Hi Ceebee - that's so brilliant you've lost loads - although I think everyone on this thread has, haven't they? Most impressed that you're slimmer than pre-babies. That is a gloriousness I cannot imagine...

Completely agree re: exercise. If you blow out, you know it's not the end of the world - just go on a massive walk/run (not that I can actually run ) to earn the blow out. Or that amazing feeling of banking some calories for some deliciousness and then still being within your limit. I think am a WLR evangelist...

I suppose I should tell you actual weights (god this is scary) - was 14 stone 2 when I started and now 12 10. Aiming for 11 4... And when I get there will see how I feel. I'm 5 seven and a half (very important BMI ramifcations that half inch...). Hope everyone has a good day.

Ceebee74 · 27/05/2009 08:42

Lol fufulina - I am only slimmer than pre-DS2 - still got to shift the 2 stone I put on when I had DS1 3 years ago and was never able to get rid off - if only I had known about WLR then!!

You sound a similar size to me - I am also 5ft 8 and am aiming for 11st 9 then when I get there I will make a decision as to whether I am happy there or not.

I am definitely a WLR evangelist - well worth the £10 per month! What other diet could you eat chocolate every day and have a bottle of wine every week and still lose weight That is definitely the key for me as it doesn't feel like I am on a 'diet' as I still get my treats - without those, I would fall off the wagon within days

FiveGoMadInDorset · 27/05/2009 11:27

Welcome to the thread Fufulina.

hello everyone else.

Have just been for my check up with the Dr and that is another 1.5kg lost so 7.7lbs in 4 weeks which she was happy about and considering the amount of alcohol that was consumed over the weekend then I am happy about that as well.

Dozy have a chat with your DR, for me they are great and yes i was yo-yoing as well, it is definitely more psychological but I have noticed that I have stopeed sncking in the mornings between breakfast and lunch, I still need my 5pm sugar fix and the wine doesn't help but it is definitely helping.

LadyBuzz · 29/05/2009 09:26

Morning all I have 2lbs off today .
BUT I am on a hen night tomorrow starting with an Italian - I will just have to dance lots to work the calories off!

Five well done you I'm glad the tablets are working out for you.

Welcome fufulina

Hi to everyone else

Fufulina · 29/05/2009 19:23

Well done LadyBuzz - great news. I love the 2 pound weeks - it really feels like you're motoring.

Had a beautician round yesterday afternoon with my NCT crowd. We all had a lot of hair removal... Poor beautician - 6 ladies with 5 month olds and not one of us has stepped inside a salon since the babies were born... she had her work cut out. And very excitingly - not just in my pre-preg jeans - actually felt confident enough to wear them out today! And sneaky peak at the scales is 1.5 pounds off since Monday.... We'll see. Am experimenting to see just how much green and black's I can get down my neck before it stops the weight loss... DD is obliging by being the hungriest girl in the world.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying this weather.

Ceebee74 · 30/05/2009 15:18

Buzz well done on the 2lb loss - now go and enjoy your hen night (if you aren't alrady )

Fufu your day sounds fab - I would LOVE to be pampered like that as I find hair removal as one of the dullest, most boring things ever!!

Well, 2lb loss here aswell this week so total now is 30lbs. Happy days.....

missnatalie · 01/06/2009 14:39

Well done on the loss this week everyone

I am so p*ed off . My HAE has flared up again (always does in hot weather) and im having to take my steroids again. The steroids always make me blow up and retain water. So far ive gained 3lb . Back at 12st 5lb. Its so unfair. I was doing really well and then this happens. I know its only water that im gaining but knowing this doesnt make me feel any better when looking at the scales. I hate my body . Cant wait to reach my target weight. Maybe then i can stop being so obsessed with what goes in my mouth and relax a little.

JODIEwantsanewname · 01/06/2009 21:51

Hi all, Just got back from a weekend away camping in sunny Somerset, and sunny it was too!!! Had such a fab time, we went to Longleat (loved it!!!!!) Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, Bath (what an amazing city, I want to go back without the kids!) And basically had a ball!!! The campsite was brill and geared up for kids, so hundreds of children there, so Oli had loads of company and it didn't matter if any babies got up early (like mine!! )

Diet gone down the swanny (again) I just can't stick to it, and then get all upset when I see pictures and reflections... Need more willpower.

Missn just keep going, it'll come off soon enough!

Well done all you losers!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 04/06/2009 10:49

Hi everyone - I've been a bit hit and miss with the diet but another 1.5lbs down, so 2.5lbs in total.

I've been managing at least 15/20 mins exercise most days for the last week, need to ramp it up a bit but I'm so unfit!

Ceebee74 · 05/06/2009 21:00

It is quiet here at the moment Have we all given up???

Well I haven't but it is TOTM at the mo so I don't think the scales are going to be kind tomorrow

Fufulina · 06/06/2009 10:44

DH has been on holiday this week - and so true to form, WLR has gone out of the window. Arrrghh! At that dangerous time when have lost enough to feel comfortable-ish in my skin, but not enough to feel great - but the real need to lose a shed load has gone..... Must concentrate! Am going to weigh self tomorrow. I reckon I've put on at least a couple of pounds in Doritos and dip alone...

Hope everyone else is well x

Ceebee74 · 06/06/2009 19:21

fufulina I think we are all at the point now (I know I am!) - I know I still need to shift 2 stone to be really happy but the urgency has gone as I am reasonably ok with how I look now.

Stayed the same this week which I am ok about - seems to be my pattern of dropping a couple of pounds one week and then staying the same the next.

Quite a few people have been very complimentary about me and how much weight I have lost - so I feel better, plus it is nice that people are noticing (even people I don't know that well ) Compliments are always a good thing imo

LadyBuzz · 07/06/2009 10:14

fufulina I could have written your exact post this week right down to the doritos and dips!
I failed to weigh in on Friday so I might have to do it today.
However THE wedding is on saturday so If I have put much on I may need to starve this week to get into my dress.

Was out last night and wore a pre pg dress that fit better then it did when I bought it - yay!

ceebee the good thing is that it is staying off and not creeping back on in your 'bad' weeks. you are doing so well!

alibaba well done on your loss

missnat stay positive at least like you say you know what is causing it.

JODIEwantsanewname · 11/06/2009 11:21

Gosh it's quite! How's everyone doing????? I hope you are all OK

Dozy how's your son?

Well I can't remember what my 'score' was the last time I posted, but I've been up and down, and now I'm 11 stone 1 lb, so thats 1 stone 4lbs off, and I'm nearly at the lovely 10stone mark!!!!

JODIEwantsanewname · 12/06/2009 09:55

Whhoooo hooooooo.....

Next notch on my belt this morning!!!!!!!!! (thats 3 notches since Easter!!!!)

Ceebee74 · 12/06/2009 13:31

Jodie well done No wonder you are chuffed!!

All good here - still plodding on. Now fit very comfortably in size 16 trousers and actually bought some size 14 tops the other day which fit nicely aswell.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 12/06/2009 13:46

I've lost 2lbs more, so 4.5lbs in total now.

More importantly - 3.5 inches off my waist!!

We are off on holiday tomorrow and my summer clothes actually fit and look nice so I'm chuffed about that. Going to try not to be tooooo awful while we're away and then get back on the wagon when we're home again

JODIEwantsanewname · 14/06/2009 21:22

Well done Ceebee and Alibaba, (did you go anywhere nice on holiday?)

Where the bloody hell is everyone????????

missnatalie · 15/06/2009 11:13

Well done Ceebee and Alibaba and Jodie too .

I am completly and utterly pissed off at the moment . Lost 2lb last week which took me back to 12st 3lb. Have reduced my meds so that may be why. Yesterday my HAE started again and ive gained 4lb overnight!!!! . Today i look terrible all my face has swollen up. I can harly open my eyes. My nostrils have swollen so much i cant breath through my nose. My tummy is all bloated. I hate it!! Ive had to go back on my 30g of Prednisolone which means that im going to gain even more. I really an sick and tired of this. Im trying so hard but my body wont let me lose anymore .

JODIEwantsanewname · 15/06/2009 13:03

Missn. Can't you talk to the docs about it? I'm hardly an expert, but that doesn't seem right...

Dozymare · 15/06/2009 13:56

hi Girls - I am here but lurking...someone found out my MN name and has been commenting on things I have been posting, so I am keeping a low, low profile.......am 13st 10lbs so doing my usual lose 4, put 2 on . Still, overall have lost more than 2 stone so just need to keep focussed......

not sure wether to name change or sporadically post........
missnat when I was in hospital, I put 8lbs on literally overnight (despite not eating a damn thing, this was all the drips and came off the week after) Could it be that???

What are you on meds for?

OP posts:
JODIEwantsanewname · 15/06/2009 14:06

dozy thats terrible (sp?) I think you should namechange as I'd miss you if you only posted occasionally, and I want to know how your little boy is and how you are getting on with the iphone???????

LadyBuzz · 15/06/2009 16:10

Hi Dozy good to see you!

Well I lost 3.5 lbs last week after starving myself. The wedding was saturday and I DID fit into my dress .

Back to normal this week eating wise so I am hoping to get below the 10 1/2 stone this week!

missnat hope you get sorted that can't be nice.

missnatalie · 15/06/2009 17:14

Hi Ladies, im still under a consultant for my disorder and saw him last Friday. He prescribed some new meds but there not available until tomorrow. Even then i cant take them until my next period starts in about 10 days. Really dont want to take them due to the side affects but i cant live like tis any longer.

Jodie it happens all the time so im used to it but its really getting me down now. Its genetic so theres nothing else the doc can do apart from try and keep it under control. Think its my own fault really for reducing my meds in the first place .

Have been peeing for england today so hopefully as the swelling it going down im peeing all the excess fluid out . Im hoping so anyway. Am tempted to weigh myself tomorrow to see if theres any change

missnatalie · 15/06/2009 17:17

Oh no that happend to me too. MIL figured out my nickname (it wasnt too hard ) and pulled me up about the stuff id written about her. I see MN as my diary sometimes, especially when i had my PND. I was gutted that she'd found me. Did change name for a while but people thought that i was a troll so changed it back.
