopping, cleaning etc. They reckon that my body is in starvation mode as im constantly on the go plus exercising so not getting enough cals. Im on just over 1400 cals basic plus any exercise. I hope it works. Have been hovering between 12st and 12st 3lb for weeks now .

JODIEwantsanewname · 21/07/2009 15:25

Nothing planned MissN Just my 30th in 3 weeks, which I was hoping to be slimmer for, but I just lost sight of the goal for a while and now it's abit too late

I know I can do it, but it's the will power thats missing.......

Rumpel · 21/07/2009 17:34

Hi Ladies - do you mind if I join your club? I am on the post natal club with Jodie and need some cajoling and help to motivate myself to lose some of my flab.

I am 37 have a DD of almost 3, a DS of just turned 1. I am 5'8.5" and weigh 13st7lbs.
I was 12st pre kids and quite fit as I used to go to the gym a lot and loved it. After DD I got down to 12st 10lb and have lost 2st3lbs since having Ds but ideally want to get down to 12st - so 1.5 stone to go.

I adore cake and biccies and wine and find it really hard to lose the beef when you are tired. It's also very difficult to exercise with 2 littlies. I love the gym but it is just not possible at the moment.

I pole dance once a week and belly dance once a week (although that doesn't start again until September now).

I haven't read all through the thread 'cos it's far too long but please give me some motivation!
