Jodie you are allowed to have had the week off as it sounds like you have had a great week!

Dozy/LB as you have both had 2/3 C-sections, could I just ask you a question? Do you still have a belly overhang despite losing the weight? I do - it is probably the only part of my body that I am still REALLY unhappy about It is a lot smaller than it was 4 months ago but it is still definitely overhanging my scar in a very unsightly way. Do you know if it will ever go away??

Peckarolloveragain · 17/05/2009 22:26

Hi

Im considering joining WLR, can everyone give me your opinion on it? Have you all lost weight?

missnatalie · 17/05/2009 23:01

Hi, just a quick update. No loss for me this week. Still at 12st 6lb but i have a theory about this. Saturday last week i weighed 12st 6lb but after changing the battery in my scales it said 12st 8lb . Maybe my scales have been out for a while. I dont know but either way im stiull 12st 6lb and absolutly gutted as it puts my target date back even further.

Well done for a the losses

Dozymare · 18/05/2009 08:35

Morning all missnat this happened to me as well a few weeks back - do you remember? Are you using Salter scales by any chance???? My difference was 2lbs as well....

pecka WLR is great - we have all lost weight (I am the thread resident yo-yoer but still lsot 2 stone since January ) It is brilliant...I love it! Please do join and join us for extra support!

ceebee my CS overhang is absolutely disgusting.....as is my tummy which is my problem area. Even when I was around 10stone, I always had a pot belly...reckon I will always have it now and the overhang Even my skinny friend has a CS overhang....she is about 8 stone....

I had a GREAT day yesterday, went to the last home game of the season at Chelsea...BUT this is what I ate and drank over the course of the day............

Kitkat senses (on train) 160ish cals of delish!
Pint of Lager top
Large Gin and Tonic
Bottle of red wine
Hot chocolate
Smoked Salmon and beetroot salad
Roast beef, yorkie, 3 roast pots, veg and gravy
Baileys choc cheesecake
2 mini steak pies
1 chocolate eclair
1 lemon drizzle muffin

Haven't even inputted it yet.....bets please on how many cals before i do?! i reckon 4,000 plus...

LadyBuzz · 18/05/2009 12:56

ceebee yes I still have it, I hate it too! Short of a tummy tuck I think it stays .

dozy sounds like you had a fab day

don't lose heart missnat.

I'm gonna try and be extra good this week

Ceebee74 · 18/05/2009 19:28

Thanks for the info about c-section overhangs - just as I thought, it ain't going to disappear

Missnat don't get disheartened, we have all had bad weeks!!

Peck it is definitely worth joing WLR - I think everyone who has been doing it on here has lost at least a stone and it is easy!!

Dozy am about your trip to the Bridge (and one more for luck ). It has been years and years since I last went there - have had to make do with watching them when they venture into Lancashire although last time was when I was 7 months pg with DS1 at Blackburn just after we had won the Premiership. I actually saw them twice in about 3 weeks that season as they played at Bolton a couple of weeks before. Not been since then as no babysitters!!

As for the food - I really wouldn't bother inputting it on WLR. When I have had a bad day, I just don't enter anything so it assumes you have eaten your calories - far too depressing to see exactly how many calories you have consumed!!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 19/05/2009 11:24

I have lost 1lb!

I've stuck to it pretty well this week, apart from the weekend! Just need to try and get some exercise going now.

JODIEwantsanewname · 19/05/2009 16:04

Well doen Alibaba!!

Right girls, I need motivation and fast....

I'm am so tired and just want to go to bed, but I haven't been to BC for a week, and really should go tonight! Please make me, as I know I'll regret it if I don't. (and the scales are showing a 2lb gain this fortnight )

Ceebee74 · 19/05/2009 16:42

jodie go go go!! You know you will feel 100% better when you have finished the class and are buzzing! I did the new BC release yesterday - it was good! There is one track where you do 64 knee lifts in a row (32 on each leg) - and you have to do it twice during the track - it is an absolute killer And that is why you have to go!!!

Ceebee74 · 19/05/2009 16:43

Alibaba well done A good start and exercise definitely helps (if only because you can eat more )

Ceebee74 · 21/05/2009 11:15

Don't know where everyone has gone - have you all abandoned me??

Just had a message from Dozy - her laptop is down and she can't access the internet so she is having a bad week as she can't track her eating via WLR. She will be back asap

JODIEwantsanewname · 21/05/2009 12:44

Still here, just decorating the house ATM, can't wait to get it finished.

I gained 1.5lbs this week (well fortnight as not weighed myself last week,) so not too bad.

Did go to BC in Tuesday, and I;m so glad did!

missnatalie · 21/05/2009 13:23

Still here. Im another one thats decorating. Have been since last Thurs. I started on the living room and now im going round the whole house!!
Dozy yeah i remember when that happened to your scales. Mine are WW ones. There not all that good to be honest but they'll do for now.
Anyway must dash. Im painting the hall, stairs and landing in Kiwi Burst. Its lush

missnatalie · 21/05/2009 13:26

Ive got to share this with you all. Yesterday i went to B&Q for paint. I couldnt find the brand that i wanted so i asked the assistant where it was. Only i said it wrong. I said "excuse me,can you tell me where the Durex paint is please" . I was so embaressed. I didnt even realise what id said and thought she was being rude when she just stood there staring. I was mortified when i realised. DP thought it was hilarious .

JODIEwantsanewname · 21/05/2009 14:06

How funny Missn!!! that sounds like something I'd do

I;ve just finished strippig the wallpaper and can't do anything else as I;m off to Homebase in the morning as it's 10% off tomorrow and Saturday, so no point buying it today!

LadyBuzz · 22/05/2009 10:01

LOL Missnat

I'm gutted I have been so so good this week with my eating AND my excersise (apart from yesterday when I went to a party and there was buffet food ) and I have stayed the bl**dy same .

On the up side I still appear to be getting smaller and with the help of some of those hold you all in pants the dress should fit no problem phew!

Dozymare · 22/05/2009 14:28

hellllloooooooooooooo - I am back!!!

Sorry ladies, my laptop went down on Sunday and I haven't been able to log on WLR or MN. Consequently, have put 2lbs on this week at myself........

Also have only managed 2 runs as Tiger not been well and so unable to get into the creche at the gym......
feeling demotivated.....

OP posts:
Ceebee74 · 22/05/2009 19:44

LB well done on the dress - and in the 2/3 weeks you have left, you may not even need the 'hold it all in' pants

Dozy don't give up I would be totally lost without WLR now and just know I would revert back to my old ways when I used to think I was eating healthily - but WLR has taught me that my portions were too big/that having cheese and potatos/rice in one meal plus a steak is far too many calories etc. One bad week is NOT going to ruin this for you - just think of that wedding invitation and the slinky dress you can buy when you are a size 12/14

Missnat that really is funny but very

Weigh-in day tomorrow - have no idea what the scales are going to show but have stuck to my calories so fingers crossed

FiveGoMadInDorset · 23/05/2009 08:10

Mornign all

MissNatalie thank you for the early morning giggle and I hope you and
Jodie emjoy your decorating this weekend.

Dozy good to see you back, sorry you have had a bad week but glad you like your printer and also glad that I wasn't the only one who thought the software was a bit of a bugger. Hope your georgeous baby is feeling better soon.

The tablets are still going strong, I have a check up with the Doc on Wednesday so will let you knwo then how I have got on, the only side affect at the moment is constipation, any ideas?

Well busy week coming up, we are fully booked until next Sunday and then we are going on holiday.

Dozymare · 23/05/2009 09:25

five helloo!!!

Am so glad you are going well on the tablets! I am seriously thinking about asking the Dr to prescribe me some to get me kick started again as I am seriously yo-yoing and can't seem to stop . obviously this is NOT the way forward, and it is really getting me down.

Is it all worked out on BMI? If so, I am obese so hopefully they will give them to me on that? (or do i need to go into my relationship with food). Don't think the Dr has all day!

What does everyone else think on this? I am not looking for a "quick fix" (at least I don't think I am) but something to get me started again.

Anyway, Ladybuzz bet you don't need the magic knickers, you must post a picture for us of you in the dress!

missnat taht is very funny!

How is everyone else doing?

I have my run on Monday so looking forward to that!

Hope you are all enjoying the sun!

missnatalie · 23/05/2009 10:15

OMG ive lost 4lbs this week!!

Im actually quite shocked as ive done no exercise what so ever and gone over my cal allowance most days. Not hugely over, but still over.

I really am shocked. Puts me at 12st 2lb. Nearly into the 11st area

Ceebee74 · 23/05/2009 21:25

Stayed the same this week which I am (reasonably) ok about as I lost 3lbs last week so I guessed it would even itself out!

Missnat congrats on the 4lb loss - one thing I have discovered is this weight loss is a funny business!!

Dozy from a completely personal opinion, I wouldn't opt for anything to assist my weight loss - I am not convinced that it helps address the issues and would just mask the problem iyswim. However, I am not a fan of any drugs whatsoever so my opinion is very polarised tbh. I would do whatever you feel comfortable with and if you think that going to the doctors would help, then do it

LadyBuzz · 24/05/2009 09:59

Missnat well done on your loss thats great!

Five my Nanna swears by a cup of hot water every morning to keep things moving, its worth a try!

Ceebee well done to you too, its not on so that is what matters!

Dozy don't lose heart you are doing fantastically, I seemed to hit a plateau at 11 stone and have been up and down there for ages, thankfully after a month or so I seem to have broken through it and the weight seems to be moving again. Keep going you are obviously doing something right!
Good Luck for tomorrow!

Fufulina · 26/05/2009 16:11

Hi ladies - have been lurking on this thread and would like to join? A bit of background - I used WLR a couple of years ago to lose 2 stone for my wedding. Joined again 8 weeks ago and am 20lb down (god LOVE breastfeeding!). Another 20lb to go to get to wedding weight. Although only another 10lb to go to get to pre-preg weight... So so love WLR - it is truly the only thing that works for me. Also spurred on as am now back in pre-preg jeans (although they are rather snug) - but still got two pairs am desperate to get back into.

For any other lurkers interested - my DD is 5 months and EBF, so I am set for 2lb a week loss and for my breastfeeding calories I eat half a big bar of green and black's butterscotch every day . It's working so far and having developed the sweetest tooth during breastfeeding, couldn't face not eating chocolate at all...

Onwards and downwards everyone!

Ceebee74 · 26/05/2009 20:32

Fufulina welcome to the thread and a huge well done on your loss so far There is nothing like that feeling of getting in your pre-preg jeans is there??

Quick description of me - I started on WLR in the New Year when I weighed 15st 9lb after having DS2 (who is now 6 months old) - I have lost 2 stone now so am currently 13st 9lb so I have pretty much lost all my pre-preg weight but am definitely thinner as I can get in jeans that haven't fitted me since having DS1 3 years ago!! My target is another 2 stone which should take me to my weight before I started having children

I LOVE WLR - it suits me down to the ground and is by far the best diet I have ever done. It is easier though as I do as much exercise as I can so I can eat more

That wasn't very quick was it?
